Chrysler Tech Center Cars & Coffee on May 19, 2024 - This is my 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible with original 273 “Commando” engine, 4 speed manual transmission and disc brakes. It is Dark Poly Blue (not black), a black vinyl interior with optional bucket seats and center console.

Love it! Gotta be a blast to drive! 273 4bbl Commando. Convt, 4 spd stick with a/c! Well done good sir! Signet, like the Fury of the A bodies. You, know, after having several V2 compressors, and seeing/using them in my younger years, a Sanden rotary compressor is an acceptable upgrade. (to me) Great looking car👍

@shiftintohigh5564 It is fun to drive. The V2 compressor is actually pretty efficient BUT has a high torque to get it moving from rest. Note: the AC isn’t functional yet.
