Very happy with mine here in Australia, have it for 3 weeks and put 650km on it, Electrokicks were great to deal with

I’m in Australia too. Looking to buy this instead of a second car since I live 5km from town and it’s hilly. What do you like about it?

Great real life range , 70km+ on one charge, very comfortable, ability to override speed restrictions without loosing warranty; app support, great support from dealer in Melbourne even when buying from Townsville

@@williamschmitt6842 great to know. I used to live in Cairns. Used to ride my bike heaps there. Although I would struggle with heat now. I had my reservations about buying online since I’m not close to a major city. After sales support is important.

@williamschmitt6842 how do you make it go faster than 28mph, in simple terms?

    I just bought a level2. However-just saw the velotric discover2, which I think edges-out the level2 (unless there’s a “level3” on the way).

Thinking off buying this or a Pedego...there are a few bumpy trails around my place...nothing extreme but a finely crushed stone trail...how do the shock absorbers feel/work...any good? I have seen a few comments posted elsewhere that the shocks on the front wheel are not anything special..your thoughts?

The shocks are intended to soften the ride on road (bumps, cracks, rocks, etc.) but if you're planning on taking it on a gravel trail, it may not meet your expectations. It all depends on how you plan to ride it. We found them to work very well for city riding though.

Is this bike a large or small? Shopping for a larger frame . Lm 6 ft 5 in. 260lbs

Aventon offers two sizes of the Level 2, large and small. The large's stand over height is ~27 inches, and the max height of the saddle is ~42.5 inches. They say the height range for the large is 5’10" - 6’4", so you might be juuuust on the cusp of fitting, but everybody's built a little differently. Here's an in-depth video on how to measure yourself for a bike. This may help you decide: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2iT2Miqf9a9epM.html Let us know if that helps!
