The Violent Valiant is the evolution from the Raybestos GTO-R project, purpose built for the road racing and autocross series. Kevin Tully and Chad Hill from Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle in Addison IL behind us is a 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet that we have transformed into one of our racing divisions Trans Am racecars. I wanted to work off the different bodylines of the car and do the two tones the blue would really pop off and the white would separate gives us a good place for the sponsor decals and Valspar paint has just been great. You can see into the lights here how much it shines and how much it glows it’s really catching a lot of attention. We really like the Valspar paint because of the color selection. In the case of the Valiant we are using factory Chrysler colors so it's a real opportunity to use the colors that already exist within the catalog to showcase that and show people that some of the OEM colors have a different life beyond not just your everyday driver and it can really be done in a really nice way and a custom car application. I think one other most valuable things to us about Valspar is that Chad and I are both from small towns and when you're dealing with the folks at Valspar it's like going to your local paint store it's not like calling some corporate office and dealing with a marketing person and or you're having trouble applying it you’re going to call a human being that understands what you're doing and their they're much more personable and you're able to connect with them a lot easier. This year's SEMA has been really crazy this year had a lot of people come around the Valiant and they really love it a lot of people are saying they never expected that a Valiant could ever look this good so pretty exciting and we’ve heard people say as they walked off wow I’m going to have to look for a Valiant now.
