Dueling a Spammer in Chivalry 2! ⚔️ (PS5)

Ойындар

There's many kinds of players in Chivalry 2 and sometimes when you enter the duel playlist you find yourself matched against someone who opts to spam repeated move sets to abuse certain animations and attack patterns. Such as this guy that chose to spam special attack and kick in order to stun lock me, he wasn't ready to face a console veteran.

Very true my friend but when you repeatedly rely on the same game mechanics to stun lock the opponents it is described as spamming where I'm from. Not to mention I've gotta get you guys to click on the video somehow right 😅🤷🏻

I think spamming emotes like a douchebag is far more toxic than spamming the same move. Also he changed it up and still beat you at times.

Spamming the special attack and kicks is pretty toxic, granted I didn't fall for that shit but how many lower level players has he frustrated by abusing that technique.. I'd imagine countless. Regardless he did still get the upper hand simetimes as you say because i choose to play with honour. I have no shame in keeping lost rounds in the video, ultimately in the end a lesson was taught. Also me labelling the video in such a way helps with views bro, he wasnt too bad ive seen and faced far worse spammers. Thanks for interacting with the video bro, I appreciate it 🫡

How was spamming the same moves toxic? I'm sorry, but I do believe that you are being a bit ridiculous with the term toxic. What I saw was a player who was not very experienced with the games mechanics and stuck with what they know. They will eventually learn and progress through their skills, but you calling them toxic for spamming What they know is NOT toxic. You on the other hand were actually the toxic one in this situation. You progressively toyed with him when he was ar most vulnerable, you constantly use emotes and voice lines that was intended to arouse your opponent, you were also constantly laughing when he took damage. I apologize for calling you out, but its something you must learn to actually be more humble towards players in the future.

@@colonelscoobs1541 Excuse me good sir I could of ended him in a second on multiple occasions but I chose to give him multiple opportunities to come back so he would learn another way than just kick stun special attack spam. I was not toying but trying to teach, I guess it's all perspective and you see it your way.

Watched you awhile, and love your content! So please don't take this as shade because you're decent at the game! But just to offer some friendly advice from someone with way too many hours stabbing those heathen Masons. I've noticed that you tend to keep the other player in the center of your screen, which is a common practice because you want to keep your eyes on the player like the rest of us, but because of how the combat works, this means it can be easy for some players to hit around your block or easily fool you with drags and heavies. This is a bit more tricky to feel comfortable doing in 1st person but not impossible by any means. I've personally found that looking more toward the tip of their weapon will help you block more, especially with those heavy attacks, even when it means temporarily looking away from the player and putting them in the corner of your screen. Obviously counters are great and integral to higher tier play, but blocking the damage first does a ton to preserve you for longer bouts in a battle. And this can be what makes or breaks a round. Good duel and you might just win the war for Agatha!

Thanks bro, no shade whatsoever I appreciate constructive advice. I don't play a lot of duels and have barely played Chivalry at all the last few months so I'm certainly rusty as it is, you make a fair point bro I'm not sure if that's something I do without realising or intentionally I guess it's just the way i play. Thankfully I still do alright 😅

@@WolfBornePlaysI got tired with TO early on in my stabbing career and played duels almost exclusively for awhile before learning to enjoy (marginally) TO again. There is a lot to like AND hate about duel servers, especially since the new update, but don't sell yourself short, you still got the win and that's what matters! if I see you on and around I'll try to come say hi and give you some more tips/ practice! Keep up the great work!🤙

I was drawing attention to his continous spam of special attack and kick to stun lock. I was emoting throughout whilst I attempted to teach him a different way as that doesn't work on veterans. If you have issues with emotes then Chivalry is not for you, half the game is emoting and encouraging spectacle during combat. This was by no means a sweaty Duel just some casual matchmaking why is everyone so damn serious?! At the end of the day folk literally only clicked on this video because of the title, so my tactic worked. Now chill out, the only douche is the one you see in the mirror.
