Since getting into SimRacing around 6 years ago I quickly found that SimRacing not only became a passion of mine but also became an escape. An escape from the fast paced world we live in. I very much see myself as a student in SimRacing. Continuously improving. Striving to do better and drive better today than I did yesterday. There’s something about being able to drive any car at any track at almost any moment in history that you just can’t experience with anything else.

If you use the oculus tray tool instead of the debug tool, you can save profiles for each game which will then load automatically when you boot the corresponding game.

I dont understand why people keep saying you need to wear gloves with alcantara. You know you can wash it right? Alcantara can be restored from gross to brand new with a simple cleaning, i have done it myself. Its not even that hard, just get some fairy soap and a wet microfiber cloth and scrub it. Doing this doesnt damage the alcantara. Dont believe me just watch the many videos online on people restoring alcantara wheels.
There’s several reasons to wear gloves and one of them is to keep the wheel clean. I’d personally rather keep it clean and wear gloves for all of those reasons than spend time washing the wheels 👍🏻

I don’t see sol fig on my Python apps screen, I’ve enabled the 2 on top but only have chat & g meter for activated apps

I got issue that the car is not moveing but wheel is and engine works
Had the same problem today with my thrustmaster t300. Problem was that i had to re-learn all functions (gas, break, clutch and shifters) in the configuration. After that it worked fine.

What no one is talking about is how do you edit steering wheel assignments for menu navigation. On my G1 23 because it already had endgame presets. It was the X button to accept or move forward through the menu.
Raceroom was a great starting point once i got my wheel. It works well in vr and is very customer friendly. Of course sadly it really needs help with its population but i think we are spread very thin over some very good sims

After 5 years on consoles I upgraded to PC and a DD base. Adjusted quickly to the new hardware but console racing was much more plug and play but you also just got what u go with no mods. Will set mine up like this minus the subscriptions as Im not bougie). Then its onto working my way up the LFM ladder. Thanks!

why does it say Can’t save AC settings: Access to the path is denied. Make sure app has access to cfg folder every time I try to set a preset
That sounds like a permissions issue with where it’s trying to save to

Sorry, but this guide is flawed. I recommend to find other videos. I got a bunch of things that weren't working, similar to other comments here. This is definitely not the ULTIMATE guide.
What is not working for you exactly?
@@thesimracingshaolinstudent Your video has a couple of missing points that's gonna' be confusing to us beginners. One of these was at 11:52, you asked us to check Sol applications, you also used Sol Planner for the weather configurations towards the end. But you'd have to INSTALL THEM FIRST for them to be there which wasn't included in this video. You installed Pure instead. Very misleading. That's why you have comments here that they can't find/use Sol.
@@wowenzI am using this game for 3 years now and I have tried to keep up with the many updates ans improvements. Now I'm finally mastering it to work properly... BUT what NO ONE is saying is this: if you paid to get rain, you're stuck to that version of CSP... unless you keep paying to have rain Every. Single. Time
@@RodrigoOliveira-tb7zf thankfully I was able to make it rain without having to pay anything, except for the full version of content manager.

I think up to like 8nm it’s ok but if u got a crazy powerful wheelbase, ur wrists are gone

Hi. Can i ask the difference between full screen and windowed? On VR is better Windowed and on single screen full screen?
