  Had some questions i wanted to ask: 1- have you tried to use the new Silhouhatte rabbit with the azurune trap (or apophis trap)? 2- whats the gameplan when you get shiftered? The rabbit needs 1 slot in the main and 1 in the extra deck (as opposed to 2 melffys in the main, herald and melffy forest) which i felt could be better than the melffys stuff in general. The debate between apophis and azurune is also tricky. Azurune is nice since you can benefit from rabbit’s mst-like effect and retain the azurune solemn effect, but Apophis can negate spells like branded fusion, sangen summoning, drnm, harpies etc. and other decks where it’ll be universally useful against meta and rogue. Apophis also forces the opponent to use their droplets early so they cant use stuff like harpies and chain droplet. The only issue i have with rabbit is that you usually have to summon it to sprind’s arrow which kinda sucks. But it felt like a decent backup plan through shifter and the sort.

  @@PeTr0o0L haven't tried it yet, been taking a small break to focus on some other things. Wanted to just mention that Apophis negates up to the number of OTHER Continuous Traps, so it won't include itself. I have a video on my channel showing combos under Shifter. Essentially, you can still do your normal stuff (Blue>Jet>Gigantic>Summon a Rsd/Carrot), and then you can also make your Melffy stuff if you have the resources. If you're running the Rabbit, you can summon that instead.

  @@theorangegriffin7531 well thats made my life way easier idk how i missed that good catch 🤣 im off the melffy stuff atm in favor of the rabbit so was considering playing ipiria or another generic 2 like meowmine. Ive binged all of your recent videos for some reference. Have a big locals on saturday and there are waaaaaay too many decks to prepare for, from meta to rogue to stun and all inbetween so at a loss as to how to prepare. You have purrely with their tower monsters, snake eyes and yubel (with an without friendsmiths), a bunch of tenpai maining shifter, branded “ftk” decks, mega combo decks like mannadium, runicks, labrynth, floo etc. its been a doozy 🙃

  1 big addition to the format is mulcharmy too. Not sure if you have stumbled on it but it can really put a hose on melffy sprights. Made me consider mannequin cat for testudo since charmy is a water but it having the benefit of being accessible by toad and double cross. Rabbit plays around charmy as well.

  @@Rpreditor00 Both play into Shifter well, the Melffy main deck monsters are however not complete bricks going 2nd, whereas the Trap is. Will still need to test, but I plan on testing after the banlist as I'm currently taking a break :)

  Unfortunately haven't been in touch with the meta post-INFO! But from a glance, might need to either take a full board breaker approach while praying to not run into any Gimmick Puppets, or you can main Shifter, -Droplets.

  @@furobituro5582 the deck clears tenpai if you know what you are doing and that is enough. Nothing can compare with the tier zero. He is not saying that the deck is the best cmon.

  I went against snake eye with this deck, and won a match even going second. If you’re smart enough, you can break through boards. Even if you can’t break through the end board, I’m proud enough to be able to cook through it.

  @@sillyclown6083 Late reply, apologies. Not great, especially if we want to move towards maining Shifter again. We also have enough engine (frogs), so having another 2 isn't going to help that much.

  we play the new hat hare coming out and some people are playing the level 2 aqua that can reborn itself when double cross reborns. both cards help us not hard lose to dark ruler/droplet

  @@Vadesdo you know what the best target for the hat hare is? I’m thinking of replacing the melffy engine with it but I don’t know if Angel Statue (summon negate at any time) is better than Silhouhatte (negate 2 cards on summon if you still control rabbit, otherwise negate 1)

  So what part of the bridge of banishing Fenrir and Radian does it result in Jet or Blue? Is it the attribute? Am i missing smt?

  Yep, just the attribute! Fenrir and Radian share their levels (7), and Jet/Blue share the Dark attribute with Radian.

  Hey there man! Really liking your videos recently bro, but I can't afford S:P, so I'm thinking to run the Melffy package instead, but not sure if it's worth it to just run more non-engine like Fenrirs. Also having some annoyance OTK-ing with the deck and finding that really hard to do and don't know whether to drop Smashers for Double Cross or Gamma Burst, or play one gamma, one smashers or something maybe and side in Double Cross?

  @@TechAreUs you can run both! The Melffy stuff and Fenrir are both great! As for S:P, while it is great not only as an I:P link target, it is also really good at removing follow-up or annoying cards in general (Princess, My Friend Purrely, etc). Replacing it is hard, but you can try Knightmares instead. You can usually OTK with Gamma Burst (break their board and then swing for game with 3-4 bodies and Gamma Burst), or you can use Mosquito (2-3 additional bodies, you don't need to clear their board). I'd recommend running both Gamma Burst and Double Cross. Gamma Burst for OTK potential, and Double Cross for Toad/Herald follow-up. Also acts as interruption if you don't want to reccur the Omnis.

  @@theorangegriffin7531 Thanks so much man, one of the best responses I've ever gotten from a KZreadr and being one myself, I appreciate you always responding to comments and viewer's questions. But yeah man I'm just torn between playing the Melffy stuff, or just playing Triple Tactics, because a lot of my locals don't play HTs so I'm thinking the Melffy stuff is worth it to make going first even better and was on Smashers, but decided to go for Double Cross instead after watching your new video that you posted an hour ago bro! Yeah just don't know if I should play more breakers, I'm currently at 40 cards with the Melffy stuff, but really wanna play Talents, so let me know what you think bro and decided to play Avram over S:P, since I had a copy and figured it puts up major pressure on board. P.S. what do you think of siding Phantazmay to draw cards as well as stop targetting disruption from popping the normal summon, or level 2 before you can do anything?

  @@TechAreUsAppreciate the comment! I see it as just helping out fellow players more than viewers :') Talents can definitely suck to draw. If a good majority of your locals aren't playing HTs, then definitely consider playing other cards over it. Maybe Droplet, or even just other handtraps? Droll, Crow, Veiler etc. Phantazmay does seem quite interesting, considering it'll come up in most matches. Definitely one that is worthwhile testing! I like the aspect of being able to cycle through cards, and to have more resources going 2nd. Could be onto something!

  You could also play deep sea diva and still have 9 1 card combo under shifter 12 without shifter, more discard fodder for swap frog, potentially make both herald and toad. Shifter is highly likely required to play yugioh when fiendsmith comes out

  If you're looking for content ideas I would love to see a video specifically focussing on beyond first turn combo. - Anticipating Mannequin Cat targets against current match ups - First turn combo with 2 interruptions - Playing second into a board with a few interruptions These are all what I am testing at the moment

  Tbh the non-engine is just format dependent. I think Droll is iffy right now, and in the locals that I play in, Cosmic isn't impactful enough. You're right, it does depend on the event.

  @@OsirusHandle you chain it when they activate Flamberge. Usually, they'll use it in the DP to play around Talents. They can't use both Field and Flamberge together in the same chain unless you summon first.

  That last spright player could’ve chained toad to the droplet and chained double cross to toad to try to revive it and he still would’ve had an omni. At that point toad still gets met with lightning storm but either way I think that was the best line of play

  What do you think of the myutant engine? 3 e-tele, 1 m-05, 1 myutant mutant, e-tele is combo without normal summon and m-05 is also combo but with ns I feel like it helps play through hts a lot more and is only 5 slots

  Ideally, I want to keep the deck as consistent as possible (getting to Gigantic ASAP). While E-Tele can be useful as an extender, I'm not a big fan of adding more bricks that will generate another starting combo. I think having 9 1-card starters (Swap, Beaver, Starter) should be enough :)

  How do you think on a kash engine, I feel like it’s a anti fiendsmith for next format then using a handtrap on one of our cards then using unicorn eff could come up ripping the link out. Plus unicorn alone is a free link two as well. Final question what’s your opinion on the illusion link 2 for spright. Thanks for all the spright content brother you are truly a big help’
