That's a great analogy bro, I completely agree. Even worse when the game companies don't protect their paying customers and turn a blind eye, in Activision's case they literally sponsor and promote cheating streamers 🤯

Thanks for making this video. I've experienced cheaters for a long time now. These ones are just the obvious ones as they haven't adjusted the speed hack properly, as in they haven't fine tuned it. The cheaters who do are much harder to spot. These speed cheats are being given away free by some cheaters. Also it can be done using cheat engine. Easy Anti-Cheat is also able to be bypassed easily. If you report a cheater Torn Banner will ignore you. And the in game cheat report mechanic does nothing. It is there to shut us up. PC PVP is dead. Console isn't much better due to Cronus etc. Multiplayer gaming is dying fast because the game developers and publishers refuse to stop it. It is very depressing. I play games to escape the troubles of the world and now I have no outlet for that. I'm sure i'm not alone in this. By the way, a rented server for Chivalry doesn't allow XP to be earned. Or is it gold? Either way, most aren't renting them.

You sadly speak truth my friend, I've been feeling this for years. Gaming is a cesspool of cheaters these days, so many people cutting corners with third party tech etc even on console it's gotten out of hand. And it's all being peddled by the streamers, so many of them are white listed so they won't get banned as they generate traffic and publicity for said game through Twitch. Activision have been protecting hackers and cheaters for years, most of the top cod streamers are 100% running some kind of hacks or software, there's lots of YT channels out there with evidence to support this. It's such a sad time. It's a losing battle of resources to stop them, real anti cheat on the high end costs a lot to create and every day hackers are finding work arounds so it's a never ending pit of money required hence a lot of game companies simply don't bother with real anti cheat. For these reasons I would no longer like crossplay with pc, they can't guarantee us a cheat free experience otherwise so it's the only way forward at this point.

Theres tons of subtle cheaters on PC. Omniblocking, swinging after hit, swinging out of order, movement warping and it's always the same ppl. Also the ones who are first to tell you theres no cheats for Chiv 2 haha

Exactly bro, you're 100% correct. I constantly encounter pc players who seemingly are able to somehow block attacks from behind whilst they're in the middle of other animations. It's impossible but subtle enough that it doesn't stand out while making them incredibly difficult to defeat for console players. It's pathetic and at this point I want crossplay with pc completely removed for Chivalry 3. I've had enough.

​​@@WolfBornePlays Step in after they slash with riposte-slash-overhead feint attacks behind the guard. Its not foolproof but works for me most times mate. Ive thankfully only ran into a few guys like this one. Using a fast one handed weapon can do wonders too but leaves you open to ganks and teamers lol i can meet you in game to practice if you like. Right, crossplay with pc is just no longer fun for me anymore.. playing at the high end it gets tedious we just have too many disadvantages in balance and control we should at least have the option to disable it. Any self respecting 'good' game has that option. Now in Chivalry the devs don't even protect us from cheaters it's unbearable to say the least!

theres a well known chiv 2 player who blatantly post cheating videos on youtube and he admittedly said that he knows someone from torn banner and they know that he cheats but theyre not going to do anything about it. he said that on one of his videos.

Either way it's the devs responsibility to ensure their consumer base has a working product that isn't being ruined by cheaters, Torn Banner need to do better.

@@EctoplasmIncorporated unfortunately I've encountered a few over the years but most of the real sneaky cheaters are doing it while being completely undetectable with subtle scripts enhancing sword wind up etc. I literally stopped playing Chivalry a couple of months ago to take a break, not sure what state the game lies in now.

Yeah it's really sad the state of the game right now. There is even a youtuber called: Mr Weenie that his entire youtube content is about "trolling" and cheating on Chivalry 2. He gets banned but just creates a new account. So sad

@@WolfBornePlays It has a healthy playerbase atm, there's usually always multiple servers heftily populated. And I haven't encountered any cheaters. I'd advise making the change, because TB is going nowhere fast.

If they got rid of cross play, the game would completely die. It's as simple as that. I have 170 hours in the game, and I don't think I've encountered one cheater. The most annoying thing to me is every good player in the lobby always switching to the same team, every game. Even now, with "auto-balancing" people can still go to spectate and then pick whatever team they want. THAT ruins it for me. Not the occasional cheater which I haven't even seen once in almost 200 hours.

You're lucky to not encounter ANY kind of cheater in 200hrs! You'd be surprised how many pc players run subtle cheat scripts which aids their movement and blocking etc there's enough evidence out there at this point, there's even KZreadr's whose entire channels is dedicated to cheating in Chivalry. I understand what you're saying but if the game was to die for switching off crossplay then that is solely down to Torn Banner and their inability to balance and retain a playerbase on console. If they treated us console players with a little bit more respect we would have button binding etc to help level the playing field but the truth is they 100% primarily focus on keeping the pc crowd happy first and foremost. Us console players feel like an after thought hence so many console players have already quit playing.. the gameplay is balanced entirely in favour of pc players and their £3000 rigs that we cannot compete with. Granted I class myself in a higher tier of player on console hence the channel but the vast majority of console players simply quit when they realised 95% of the lobby are flying round at more than double our framerates with full k&m manipulated movements that you cannot replicate on a controller nor counter a lot of the time. On top of that they seem to hold hands a lot and stick together probably because they have an in game chat to easily organise themselves again console players don't have that feature... on top of all this as you say they then ALL switch to the same team!! Then even worse some are literally f*cking cheating like I've shown in the video.. this has ALL killed the game for console players! I know dozens of folk who quit for all these reasons and many more In comments on the channel detailing their experiences. There needs to be a solution for Chivalry 3 otherwise that game will suffer the exact same fate.

@@mirlovak I would imagine at this point there's likely cheat scripts available for many ways to subtly cheat undetectable at a glance, these things exist on every game on pc and folk sadly abuse them. Case and point being the current climate of online multiplayer games, ever since crossplay with pc became the norm console lobbies are riddled with cheaters to the point where a lot of console players are either quitting full stop, attempting to cheat too to level the playing field or just generally having a permanently horrible experience online. While cross play definitely has its benefits it's so sad that in reality all its done is ruin console multiplayer.

Now, after that needless brag, ive not seen a single person i was sure was cheating. Im surprised cheats were made for this game, i didnt think it was big enough. But Chivalry is my favourite game since war of the roses and im glad your still making videos about it. Keep up the good work.

This is also medieval genre so archer is a perfectly viable playstyle, anyone who argues otherwise is just one dimensional and not experienced in ALL aspects of the game. I've been playing for more than three decades and I've never encountered so many cheaters across a multitude of titles over the last few years it's getting worse. When they're cheating in non competitive games that are already unbalanced in favour of their platform like Chivalry it makes me want to quit multiplayer games. It's infested with these losers!

@@WolfBornePlays Yeah, the same with Red dead online. It's used to be my favorit game, but now it's just full of PC Cheaters, spawing Npc's that will kill you, teleporting over and over, or using aimbots. I hope in future it will get better but I'm not sure😕

I heard cheaters are really bad in the EU servers, is that what you play on? Here in NA its not so bad, at least from my experience. Also I guess since this video they did introduce EasyAntiCheat but I’m sure there are multiple ways to get around it.

Since this video I'm enjoying a break from the game but folk have mentioned they still encounter cheaters even now, I would love to play on NA servers but if I do I have to wrestle with a 100+ping and that is not ideal in any game especially Chivalry console. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever truly get rid of cheaters regardless of game, they always find a way 😔 Have a great day bro! ✌🏻

@@thunderboltvintage2084 Yeah its easy to forget Torn Banner is only a 150 man team give or take, they used to be 65 strong but doubled in size after the Embracer takeover at their publisher Tripwire. It seems all the instabilities we experience on console are here to stay as their away fully working on their next game 'No More Room In Hell 2' which is also sadly only on pc. Sad times for Chivalry fans.

They are in every game now. I no longer get mad when I see cheaters like this. At least they’re honest with their intention and I can try find another server. The worst are the much larger population of sneaky cheaters who want a subtle advantage and illusion of being good. They are the real cancer. Their has always been trolls like this asshat but at least he also puts the subtle cheaters in their place. I’ve quit pretty much all pvp games at this stage. I think one of the reasons helldiver 2 has been so successful is it’s co-op therefore cheating hasn’t ruined the game experience.

You're not wrong, modern gaming is saturated with cheaters and players using third party tech/software it's ruining pvp for most players to the point of quitting pvp altogether. I'm slowly getting into that boat too, I don't play half of what I used to due to just being fed up with the current landscape. I've been playing pvp games since they were invented and the state things are in now it's really really sad, I never thought there'd be that many losers willing to cheat but they seem to multiply year on year.

I'm also playing older games quite a bit when the mood takes me but I am steering away from multiplayer completely. Frustration is only waiting if you're an honest player... It's just overrun now.

I LOVED this game for the longest time. So it kills me that I can't play it anymore. After 500 hours between platforms, but primarily on PC, I'm done. I'm sick of the toxic community and every single time I try playing, my session ends with me quitting with a bad taste in my mouth. There is no accountability or respect or justice, it doesn't get better and the devs basically piss all over us. I'm going to go play a game worth my time and will help me have fun instead of pulling my hair out.

I just sometimes troll the game but never cheat, I have been in a 1v1 lobby in EU before and there were multiple people speeding around, there apparently is a hacker clan there called VEN and they have gang wars in soical/1v1 lobbies with CC which also have their own cheaters

This saddens me deeply. I suppose if they're truly incapable of playing games fairly then at least they can all go in their own lobby and cheat amongst themselves. The moment they cross over into public lobbies they deserve bans. Modern gaming is really suffering because of people like this, honest competition and integrity is all but lost on these younger generations it seems.. things never used to be this bad but regardless of game theirs a community of cheaters now ruining everyone else's experience.

Its a real shame. Havent been back on Chiv in a while because im just so deflated at how poor of an excuse of company TB are. Glaring problems from launch and aye, absolutely shaft the console players. Dealt with a cheater or 2 when I played but it seems it has definitely gotten worse.

Yeah ever since the most recent update and the addition of private servers for purchase I'm seeing an up tick in cheaters.. it's uncanny timing. Torn Banner seem to have forsaken Chiv 2 at this point I believe they're fully in development for Chiv 3! Console players have been neglected since day one, the evidence is undeniable.

It’s not that turning off crossplay doesn’t work it’s just that the default is to have it on. And by turning it off you are alienating yourself from the rest of the world essentially because nobody (most people) leave it on or don’t think to turn it off. And the people that do can’t find lobby’s because of this.

Modern multiplayer gaming is rotten to the core with cheaters bro, at this point its out of control and smaller dev teams just don't have the resources required to combat the issue effectively. The cheat software industry is a multi million dollar if not billion dollar enterprise at this point, small indy titles like Chivalry don't stand a chance.

Certain cheats could possibly give more pleasure to play (even if I haven't used them since the PlayStation 1...) but there... I don't see what pleasure I would take, in truth I would get bored quickly game at this pace ^^'

If you're in a single player game there might be a conversation to be had but if you're in an online game and you're cheating you should be banned from online gaming full stop. As they said in pre school when we were children, if you can't play nice with others then you have to play on your own. It's a simple rule of thumb, respect your competitors and they respect you... this is getting lost by the day with the younger generation. I've been gaming for more than three decades and things are worse than ever in the space it's pretty sad to see, too many people are willing to take shortcuts ... now onljne gaming is partly a frustrating experience rather than a pleasurable hobby.

the craziest part about all of this is that PC gamepass players don't even have to pay for cheats, they can make their own with ease.

@@MedievalHunter Right! We really need the 'disable crossplay' feature to work, atleast for a little while. I've literally never EVER played Chivalry with just my console brethren in 3 years it's been a constant unbalanced pc sweat fest which is what has forced a lot of console players to quit. Now they're cheating too 🤦🏻

@@MedievalHunter Agreed bro, unfortunately the weakness that exists in humans to perpetually seek more and more satisfaction even at the expense of others is something that exceeds all our expectations. Whether it's politicians, oligarchs, secret institutions, military industrial complex or players in videogames humans are gonna take shortcuts to ensure they get what they want. Whether that means the destruction of the environment, insane wealth while everyone else struggles in poverty or cheating in videogames. It's the same selfish gene from the same kind of people as far as I'm concerned. A few ruin it for the many. Sadly I don't see a change on the horizon, too many of these folk are profiting for any kind of change to come.. we live in sad times bro.

@@DD-zh4by Played Mordhau console at launch, it was practically dead after a week. The times I was available to play on EU servers I couldn't get a lobby of more than 5 people so I went back to Chivalry.

I can't switch back to Xbox just for Chivalry bro, I actually came back to Playstation from xbox at the release of the ps4 because Microsoft forgot how to make good games. I've never looked back since, Microsoft gave me zero reason to own their console anymore as the game pass was designed for casuals and everything was motivated towards live service games, they destroyed all of their unique franchises and continue to lie to their customers. They barely even make games anymore just new ways to scam folk out of buying more hardware that won't have any games released on it. That's Microsoft to me for the last 8 years, it's a real shame but the industry facts don't lie and the data is out there. Chivalry 3 has its own deep routed issues regardless bro, the devs don't care enough about the console playerbase.. the game is available on console but they cater 100% to the pc community. Torn Banners action's over the last 3 years prove this, not a lot to be done these days just gotta ride the wave and hope there's an alternative game or Chivalry 3 addresses what is inherently wrong with Chiv 2. 🤷🏻

Firstly I never blamed pc players for anything, you chose to come to that conclusion yourself. I stated 'SOME'' pc players are cheating.. which is undeniably true. Secondly for you to suggest the answer to the problem of cheating in gaming is to go and buy a pc tells me you're simply not educated enough on this topic. This is an incorrect mentality on the subject bro, cheating exists on all platforms and is ruining modern gaming for a lot of people. The solution would be to hold publishers/studios accountable for their online game. It's their responsibility to protect their customers otherwise they shouldn't be in the space. Weak people will always cut corners and find quick ways to get what they want at the expense of others it's human nature but its never going away in the gaming space if we don't fight the issue. There's lots of KZread channels dedicated to exposing the cheating in modern gaming and the rabbit hole is deep, the proof is irrefutable and worse even folk like yourself will just disregard the whole issue and say "just go buy a pc". Like spending thousands on a new setup just to enjoy a game supposedly without cheaters is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while, but that's just my opinion.

cheater here. im easily in the top 20 of my region in ffa lobbies im always on the screen. i recently found myself suffering abuse from other players as they would gang up on me and either force me to find another lobby or kick me. so the other night i downloaded cheats.. for free. you can do a google search and install some or you can find a youtuber who will send you the cheat file. ANYWAY the point is i did not get in to hacking because i am bad its the oppisite, i was on wiping noobs in ffa's therefore leading to me getting abused, i was not gonna stand for that i originally bought the cheats in hopes to kick them but it cant do that its just a speed hack fly hack speed swing etc.

Bro... as far as I'm concerned you cheated too. We all get abused in games, sometimes by cheaters but to lower yourself to their level and risk an account ban is crazy. I'm fairly decent and competitive at all games but I will never cheat nor understand the mentality of cheating bro, I'm sorry. Multiplayer gaming is a cesspool of cheaters and trolls these days regardless of the game, if folk like yourself fall victim to the plague too then it's a viscous cycle that will never end. Sad times.

@@WolfBornePlays well tbf this is the first game ve haacked in because io wanted to chill and go unbothered in ffa servers as in just stand around and smoke my bong while watching people fight, but if a 3 man wants to constantly harrass me by killing me then tbagging me and laughing while vote kicking me. im sorry but thats where i call the line, to me chiv 2 is like virtual reality i will go in there to sit around and have fun not cause trouble i just dont wanna be killed randomly. i completely understand your point im so sorry and feel so bad lmao because youre so right i shouldnt have stooped to their level but im down here now and i cant get back out

no one cares

After playing this game for a long time (current lv 237), I can tell which players are playing legit and which players are using "speed modifications" (faster swinging/blocking). Some sessions I can go hours without running into any but other sessions like today I found 1 in EVERY GAME I JOINED! Only on the weekday mornings I guess....really wish they had better anticheat like Bungie...

True story bro, tell that to all the people on denial that there's cheaters in Chivalry. It is a problem, there's many folk abusing stuff on pc subtely and it's not being picked up. I've clocked over 1000hrs and I know straight away when something don't feel right, I play this game less and less as a result. Sad times.
