Ah yes the common era, the era that is common. The common era just so happened to begin as soon as Christ died too, odd that. I wonder if they’re related?

And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. -Acts 3:19 If you are in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: OPC, PCA, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church (These are conservative and actual Presbyterian/Reformed churches) If you can’t find one of the conservative presby churches then, maybe an Lcms Lutheran church. If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC. (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it will show you locations. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:24-25

what a stupid question? Ranger are for the U.S government while the people fighting at the Alamo were not considered Americans at the time. as a matter fact, most were Mexicans or naturalized Mexican.

WW1 cruiser could do it by itself. Arguably most destroyers from WW1 could. They can sit well outside range of any French, Spanish or British guns… only way the opposition wins, is if they scatter. The Destroyer’s 75-139mm’s can only sink them each so fast and can really only take on 1-2 at a time.

Don't forget the Union had artillery on Culp's Hill and Little Round Top that fired from the high ground on both flanks and decimated the Confederates marching over open ground. All these pieces were out of rifle range and protected by elevation and tree cover. The Union also had some regiments (notably the 8th Ohio) on the Confederate left who were in enfilade position and poured in small arms fire that melted advancing columns. Union artillery in the center was also firing canister shot, making them essentially giant shotguns. The march was over a mile, so even with the superior accuracy of their guns, the time travelers would still be exposed to the same rain of fire from the Union artillery as the rest of the ranks. If they were grouped together and not spread out, one well-placed shot would take them off the field.

As a lifelong Tombstone fan (my fav western and in top 5 movies period). I watched Wyatt Earp for first time yesterday. Tombstone is by far superior but Wyatt Earp is a great film too My dream scenario thoughts: 1. Put Costner in Tombstone as Earp (playing the legend with the script Kurt had) 2. Swap Quaid in as ‘Johnny Ringo’ in Tombstone. Dennis quad is great but Kilmer wins doc easy, nothing against Michael Biehn I just bet Quaid would be fantastic facing off against Kilmer. 3. Sam Elliot STAYS as Virgil 4. Bill pullman (‘Ed Masterson’ in Wyatt Earp) as MORGAN in Tombstone 🤷‍♂️

I think a WW1 destroyer like a Sampson or Clemson from the USA would also win over Nelsons fleet. I mean just one destroyer vs the entire British or french fleet.

The more obvious thing to say i feel is that, it couldn't fight forever, sure in terms of combat capabilities it completely dominates. But ammo, fuel, moral, i see it being attritioned down till it able to be captured or destroyed somehow....

I’m just utterly astounded at how they managed to bring all the different pieces of the game together so perfectly. They fully could’ve lost their original intentions and went on a massive tangent with Kyeser just from how interesting he is. I’d love to see him in the second game. Brian Blessed voicing him was the perfect choice for a voice actor. I love Brian and think he as a person fits the character very well. I just can’t say enough about how well crafted this largely unknown masterpiece is.

One outcome of a French victory would have ment a conflict between Britain and the United States more than likely would never have happened. It might embolden the United States to invade and conquer Canada changing the map of North America drasticly.

Silly question. A single 1900-cruiser, say some german light cruiser of 1904-gazelle class would wipe out ALL ships from all sides. Why? because the cruiser could stay at a distance, in opposition of the wind (so the sailing ships are basically helpless) and accurate HE-fire from the tiny 10,5cm shells would destroy any ship. And these fleets would never do ANY harm to the cruiser. Think hard about it. A cruiser, with 7 10,5cm-guns, approach with HE and AP-shells a Victory-class sailing ship. That is out of wood, burns like hell and cannot shoot back. 6-7 HE-shells ends that ship, because the ship burns nicely. Worse - the Cruiser would aim for the rudder, cross the T behind, so the shells would end the ships life even in a worse way. Or they fire some AP-shells below the waterline... end of ship. The technological advantage between a basically 1700-sailing ship compared to a 1900-cruiser is just to much. Heck, they could use the smaller cannons, allways crossing the T BEHIND the sailing ships. And if the ship-of-line fires a broadside - nothing happens. Heck, sailors with K98 could kill out of effective range anybody who try to take the rudder... or some MG... firing through the open windos in the aft - slaughtering anybody IN the ship. These were basically open hulls, for this in OTL any ship that eat one or two broadsides in the aft section was finished...
