  Omg! I had the same exact car, same color, motor (1.9) etc. Is yours the dual carb? I loved that car! Back in ‘74 it was FAST! and fun!

  I love it Rich! I know you had one already that you sold. This one obviously was too nice to pass over. Those taillights are used on many of the Italian exotics (or perhaps very similar to those). My first car was a 1970 Opel GT that I fixed up as a teenager and really enjoyed. I always thought the Manta styling was OK, but as it ages (or as I age) I now love the styling. Great video as usual!

  I always wanted one as a kid but three weeks allowance bought a lot of other hop-up parts, including those magnets and armature. Fun times! How are the front wheels held on? Press fit?

  Fantastic! Just so nice looking. Look fast sitting still. Espada rear window, before back up cams. (haha) Designs before 5mph bumpers, pedestrian standards, rollover standards. Less restrictions on design. (not that stuff that save lives is bad) Just breath taking designs. Thx for showing. Went to one of these so long ago, might have had Conestogas.

  Thanks for the video. I saw this brand on eBay while searching for Aurora and other HO slot cars. They’re asking 150 or so for one. So it’s much cheaper to buy from the website. They are really nice. Exceptional detail as you said. Thank you.

  Some of my favorite era of cars. Maybe a rubber band or elastic to act like a suspension on motor guide pin rail instead of tape. Thanks for sharing experience

  @nobodyshome758 The idea of virtual racing is intriguing. Those 90s lap counter-timers are really cool but don’t work with most vintage cars. The best place to look would be eBay. The phone apps work well; I use Lap Tracker m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/haqFk5ebfbi1Xag.html

  I may have to try a couple of these. Look like they run like Auroras. I go through what you go through getting old Tjets to run and wheel bases. Its about time for a new mouse trap. I have the OSX TSX guide pins. They seem to help the car stay in the slot better. Thanks for your review. ....And yes! to non magneted throttle controlled cars

  @blueovalracing1582 I did not take an old car there. I was driving my Valiant convertible but I do not have windshield wipers on it and the weather looked like possible rain, so I turned around. Yes a short video. I may go next week and try to make a better video.

You, know, after having several V2 compressors, and seeing/using them in my younger years, a Sanden rotary compressor is an acceptable upgrade. (to me) Great looking car👍

  @shiftintohigh5564 It is fun to drive. The V2 compressor is actually pretty efficient BUT has a high torque to get it moving from rest. Note: the AC isn’t functional yet.
