How is it possible on rust console for guys to heli raid I was in base afk doors closed deep in core and i come back and heli is pummeling me and theres a 3 man running around my base they had an ext tc reasonable close but shit seem like a hack or something Ive played thousands of hours on rust never had this happen

After this many cheaters i doubt they actually care about cheaters, and only act like they care. Thus leading to the "Occasional" game ban. They know cheaters are bringing in lots of money for the game, even though they are buying 3rd party for cheap. New accounts being bought is more money. Please dont give up Camomo!! I understand how frustrating it can be for you. PS: Is it possible to use the admin powers, to make the cheaters Auto aim focus on their team mates? So as they "Auto Aim" to over ride your admin recoil change, it flips and hits their teammates? Adding in a new code that makes it so you can make it so they cant do damage to anyone other then specific people? So that when they override the recoil they just head shoot their own friends?

Camomo can you comment on why there isn't a cooperative effort between server groups to share ban lists? Why not have a ban on Rusticated trigger a server ban on rusty moose, war bandits, and all the other official and top tier modded providers? I understand that all these server groups are competitors. Is that the reason why this doesn't happen? Or is it because one server group does not trust the ban decisions of other server groups? It seems to me that if ALL the server groups got together and shared a ban list, any server ban would effectively be a game ban. This could be extremely effective against repeat cheaters by reducing the time an account lasts them by weeks or months. This would start costing them way more money, etc. etc. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic.

When people report a cheater you should join the person that reported them and raid the cheaters. That would make people report more and be rewarded with loot and be in a video. Legit players are rewarded and good content for you.

It takes months because twiddlebops like Comono keep banning people who would otherwise wandered off to cheat on official servers. External cheats are substantial harder to detect in short periods of time... banning them because you can see them is the WORST thing you could do. Once enough signatures are detected they do a ban wave and that cheat has to be redesigned to avoid the ac again.

I mean, the reason they don't ban cheaters immediately is to hurt cheaters more in the long run. If cheats get banned ASAP, it's easy to figure out what caused them to be detected, then simply fix it. If they wait a while, it confuses the cheat makers, now they don't know wtf got their cheats detected, they don't know exactly what to do to fix the thing. Was the thing in their latest version? Was the thing in a version from a month ago? Was it something they already noticed and fixed, or is it a new thing? The MAIN issue with rust cheaters is that it's just so cheap to get a new copy, if they were able to cancel any previous but unused rust codes from when they were bought under 5$, then people would have to buy a new copy for way more, making it not worth the risk of getting banned for more people, reducing the amount of cheaters.

Most bans come in waves. Im old as crap and played diablo 2 back in the day and they would usually do a big ban a few times a year so they developers of the cheats have a harder time figuring out what got them detected for their next "undetectable" update

It makes sense to me that they are using many different cheats on different accounts over time. They are getting the heavier ban on detected cheats. I have a strong feeling that most cheat-makers don't play. They make money from it. I don't understand how someone can just persistently cheat though. Zero empathy with these c****.

honestly debating applying to admin servers just to help out specially after the few years i've been watching 100% will do it after i've gotten my pc and personal life into a better state to do so hell im curious what the requirements to join EAC would be i would 100% enjoy being the personal EAC jockey for rust, cuz i'd be basically payed to click a few buttons and take away more and more accounts from these people specially when it affects them in other games that don't allow people with game bans on their servers the challenge of learning what to look for would be entertaining

The only thing I can see that resolves this is to make the cheaters actually liable for copyright infringement. And by liable ... I mean financially. If internationally they lose things like establishes media accounts and then wind up getting a knock on the door showing they (or their parents) are being sued for thousands of dollars... perhaps even 10's of thousands of dollars in damages... this ends in a weekend. Soon as word gets out... this is over.
