HI YOU TUBERS my channel is about building a model railway based on the north east of England. where i am from originally. The layout is built in oo gauge Sale. with a main line circuit and a branch going to my old home town station of south shields. also on the channel there will have some rare music from the fifties & sixties. there's also some videos taking from the jukebox. and any thing else that may be of interest you. THANKS FOR WATCHING.

Hi Tony! If only moving house was so easy in real life! :) I wasn't following you when you did the original build with the cobblestones, so it was interesting to see how you'd underpinned them with lollipop sticks! My plan with Shelfington, if I ever get onto actually adding buildings, is not to glue them down, but rather utilise magnets and small metal plates to fix them in place! That way I should be able to move them around more easily if and when required! Always a pleasure to see how you work Tony! All the best, Ian.
Hi Ian, the lolly pop stick were used to get the height to meet the top of rails. seems an age since our last video. i am spending so much time like yourself going out and about. although i am not moving house. as it would be very time consuming to re-build the north eastern layout again. cheer's for now my friend. Tony.
2:08 was that a 1937 lner tynside electric unit motor sound
The sound mostly came from a steam engine. a class B1. that sound was probably the steam letting of from exhaust. thank you for commenting, as they are very much appreciated. thanks again Tony.
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN also why was there no sounds recorded from the tynside electrics
I did not have the sounds available at the time the video was published. i hope this helps. cheer's Tony.
Absolutely smashing Tony!
Cheer's Ross. it is one of my most favourite buildings. cheer's for now Tony.
Too bad my mobile phone doesn't have "smellivision". Then I could of smelled the steam. I do love the smell of oil burning Shay Locos. Bill and Janet from California
Give it another decade and who knows what we could do with our mobile phones, maybe transport ourselves around the world for free. .cheer's for now Tony.
@TONYNORTHEASTERN That will be great for Janet and I to be transported to England. That will allow us to visit you and Laura as well as hertiage railways. Bill and Janet from California
Another brilliant Video Tony
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for commenting. cheer's for now Tony.
Hi Tony, neat video, always good to support these railways, enjoyed the trip You've used that piece of music several times down the years and just wondering what it's called and who played it, cheers
Glad you enjoyed the video. the music is free from windows movie maker 2010. i am not sure what its called. i dony know if its still available. its worth searching for the down load. until next time stay safe cheer's Tony.
I am enjoying this series of videos of yours on the new station build. Very interesting how you make the buildings and details.
Thank you very much! and welcome aboard. i hope to catch up soon with a another episode. cheer's for now Tony.
Hi tony I hope you are well Looks like a nice day. I through you was in usa at 1st No commentary needed it was quite nice. Keep safe ARP
Thanks 👍Adi. we are all good and spending a lot of time and about. take care my friend Tony.
Hi Tony! I've skipped ahead to comment on this! :) Wish I'd known you were down in my neck of the woods as we could have gone for a coffee and chat! I love Exbury Gardens, and have spent many a happy hour there with my dad before he passed away! Spring and autumn are the best time to go as the gardens can be quite spectacular then! Hope you enjoyed the visit! All the best, Ian.
Hi Ian, thanks for the tip. i may take you up on that offer. thanks again for commenting. cheer's for now Tony.
Fantastic modelling… The alignment of the two rose windows is just spot on. Thanks for sharing, Ross (Far North Line)
Its been a while since i had a comment on this video. i remember having trouble with the alignment of the rose windows. as the building is curved. like you have said it came together alright in the end. many thanks for your comment. cheer's Tony.
How tedious. Apologies.
apologies accepted. take care my friend. cheer's for now Tony.
You’d love Romney,Hythe and Dymchurch Railway Tony,I’m lucky enough to live in the area .
Hi David. isn't it the longest miniature railway. i know it was made famous by Laurel & Hardy back in the day. its on my bucket list. cheer's for now Tony.
Relaxing stuff…and next….building South Shields in this scale? 😂
Hi Rick you set the target very high my friend. Lpl. cheer's for now Tony.
What a lovely railway and a very nice 10min viewing, very serene. After 30 years in the area we did Beauli and driven by but never noticed this gem! Goodness knows how we missed it, notice there is quite a bit of track work including the turntable so must have been around for many years. What a great day out, was this part of the special treat? All the best Stephen
Hello Stephen. the ride was 20 minutes long. i think it would have been a lot better in the spring with all the Rhododendrons in bloom. the railway has not been going that long. it was 2001 the railway built. and they did a great job making it look very authentic. take care my friend. Tony.
Thanks Tony, hello Mariloo - goodbye heart lol.
Hello there! Andy. love the comment. take care buddy. Tony.
How lovely Tony! Joachim
Hi Joachim. its been a great day out. cheer's for now Tony.
Good afternoon Tony what a great video looks like you have shown me somewhere else to go.
Nice ride, cool views, and a cool loco!
Looks like fun 👍🏻
A very nice way to enjoy a day in the sunshine mate.Arthur
Cheer's Arthur it was. i am beginning to like the new Forrest. cheer's for commenting. all the best Tony.
Hello Tony Tank you for the magnifique voyage in the gardent train. Where is the Park in england Bye of Normandie 27. Bertrand
Hello Bertrand. this railway is in the New Forrest in Hampshire. and its a beautiful area in the spring. thanks again for commenting. cheer's for now Tony.
Dear Tony, lovely train fanning reportage! Beautiful how the train meanders through the countryside. Very nice how the different vistas are populated with several statues, or statuesque forms of art. Considering those statues, was that a statue of Monty, at and around the Dragonfly Halt train stop? Cheerio
Thanks for this , Tony, no commentary was necessary and would have detractedfrom the enjoyment of the video.😃
Glad you enjoyed the video Ken. my thinking was to let the railway do the talking. cheer's for now Tony.
Very nice Tony, looked like a great day , always impressed how much these little engine could pull 😎😎😎
Tony. It's a Grand Day Out. Chris
I highly recommend this gods wonderful railway. take care Tony.
You won’t get one of those in the loft,😂
Very true. but it would be fun trying. lol....take care Tony.
Looks fun enjoy Tony!
Hi Deano. its a great little railway. cheer's for now Tony.
nice video, best regards😊
Thank you very much! and thankyou for stopping by....cheer's Tony.
Very nice mate. I'm impressed with how much that little loco can pull.
Hi John. i agree it was very surprising for Marylou to pull all those coaches. and it was a very full train, first of the day. cheerio for now all the best Tony.
Great video. Tony. Thanks for sharing. Roy.
Thanks for watching. cheerio for now Tony.
Good morning Tony! What a great little build! It's these small details that make your layout a real standout! Love the backstory too, with the individual characters being given relevant names! It all adds to the scene being set, and adds to the fun of watching you create it! All the best, Ian.
Good morning Ian. that's the fun with our model railways sometimes we get lost in them, by creating a mini world if that makes any sense. not only that its great fun to thing that the layout tells a story... take care my friend....Tony.
What is the name of Barra’s channel, could not find it?
Hi Mathew. please find the link below. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqmnrcWzpKncYNo.html cheer's for now Tony.
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN Thank you.
Morning Tony, sorry I'm late this week its been incredibly busy. That is some great progress again this week such a difference this building makes to the station complex. Loving the whole facade of the booking office, it is very effective and brings a huge amount of character to the station. Really like the way you built up the stone work, it's very effective. I always thought the architects and indeed the railway companies put a lot of effort into making their building look as impressive as they could, it wasn't all about saving money. With the letting picked out in gold, it adds a new dimension to the whole building. That other Tony doing the doors and windows in I'd quite good I'd give him a job if I was you. We were in Surrey this last week, and we had a visit to Kensington Palace, what a interesting day that was, spent a bit quality time with the grandkids and a bit of babysitting for them, it was a good week. Take care Tony and Laura, love from South Devon Eddy and Anne xxx
Hi Eddy. summer months are always very busy times, as we are finding ourselves going out more, and less time on the railway. Kensington Palace we had been there once, very expensive place. but it was well worth. we had visited the watercress line last week. spent most of the day dodging the rain. but it was very enjoyable. until next time take care. best wishes Tony & Laura.
Great video Tony, I have been trying to replicate some of your Ideas on my build of Thurso Station. If I knew how I’d send you some pictures. As I said on one of your previous videos, you are truly an inspiration to us lesser skilled mortals. Fantastic- looking forward to the next episode of your masterclass.
Hi Hambleton. please do send me send me some pictures. i have a face book page of the same name. thank you for your kind words. all the best Tony.
Wow, a nice TRAIN put together for sure🚂👍
Thank you. Beer on wheels is one of my favourites. cheer's Tony.
Hi Tony! The papier mache really took me back to when I was a kid! I remember working with my dad in Wellfield Shed, making hills using chicken wire and papier mache! They turned out incredibly strong, although it did result in quite a few bloody fingers after being cut by the chicken wire! Lol! I much prefer your paper / cardboard strip method to build a base! Cheers, Ian.
Hi Ian, Paper mache does work quite well. but next time i will use a glue gun to get started with the cardboard strips. then paper & PVA to cover over. i think this will be a lot easier. but yes chicken wire wood be a great alternative. many thanks again for commenting. cheer's Tony.
Been a couple of steam trips here in Australia, lots of fun, lol specially if you open windows in tunnels, lol do remember some girls having soot hand bras on there dresses , lol yep lots of fun
Good sunny morning to you down under. there's nothing like a steam train rides. smells, soot and scenery...cheer's my friend Tony.
That is a smashing interpretation of the ticket office Tony. Again it’s simple parts that make for a brilliant model, the stone work and its relief looks superb. Who needs kits! Question - who cloned you? Ha ha. All the best and you both take care, Celia and Stephen
Hi Stephen. since this video, i have tweaked a little the Facia a little bit. as i was not happy with it the way it was. as you will see next week. it seemed like a good idea not to show us fitting out the doors and windows again on video. so to have me working in the background kinda makes sense. while focusing the main build the ticket office. take care my friend Tony.
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN Absolutely, fitting windows and doors has become standard work now! Look forward to seeing the upgrades...
Cheer's Tony.
Beautiful! Thank you for posting.
Our pleasure! Tony.
Another genius build,Tony.
Thank you Colin. cheerio for now Tony.
Hi Tony! What an interesting and varied episode! Nice to see you still adding extra baseboard to such a long standing and well established layout! Makes me feel better knowing what plans I have looking forward! Can't wait to see what you dream up to add to it now that the new track to the TMD is installed! Making room for the signal box looked like incredibly hard work, but the end results were definitely worth it! I'm only four months behind now, and have enjoyed playing catchup so far! All the best, Ian.
Glad you enjoyed the video Ian. the extra spur saves the long winded way round into the M.P.D. especially trains coming in from the branch line. thanks again for watching all the best Tony.
Saw this yesterday Tony tried to comment but you took the video down ,anyways here it is again guess that’s why you weren’t going to Arlesford train toy fair , lucky boy being out and about 😊😎👌☕️
Hi Fred. maybe we catch up and do something like this. i had to redo the video. as it was done with mu mobile phone. cheer's for now Tony.
Looks like fun 👍🏻
Its was. cheer's Tony.
good vid on channel thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for popping in...cheer's Tony.
Awesome update mate!!! Thanks for sharing! Cheers Onno.
So nice of you to say so Onno. cheer's for now Tony.
Super nice! Thank-you!
Thank you very much appreciate the comment. stay safe, cheer's Tony.
A question about the lettering -- both above the ticket windows (@13:50) and on the station sign (@00:58 amongst the flowers) ... Can you tell us more about them, please ? Where did you get them ? If they're pre-made, who makes them? etc. Yet again, brilliant work !
Hi Timothy. the lettering are made by slatters. any model shop will have these. or you can get them on Ebay. they come in various sizes. 4mm 5mm or 7mm tall. i use the the 4mm and 7 seven. i hope this helps. many thanks Tony.
Can I start by saying a very big thank you Tony for mentioning me 🤗 What you have created here is better than a bought thing from the shops. I have learnt a great deal from you over the past years and will learn even more in the coming years to help me improve my modelling skills. Things have been a bit quiet at Karnich but I am working on a few ideas to put on the channel very soon. Cheers for now 👍
No problem 👍Barra. i do like to see and encourage people like yourself to have a go. and to share their layouts. thanks again for commenting. take care my friend Tony.
