Gifted is excellent, also bloody mess if you like it messy! high intelligence and percpetion are key! charisma and luck are good, others are secondary to me for the fuller experience go with the stuff that gets you information great thing about this is it is worthwhile to play again, you probably already missed a few things in the cave (high perception!)

speech, science, energy weapons! because they are cool, and versatile, and good damage ( : stats are good to switch a bit to boost the skills you'll figure it out cool you're so into it!

you might like both Torment games! also check out: Fallout 2, of course! Fallout 3 and onward are shallow shadows made to sell rather than be good games - no offense intended, it's just true how things went downhill post 2000 mostly

Fallout 1 , 2 and New Vegas are one of the better games to treat as actual source material for this setting. Bethesdas interpetation and Amazons interpetation of their interpetation is a confused mess built out of taking what looks cool, putting it where it makes no sense at all and writing stories that even contradict.

To go wherever I want instead of wherever I need is my play style. If you ask me, it's way more interesting to start a game and find your own way, especially in a true RPG like Fallout 1-2 that allows that, also, it's way more entertaining than watching another start from Shady sands.

Not only vigor. strength and endurance are also very good stats early because strength makes you Stagger less and boosts defense. Same with endurance

Your Vigor is a bit low for Stormveil. Best to level vigor first and often to keep up with the increasingly punishing enemies. Level Vigor + Upgrade weapons makes the most impact early.

Great vid will definitely check out the rest. I actually started Fallout with 3 and even then Fallout 1 ended up being my favourite. It has a lot of issues with its design but to me it's just such a neat and focused package. It has easily the best atmosphere out of all of them. 2 is often considered the better one but I honestly far prefer 1, 2 tries way too hard to be funny with all the reference based humour, it feels a lot less focused on its own world that way.

Usually any quest in this game has multiple ways to complete it, or you can always just not follow through, so it's generally reasonable to accept most quests and just see where they lead you or ultimately just not pursue them if you change your mind.

if you like the shotgun but want more shots before relaoding, buy a a comabt shotgun. Also comabt armor will help a lot with dyign less, so would power armor. I am pretty sure one of the hub merchants sell comabt armor and/or combat shotgun if I rememebr correctly. If you want power armor, you need to get in good with the brotherhood. I recomend taking a caravan there for the extra caps

the shotgun is still a small gun. Big guns are like minigun, flamer, and missile launcher. All normal pistols and rifles are small guns, energy weapons are all laser and plasma pistols and rifles

if you right click you can change the fire mode of your weapons, and one of the options is reload. This can be doen out fo combat. In combat it takes 2AP, where if you open your inventory to reload it takes 4
