  @@EctoplasmIncorporated unfortunately I've encountered a few over the years but most of the real sneaky cheaters are doing it while being completely undetectable with subtle scripts enhancing sword wind up etc. I literally stopped playing Chivalry a couple of months ago to take a break, not sure what state the game lies in now.

  @@thunderboltvintage2084 Yeah its easy to forget Torn Banner is only a 150 man team give or take, they used to be 65 strong but doubled in size after the Embracer takeover at their publisher Tripwire. It seems all the instabilities we experience on console are here to stay as their away fully working on their next game 'No More Room In Hell 2' which is also sadly only on pc. Sad times for Chivalry fans.

  This game is awesome! These bike levels are pure adrenaline, but you really need to play Turbo Killer on a loop when riding your bike.

  @@docArr666 The last update for GR2 coming in September I believe contains a new mode called Endless Moto Mode. Most likely pure bike survival which sounds epic!

  whenever there is a cheat, either chivalry2, enlisted, etc, there is always someone from china. why the communist party always allow this behaviour? i heard the cheat is only 1 bucks there. so when they got caught, they dont mind. but it ruined the whole game.

  I can't remember the name off the top of my head but they came with a sweet sword skin for pre ordering the Brutal edition of the game. Sadly it was the only way to acquire them and there's been no way since to unlock them any other way.

  The bad thing in the console is that we can rebynd the bottons like pc does, I mean I know we can change in ps5 system must I talk about the bottoms of 2 actions like stab and crouch, it’s not cool in the gameplay. They should add to the game this option and throw weapons be a pressed comand. Do you like the aim assist? Good video

  Cheers bro, yeah the console community has been asking for custom button binding since 2021.. it's never coming. Sadly we're stuck with what we've got I'm afraid. As for the aim assist it's ok, I don't feel it harms things in terms of balance in a game that is far from balanced.

  Hey bro, yeah my apologies I've been taking a break from Chivalry so not been producing these long cinematic pieces. I was burnt out of both playing the game with all it's issues and cheaters and needed a break to enjoy other games on my backlog. I haven't even tried the new Regicide update yet! 🤣 Will likely check it out soon and maybe I'll get the urge to create another cinematic Chivalry video

  Great suggestion bro, I got that day of release and had the platinum inside the first 2 weeks.. absolutely brilliant game, check out my Helldivers content.. got a couple of vids on the channel if you're interested. I haven't played in a while as I've been working through my backlog, at the very least I haven't played Chivalry 2 for the last month plus. Enjoying time away.

  @@lifemeetlife You will have permadeath so every death will force you to restart I think like you described originally. Just boot up the game and select to play the story, hardcore mode is clearly listed I'm struggling to understand where you're going wrong bro.

  After playing this game for a long time (current lv 237), I can tell which players are playing legit and which players are using "speed modifications" (faster swinging/blocking). Some sessions I can go hours without running into any but other sessions like today I found 1 in EVERY GAME I JOINED! Only on the weekday mornings I guess....really wish they had better anticheat like Bungie...

  True story bro, tell that to all the people on denial that there's cheaters in Chivalry. It is a problem, there's many folk abusing stuff on pc subtely and it's not being picked up. I've clocked over 1000hrs and I know straight away when something don't feel right, I play this game less and less as a result. Sad times.

  Yeah the emotes on console can be very random, you have a rough subject matter you select but what actually comes out of your mouth is taken from a selection of lines at random. It just so happens that came out in the moment, things like that have happened in a bunch of my content to eerie levels. The AI knows... 🤣

  Yeah bro there's still a loyal community who are dedicated to Chivalry 2. You do see the same folk online a lot so the player base is a fraction of what it used to be but it's not dead yet bro!

  If they got rid of cross play, the game would completely die. It's as simple as that. I have 170 hours in the game, and I don't think I've encountered one cheater. The most annoying thing to me is every good player in the lobby always switching to the same team, every game. Even now, with "auto-balancing" people can still go to spectate and then pick whatever team they want. THAT ruins it for me. Not the occasional cheater which I haven't even seen once in almost 200 hours.

  You're lucky to not encounter ANY kind of cheater in 200hrs! You'd be surprised how many pc players run subtle cheat scripts which aids their movement and blocking etc there's enough evidence out there at this point, there's even KZreadr's whose entire channels is dedicated to cheating in Chivalry. I understand what you're saying but if the game was to die for switching off crossplay then that is solely down to Torn Banner and their inability to balance and retain a playerbase on console. If they treated us console players with a little bit more respect we would have button binding etc to help level the playing field but the truth is they 100% primarily focus on keeping the pc crowd happy first and foremost. Us console players feel like an after thought hence so many console players have already quit playing.. the gameplay is balanced entirely in favour of pc players and their £3000 rigs that we cannot compete with. Granted I class myself in a higher tier of player on console hence the channel but the vast majority of console players simply quit when they realised 95% of the lobby are flying round at more than double our framerates with full k&m manipulated movements that you cannot replicate on a controller nor counter a lot of the time. On top of that they seem to hold hands a lot and stick together probably because they have an in game chat to easily organise themselves again console players don't have that feature... on top of all this as you say they then ALL switch to the same team!! Then even worse some are literally f*cking cheating like I've shown in the video.. this has ALL killed the game for console players! I know dozens of folk who quit for all these reasons and many more In comments on the channel detailing their experiences. There needs to be a solution for Chivalry 3 otherwise that game will suffer the exact same fate.

  @@mirlovak I would imagine at this point there's likely cheat scripts available for many ways to subtly cheat undetectable at a glance, these things exist on every game on pc and folk sadly abuse them. Case and point being the current climate of online multiplayer games, ever since crossplay with pc became the norm console lobbies are riddled with cheaters to the point where a lot of console players are either quitting full stop, attempting to cheat too to level the playing field or just generally having a permanently horrible experience online. While cross play definitely has its benefits it's so sad that in reality all its done is ruin console multiplayer.

  crouch and swing 180 degrees and before it's over defend and attack in the other direction. but this requires a third person and is difficult on ps5 because the developers have fxxxx up with the joystick commands

  Yeah we don't have the luxury of button mapping so its an uphill struggle against pc players not to mention I challenged myself by staying in 1st person! Chivalry is far too easy in 3rd person!

  People like to cry aim assist, but as a console player, I feel like the aim assist is more a hinderance. I might just need to play more and learn it, but it drags so much on people I’m not targeting, and messes me up, and it feels very very janky in general. I might turn it off and play without it for a while and see how it goes.

  Precisely bro, it's all too easy when you're not a console player to see archery and cry aim assist but to actually be consistently successful with the bow is not easy. The aim assist is wonky, the hit detection is inconsistent, there's input lag, general lag and we're playing against pc players running around at more than double our frame rates.. we can't even get button mapping. But they still all cry aim assist 🥱

To make things worse even (lol) i heard they restricted the private servers to exclusive server providers and they TBS have control over them ..ie bans etc .over even you the paying customer on your own damn server....

  Cheating should be considered a crime punishable by law. You bought a product with your hard-earned money and because of cheaters you can't enjoy your purchase. It's almost comparable to a stranger spitting in your meal while you are in a restaurant.

  Modern multiplayer gaming is rotten to the core with cheaters bro, at this point its out of control and smaller dev teams just don't have the resources required to combat the issue effectively. The cheat software industry is a multi million dollar if not billion dollar enterprise at this point, small indy titles like Chivalry don't stand a chance.
