Hi, my name is Ed and I created this channel to bring you an insider's view of the office products industry from an Office Products professional. Some things you can expect by subscribing to this channel are expect weekly video uploads of office product reviews, fun office hacks and interviews.
A little bit about myself, I've been involved in the Office Products Industry since the early 2000's where I worked for the iconic 3M, maker's of the much loved Post-it Note. In addition to being very connected to the Office Products industry, I have a deep appreciation of all things Office as they facilitate your success in the workplace. Have you ever seen a plumber that doesn't know how to use a wrench, or a carpenter that doesn't know the difference between a claw hammer and a ball peen hammer? Probably not. We, the Office Worker, have our own tools of the trade and my goal is to help you learn them!
If you like the videos, remember to Subscribe to my channel!

Thanks trying it immediately. My grandkids would love this.
This really works best for me
I have v board master. (Green)
In an classroom the students will see the writing backwards... so it wont work in a "live" application. Otherwise great opportunities.
Very helpful, thanks!
I am glad I came across this video. Hand santizer worked in my case.
@@nancywachira6156 glad it worked for you!
Good to know. I'll push back a little here. If paint is removed, most likely, you'll still need to mud over the peeled paint. Otherwise, you'll see the uneven surface. It's not a big deal.
This video was very helpful. Thank you. :)
@@MashondaJohnson you’re welcome!
How do you take it off at the end of the year if you may not come back?
@@leegrogan2409 it would unfortunately be a one-time application, however the next teacher would sure benefit from it 😊
Awesome video! All work! Thank you so so much!!
@@erindoyle8707 thank you and you’re welcome!
Thank you! I had written on my whiteboard with a Sharpie by accident. I didn't realize I had done it right away and then got busy and never dealt with it. So it was at least a week before I tried to remove it. Just used the 3rd method and it worked awesome! Thank you for the information and for saving my whiteboard.
@@sandrapickering821 awesome. Glad it worked!
Love this ❤I will use it in my math class for quick access for scratch paper on desk.
@@chiwanajones255 let me know how it goes!
Put a Fisher Space Pen refill in the 701 of you like it better. Drops right in. No modifications needed.
Remember, Military Grade means lowest bidder
thanks
Thank you 😊
The blessing of today's internet is if you have a not so common tool in your home, there's usually a lot of "hacks" for wild ways to use them. *This video is just some basic tactics, but I have no doubt there are videos out there showing the unique operations these can be used to perform.*
. Being visually impaired, many times I find the instructions on packaging very difficult to read due to the tiny type and font size. However, thanks to you and other KZread content providers, I can successfully navigate without tripping, breaking, dropping, bumping, burning, or damaging the world around me. Mostly... ha ha In the new apartment, I just finished hanging the first of what will be many pictures and wall art. Adversity is the opportunity to learn new opportunities to overcome any challenge, not to mention saves from having to burdon a friend or neighbor, and I will have more than bare walls to enjoy living in this new place. Thank you for posting this episode. Excellent production and sound qualities. Keep up the good work!

Seriously, reusing PostIt notes? One block, 100 sheets 3x3 inch costs a dollar
It’s not quite about cost, rather than finishing creative solutions 💡
How do you open up a pouch? I can’t seem to find an opening
Never mind, I found it. I was trying to open up the wrong end
@@ronmorton9483 it can be tricky sometimes as the opening can get stuck together!
Thanks a lot it has worked
You’re welcome!
I've used 'how to make toast' several times in BPM and BHAG sessions -- I would say Ed that you should attribute this 'model/approach' to its designer Tom Wujec. It's a particular bugbear of mine - we all leverage what we know to help others, it's important to give credit where credit is due.
Thank you for pointing this out and yes, full credit goes to Tom Wujec! ❤️
Thank you so much🥰
Tip :rubbing alcohol is nail polish remover so u can use that it works!!! Thanks guy I had permanent on the only white table we have in our house my mom would’ve killed me if she found out With it help of your trick it got erased 😊
@@mehersachdeva4665 good tip about the nail polish remover!
Many years ago (early 1990s) 3M offered the post it note adhesive in a tube, like glue sticks. They also offered poster board size sheets in grey or a maroon color that was covered in the post it note adhesive. Any piece of paper would stick to this poster. The tube of the adhesive could turn any piece of paper into a post it note by just rubbing the opened tube across the back side of a piece if paper. I used many tubes and many pieces of the poster boards. I wish both products were still available, they were both so useful.
I snipped the yip off a liquid and s gel super glue and squeezed and squeezed and squeezed with each one; I didn't get any clue out, how long do you have to squeeze to get some?
I have bought different brands of whiteboard. My biggest problem is after a few months or even weeks it is so hard to erase. Even bought expo whiteboard cleaners. Does this dry erase surface will be damaged overtime because of scratch? Im choosing to buy a glassboard or this. Is the durability that really good with heavy use? How long before staining happen?
The problem with most whiteboards is that the “slippery” top coating wears off quickly which leads to ghosting which is where it’s difficult to erase the dry erase ink. The 3M whiteboard has a patented coating which prevents this from happening and it lasts a very long time. The only exception is if you scratch it in which case the coating gets compromised which leads to the dry erase ink getting stuck between the micro-grooves. Although glass boards are great, they are also very expensive and difficult to mount which makes the 3M board very appealing. The other option is a porcelain board, but again, these can get pretty expensive. Let me know what you decide with and how it goes!
Anyone here in 2024?

Thank you!! Worked perfectly!!!
I like it! I'm a visual person, and this makes sense to me and attracts me. You explain it so clearly and make it seem so simple. Thanks! It seems like a good idea for one project with a number of tasks, so it can be kept in right front of you on the wall. I like the way you broke the project down into areas, and gave each area a different post-it color, and entered tasks on the color of the post-it for that area. I'd like to use this system for all of my projects and tasks, but even if I had enough walls for it, I imagine it would feel way too cluttered. Would you have any suggestions? Things seem to get hidden or buried in an app or in a notebook.
I’d really focus on a one or two important projects at a time so that you don’t lose focus. Of course, sometimes this isn’t possible, so you may want to use one board and different colored post-it notes to identify the different projects. Glad you found the video useful!
I've owned a Fisher space pen for 20 years- plus and still carry one daily. I even gave one to each of my top 30 executives. Unfortunately, the only drawback has never been addressed. That is the sections that are pulled apart to change the ink cartridge rely on friction, they aren't screwed together. These will often come apart while writing, causing the spring and cartridge to fall out! Very frustrating for an otherwise great product!!!
I'm pretty sure your pen is "brushed chrome" and not brushed aluminum. These are nice as they are already "scratched up". 🤣
Awesome idea. Very helpful information. Thanks so much for sharing. Have an amazing weekend. 60 likes 💡 👍

After doing like this , but it does not work
I refilled my marker first time but,but when i refilled it the ink leaks inside the protecter NOT OUTSIDE but how do i fix it?
Not sure if you'll answer this since it's been a year. I had a document camera that would show my books, but it would also allow me to show myself with my computer camera so the students could see it was their teacher. I think this product should do it, but would like to see that feature modeled. Is it the document camera or the computer software that allows that? My microsoft clipchamp computer will only allow me to show myself if I'm using the screen and camera. I have an IPEVO VZ-R, but not seeing this capability in it either.
Apologies for the delay! In order to show two cameras from your computer, you can open the camera app on your desktop and then share your desktop image which will then show both you and the document camera. Give it a try and let me know if it works out!
