They only pulled one of your pots because after pulling each pot the thief looks around with the binoculars saw you coming back after emptying that pot….. and hauled @zz the other direction….

3 hooks in sf bay, unlimited hooks in ocean unless target species has hook regulations like rockfish or salmon. Thanks for watching

I would be worried about the pressure washing taking off the clear . My boat has black anti fouling paint. It was moored before I bought it and it shows signs of the salt getting through the paint. Mine is a 2022 Hewes that I bought last year from the previous owner. Pressure washing mine was taking it off . Not sure what I’m going to do now . Remove it and replace or not !

its supposed to be rated for 3000 psi. My pressure washer was 1600. I kept watching to see if anything was coming off and I didnt notice that happening. The pressure washer really isnt that powerful. Your able to hold your hand a few inches in front of it without it hurting much. Thanks for watching

Anitfouling coatings that really worked have been banned for decades. Why? Because they were toxic to marine life. Even in the 90's when I kept a boat at Emeryville I couldn't get it. I think you're smart to clean that carpet off as it will really affect your boats performance. I used a soap cannon, hit the whole boat with soap then rinsed it off and dried the stainless after each trip. Kept the boat looking good and helped with the rust and corrosion issues you face keeping your boat in the water.

Use ablative or antifouling paint to prevent hull growth. You will have to check to see if it can be applied over the clear coat. Some paints are not compatible and won't adhere to each other well. If not compatible you can probably find a primer that will bond to both as an intermediary.

You were about two weeks away from having the growth turn more solid like it did on mine. The other wear is the zinc plates. The coating helps for sure, I wish I had put it on. I had a hard time finding someone to wash my aluminum boat, let me know what you find out.

I have seen videos with a foot of growth on it from a year and they has the hull max clear coat and it washed right off like it did for me. But yeah i would think getting it earlier rather then later is better. Thanks for watching

I think those “soft bites” tend to happen more when fishing with the current. I think the fish bites and just comes along for the ride where it’s not being dragged against the current. Great video, again!

You wrong about (..."it's just the bottom of the boat"). The salty air is just as harsh on the rest of your boat. The only reason I would ever leave a boat on the water is if it were too large to tow.

You should at a minimum of twice a year unzip the PFD from the flap on the left side and use the manual inflation tube and ensure the unit holds air. The CO2 is normally good for about 5 years, check the date on the co2 unit on the right. A new CO2 inflation cartridge is about $75. I have tested these and they inflate at about 12” submerged.

Didn't you have a washable live well in the stern of your last boat. Boats/skiffs are troublesome to maintain from the water below and the gulls above. A float in the water that drains $$$??

I liked the cleaning part. I'm no expert but it looked like it cleaned up really nicely to me. Good call bringing a scrubber for the deck... get that blood and slime off before it gets crusty. I'm diggin' this boat! I would totally watch you jump in the water and inflate your life vest! maybe for the 30k or 50k subscriber vid?
