Funny how people complain that you ban for no reasons some times, yet here I am 10 years playing this game, never been banned once for "Cheating" or getting admin abused, love the video ty for cleaning the servers from the filthy cheaters :)

If you see how often streamers who are extremely talented get banned you'd know it definitely happens to legitimate players. I'm sure Camomo has evidence he doesn't record, but admins can easily mistake good game sense/game play for cheating. I've been banned from servers for calling out admins who've uploaded footage of cheaters but the same footage they used for the ban cleared them of any cheating (If the admins weren't braindead).

Given the number of players who F7 report anyone who kills them, great players can easily get banned if admins are incompetent. The same footage I've seen other server admins upload to show someone cheating cleared them of doing anything wrong. Thankfully Camomo is more diligent than other admins.

Granted, badmins exist in any game that has community or player owned servers, but the majority of admins on good reputable servers don't just swing the ban hammer wildly.

@@DisposableHeroDayZ Ofc it takes the admin really long time to spectate and decide if he is cheating or not, if the admin is not sure 100% you are cheating you won't get banned, no admin will want to ban someone falsely..

Man that last guy is a prime example of why you can never trust what they are saying. Just snapping back and forth the different players, and all he can say is “oh I’m not cheating, where’s your proof?” Absolutely love your work Camomo!!

I'll never understand the "what proof do you have?" mindset. They think an admin is going to tell them how they were caught, or they think they can still talk themselves out of it. Either way they all seem to think that being put on a toilet is part of the investigation.

Your the reason why the only official servers I play are Rustopia, Ive been playing the game since 2016 never cheated and never been banned for no reason ty sir. The luke warm IQ of the rust cheater community never ceases to amaze me.

I've never played rust, but these have been fun to watch! It would be cool to see an effect for the cheaters where everything they do is opposite (jumping is crouching, healing damages them, looking left looks right, walking forward moves back, etc).

I quit playing Rust about a year ago because of rampant cheating. Always happy to see there's guys like you out there trying to make the game a better experience for everyone else. Also blows my mind a bit that EAC doesn't automatically detect stuff like this.

The first guy reloading after every couple shots is driving me insane

I now get how admin know where I am. Recently started playing rust and thought my base was haunted. Random gifts drop through the roof as I would be organising my stash. As a noob I thought it was a trap to lure me out until they appeared before and well safe to say I got the fright of my life 😂

An idea I had for wallhackers? Reverse wallhack. Big Giant arrow of "here I am. Dirty cheater. Shoot me" size floating above his head. And, of course, he can't do damage. If you could make it so the cheater (and team-mates) can't see the arrow that would be even better.

There is one simple solution to limit to maximum cheaters to not return. Make internet less anonymous. Player assigns an account for example on Steam platform to himself - his real self based on his ID document. If you acc is banned then you can't create another acc just like I can't create another ID

Real question is can you make the recoil of weapons go all over the place instead of just up or down

dude this wipe i decided to play east facepunch 1 and im not even kidding it was like one in 4 people on there were cheaters. i ran into 4 cheaters in a row and they all got banned then came back.

People who complain about your bans are probably cheaters. Simple as. I've played Rust for 5 years and somehow managed to never be banned from any servers. It's almost like if you don't cheat you won't get banned.

Can you force push people? opps, they fell.

Camomo can you make a command that when they go to pick up an item it shoots back out of their inventory like when your inventory is full.

I quit playing any game with cheaters . After years and years of this i have come to realize that the devs of the game make money selling the game then get extra money selling the cheats.

Its rly happends sometimes! One of my friend got banned i was sitting next to him watching him playing and steaming rust. He got unbanned ofc after linking vod of hes stream in discord but without the stream i doubt that anything could be done in the ban appeal. Thats a part of the game cos of the real cheaters.

100%. Not sure if he will admit it, but it happens. There are hundreds of F7 reports daily for Camomo and his admins to review so it's guaranteed that something will be mistaken for cheating. Camomo also deletes plenty of comments on his videos of people calling him out. Seen multiple comments disappear on this video alone.

He answers this question quite regularly. The bits of footage we see is not the primary evidence of cheating... he doesn't explain what the main mechanisms are, so there is no info for the cheat-makers, , but I suspect they are built-in tools that check for modded files and weird interactions with the server etc. It's extremely unlikely that he's ever banned someone incorrectly, after the combination of detection tools and watching them play for a while.

Can you just lie to them about how they were caught? Like, they can report back to whoever they bought hax from and be like "Yeah the flux capacitor locked on to dual player models simultaneously, and that pinged the antilobby."

Is it possible to remove their ammo directly from their weapon and inventory without being obvious? I just picture they take a troll death, go to their base and restock, head out using walls seeking revenge, line up the kill to only have no result with an empty chamber, resulting in another troll death
