    With soo many $1100-$1400 bikes on the market with questionable brand names and support I'm seriously considering the Rad due to it's name. Can it be "modded" to go faster?

  • @ebikes_org
    @ebikes_org13 күн бұрын

    We can't speak to modding it, but we are certain that if you do, it will void the warranty. Some of their new e-bikes are Class 3 - hitting 28 mph. Maybe check those out!

    Thanks for the review, but battery placement could be better. On cold days I would take the battery everytime out to store it Indoor. Everytime I have to frickle it through or around the Chain :/

    @ebikes_org10 күн бұрын

    You make a good point. I do wish I had put that in the review. The battery placement could be better or maybe the battery should be flipped around so it doesn't hit the chain. That might be the only issue I have with the bike though.

    Looks a Bit of a Lump,All this Bigger is Better is Not what a Lot of People Want,Why Ride a Tank of a Bike at 26KG When one at 20Kg is More like a Bicycle ? If You go to Bike Parks You Dont Need an E Bike at all.Lighter is Always Better Even Just if You Have to Lift it over a Fence,I Tried That With Mine at 26.5kg and it Was Not Fun at all.

    How long does the battery last?

  • @ebikes_org
    @ebikes_org27 күн бұрын

    You can expect to get between 50-60 miles per charge. It depends on how you ride it, the terrain you're riding on, and the temperature outside. If you use more throttle and are riding on hills regularly, expect less, but 50 is a realistic safe number.

    Maybe they should of offered it stock with the 635W battery for better value/weight with an upcharge for the 750W for those that wanted it. The angle of the motor pointing slightly down just looks wrong and no one wants a 60lbs+ emtb when the entire market is going lighter, well maybe not Norco lol Cheers on your review 😎

    Rail cxr is just an animal. Sadly is just expensive. Ill just wait and catch it on sale or something like black friday. My issue with canyon is that their bikes have terrible coloring, literally no options. Their torque on is very interesting, but sadly comes with ep8 and that frame integrated bottle is just dogshite design. Expensive or not imo trek is the top dog in the market. Not only do they make impressive quality, they also seem to always nail the looks of the bikes. If you buy 10k bike you also want it to look special with slick and eyecatchy coloring. Their deep smoke and lava red colors is just sick
