  Thank you for this video, it was just what I needed to install my mini 2 into my mach-e. Very helpful I was so scared of breaking those clips but all worked out. It took me a min to get the cords nice and neat, but all in all super easy. 🙌🙌😊

  Mine was slightly different and had fallen off…windshield was replaced a few months ago and figure they didn’t hook it on properly. But your video was perfect for me to figure out how to reattach it. Thank you so much!

  great question... I assume I have the normal one because I don't remember seeing this option. To be honest, the cable is a touch short and it does kind of get in the way, especially if I mount it on the passenger side. I guess I wouldn't mind purchasing the longer one as well, to have options.

  you dont necessarily need to reach the hooks... I would recommend jamming fingers in there anywhere towards the middle...distributing the force evenly to prevent snapping anything while you pull *firmly* but slowly like demonstrated

  Hey ik heb een vraagje ik heb de zelfde dashcam gekocht. En een voeding kabel gekocht vanaf de OBD poort naar de camera. Nu is mijn vraag als ik auto uit zet blijft die filmen best wel tijdje filmt sie de hele 24 uur door? Of hoe kan je hem instellen op bewakings of parkeer stand

  Great video! Thanks for helping me discover the dongar product as I have been searching for a way to power a small low power usb device only when my mach-e is 'engine on' as part of my home automation, and this will do the trick so much nicer than trying to tap into a fuse. Just wondering now if the output voltage on the USB ports is USB level 5v or car battery 12v... Hoping that it drops the voltage to USB voltage as it's supplied with USB cabling, and supplying 12v to a device that is made with a USB cable could be a way to let the 'magic smoke' out of the box!

  On the NFlightCam site, you need "SKU 430" cable. Then you need the USB-C to audio adapter for the insta360 "Insta360 X3 Mic Adapter", assuming you have Insta360 X3.
