165 lb. Long John. That's not a great record to hold.
What's your on the Mars 2.0 vs Letric XP 3.0. Thanks
What's your opinion on the Mars 2.0 vs Letric XP 3.0. Thanks
Great review !! I will be taking your advice :)
Should you go 3.0 or 2.0 ?
🙏🏻
With soo many $1100-$1400 bikes on the market with questionable brand names and support I'm seriously considering the Rad due to it's name. Can it be "modded" to go faster?
We can't speak to modding it, but we are certain that if you do, it will void the warranty. Some of their new e-bikes are Class 3 - hitting 28 mph. Maybe check those out!
Bro I’m actually sad I was riding on very narrow path and rock threw me off I’m fine but lost the headlight the first day. 😭 how much to replace ya think
Awe man! Glad you're alright. A new light will run you about $40. www.radpowerbikes.com/collections/replacement-parts/products/electric-bike-headlights?variant=32148129054816
Thanks for the review, but battery placement could be better. On cold days I would take the battery everytime out to store it Indoor. Everytime I have to frickle it through or around the Chain :/
You make a good point. I do wish I had put that in the review. The battery placement could be better or maybe the battery should be flipped around so it doesn't hit the chain. That might be the only issue I have with the bike though.
A have a giant 85 nm and a was faster then my friend upp hill ,he had bosch 85 nm ,he ment it was 95 nm but a dont know if it even exist a 95 nm bosch.....he was so angry when a beat him to the Top...Giant Yamaha is the 1 Bosch have more noise also🫵🫵🙂
Thanks, what a lovely dog right there :-) A proper bike test for sure.
Looks a Bit of a Lump,All this Bigger is Better is Not what a Lot of People Want,Why Ride a Tank of a Bike at 26KG When one at 20Kg is More like a Bicycle ? If You go to Bike Parks You Dont Need an E Bike at all.Lighter is Always Better Even Just if You Have to Lift it over a Fence,I Tried That With Mine at 26.5kg and it Was Not Fun at all.
How long does the battery last?
You can expect to get between 50-60 miles per charge. It depends on how you ride it, the terrain you're riding on, and the temperature outside. If you use more throttle and are riding on hills regularly, expect less, but 50 is a realistic safe number.
@@ebikes_org thanks alot.
Finally a testride that resembles the stuff I do with an anolog bike. Yamaha is def on my list if they survive river crossings without a hitch.
Maybe they should of offered it stock with the 635W battery for better value/weight with an upcharge for the 750W for those that wanted it. The angle of the motor pointing slightly down just looks wrong and no one wants a 60lbs+ emtb when the entire market is going lighter, well maybe not Norco lol Cheers on your review 😎
It rides really good, so I would say weight is not what you think it is in reality on teh trail. thanks for watching. Alex
Thanks for spending the time with us guys.
Ugly and 60lbs.
Honestly its to expensive for what it is.
How does it compare to the Merida 875 E One Sixty?
Very similar, I have one of those on test.
I think that looks mint..
That's one big-boned bike.
That bottom bracket just looks like it is going to hit something standing still.
Its very stable, on descents, no bottom bracket hitting anything...
Which company makes rhe motor for rhis bike?

@@ebikes_org Thank you: The unbranded rear hub motor of the Mars 2.0 is a juggernaut of power and performance. Boasting a peak 1200W (750W sustained), this motor completely eclipses its predecessor...this is my issue with this bike...the motor!??
The new Mars 2.0 being shipped out to customers this month (June 2024) use a 1000w /1800w max rear hub motor. Should be a quick little bike 💪👍
When this unbranded motor goes bad what do you replace it with? With a branded motor replacement would be much easier
Level 2 is only 500w but does have a torque sensor. Looks like a great bike.
750W Motor. Level 2 is just a setting the limits the speed. I have mine unlocked to "unlimited"
@@uowebfoot 750w is the peak wattage. 500 is sustained. All unlocking does is allow you to get pedal assist from 20 to 28 mph.
@@DM-fp8uw I can do 28 with throttle alone. Unlimited mode allows 28 with peddle or throttle.
@@uowebfoot You are just making stuff up. The Aventon app has no such mode. Just a slider that allows 28 mph pedal assist.
@@DM-fp8uw Aventon? What are you talking about? This is NOT an Aventon. ROFL
Not sure it’s 150 mm in front
Rad!
Doesn't it weigh over 60 lbs?
Our apologies for the slip up! It does weigh 62 lbs. The weight is correct on our written review.
thats actually light for this style of ebike
Plastic gears?
Nice stop at the 1:32 mark!!!
Hi guys is there a trick to tight down lug nuts on an ebike with dual motor. Philodo h8 rear keeps popping out when go up hills
Just got one of these 😃
Trek has a lifetime warranty
Poorly done review
Thank you!
His review was good. if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all!
I just bought a level2. However-just saw the velotric discover2, which I think edges-out the level2 (unless there’s a “level3” on the way).
We will try to get our hands on a Discover 2 so we can give you a comparison.
5 year warranty. Free second battery. 2k. Just got it.
You don't get much more commitment to a bike reveiw than that 😂😂👍👍 Haha. Great job. Here in Australia it's $9099. Stunning bike! But super high price point!!
Hahaha Alex goes full gas all the time! We love it.
For anyone who can't afford to pay $4500 for the Xtracycle Swoop, plus $500 for the accessories to carry your kids, check out the $1475 Lectric Xpedition, $1499 $Blix Packa Genie and $1799 Aventon Abound, which include many of the accessories for free.
Rail cxr is just an animal. Sadly is just expensive. Ill just wait and catch it on sale or something like black friday. My issue with canyon is that their bikes have terrible coloring, literally no options. Their torque on is very interesting, but sadly comes with ep8 and that frame integrated bottle is just dogshite design. Expensive or not imo trek is the top dog in the market. Not only do they make impressive quality, they also seem to always nail the looks of the bikes. If you buy 10k bike you also want it to look special with slick and eyecatchy coloring. Their deep smoke and lava red colors is just sick
Was a bit misleading, the preview screen says the sx performance motor not the cx.
Sorry about that. Updated now!

*The whole point of the pedals is so that you don't get stopped by cops and it's just the whole loophole into getting an e-bike on the street*
How tall is the rider?
The rider is 6'2"
Same tiny battery that will now drain even faster. Some good improvements but the battery is a major factor being overlooked.
Looks like some nice trails for scenery and ride without autos.
Looks like a blast!!!
2:34 No it wouldnt make sense, it’ll just be kinda cringey.
Very good video and great point of view ! Nice job !
This was great to see! It can take rain. Awesome. I just became a dealer in Dec. Best company ever. And the YDX Moro's are so fun. Like you said on the handling too. It does. The 27.5's are a quicker both in launch and turning. Thanks for showing this!

This bike is sweet. The price, not so much.😅
It’s expensive for sure, but real fun to ride and insanely light. They did a great job designing it.
That’s why most consumers like myself don’t listen to so-called influencers like you. Guaranteed you don’t have a single fucking clue about the bikes other than saying it’s great, rad and worth the money because they sent it to you for free. You guys are clowns.
Most people would NOT consider that an issue...start peddling.
No complaints here! 🚴♂️
