Find me Eating, Doing, and LIVING... Just about anywhere on Earth.
Let's Get Lost... Together!
New countries, new cities, new experiences... And a ton of fun and laughter along the way. On this channel I'll be posting my food, travel, and local experiences from all over the World. I'm based in New York City, so join me as I eat my way outward from NYC through the boroughs, states, countries, and continents of planet Earth, and try to provide you with some travel guidance along the way. 🌎
I'm Josh, and I've broken through so many of my own personal fears through my travel experiences. It's my goal to visit every country on the planet, eat every kind of cuisine known to man, and to try every experience there is to try at least once.
I've bathed in Onsens in Japan, hiked a volcano in Guatemala, cruised down the Seine in Paris, drank wine with locals in Portugal, and bathed elephants in Thailand... and I'm just getting started.
Care to join me?

I am going the end of October… I’m curious what it is like during that time. Will I freeze to death? (I live in the south)
As a tour guide, I see both sides of this Tour Guide battle. The reason Greece wants all tour guides to be licensed is just a way to make money. In NYC, where I am a tour guide, it is illegal to give sightseeing tours without a license. And to get a license you have to take a 200 question test on the city of NY to be a official tour guide. Some tour guides wear this proudly and often proclaim themselves to be a "licensed NYC tour guide" at the top of the tour which is code for "i'm legit." However, the truth is you only need to get half the test right to get your license. You could be unlicensed and know more about NYC than a licensed tour guide does. So I don't think its absolutely necessary to have to be licensed to give tours. Having said that, I might be pissed if I was paying 75 bucks every year to be licensed while someone else is giving tours without having to pay for this. On the other side of this, the tour guide and tour company should have warned of this fact beforehand instead of an odd warning at the top of the tour and only explaining the situation AFTER they were caught. You should not have been put in that position and I wouldn't have blamed you if you "snitched." Free tours are a thing in NYC but you still have to get licensed. I don't know how much it costs to get licensed in Greece but this company seems to be cutting corners wherever they can since I assume they only make money on tips.

There is underground over there ?
You mean like a Metro? No there isn't unfortunately. I'm sure one day soon, though!
Pierogi is an important part of polish soft power 😁
They really do have so much power 😂🤩
Miło słyszeć że ktoś z poza kraju polubił Polskę. Nice
To naprawdę cudowne! Jestem podekscytowany powrotem! 🙏🏻
Sir, you brought money from outside our economic circuit and boosting our economy. You did your part - you frequented local places and thereby you put food on local's tables. Please come back again.
I will be back 100%, it's one of my new favorite places! Thank you for watching! 🙏🏻
As a Capetonian, I really enjoyed this video. Well done buddy. You captured it well, and were pretty funny 😄
Thank you so much! 😊🙏🏻
Well, you may think he is a dictator - but one must realize where the origin of the title comes from. It comes from the old Rome and was an extraordinary magistrate appointed during times of crisis. Sort of hitting, not? He was appointed and fixes the problem. Ups. Democracy is good - but when you face a tremendous issue like they did, it is appropriate to fix it even if you temporary have to suspend certain procedures. And - it worked. And then he did not behave as dictator anymore (or: like a good historical dictator he rescinded his powers) and got re-elected. And he puts it on a great trajectory now - similar to Dubai.
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, the whole thing is truly a fascinating case study on government. I'm following it closely and am looking forward to going back a few years down the line!
The brainwashing always showed up when outsiders make videos about S.A. The word APARTHEID wil always find a place in the clip. Flippen flying demons! S.A. is long gone away from that, so pls catch a wake up!
Traditional polish restaurant in Poland - serves czech beer. No wonder it is a successful business.
Wroclaw is Polish, case closed.
Those performers are most probally getting minium wage doing the same dance 5 times a day.. Those similes are fake or grimaces of tiredness. They are forced to smile btw by their dance captains.
So many people have so much to say about these dancers, but the dancers told us their story themselves. Where they were from. What they were doing it for. So I'll tend to believe them and not some people on the internet making assumptions. And *of course* they're putting on the smile as part of the performance, that's how dancing works?
My mom's favorite is lorocco. :P
😂 Your Mom isn't alone! Tons of people in the comments seem to really love it. I'll try it again sometime! 😂
The 1st & 3rd world come face to face with each other in Cape Town against one of Gods most spectacular natural backdrops That can be quite unsettling for visitors to our city. (A very nice little dip into it video from this endearing little gourmet). Compliments for photography & editing.
It's definitely a super unique experience for sure. One I'll definitely never forget, and am for sure looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much!! 🙏🏻
Honey, I think so many Americans not having passports has more to do with poverty, as opposed to not having any intellectual curiosity. Nearly half of Americans can't afford a $400 emergency, much less travel to Europe. That said, for those who do travel, Poland is usually last on their list. And it's a shame!
I think for some that's certainly true, but coming from a very rural region in the USA there are many (many many) people I know personally who don't have a passport and it has nothing to do with their income and everything to do with having no interest in exploration beyond their own backyard. But I agree, it's a large expense regardless and most choose the biggies like Paris or Rome when they finally can go.
@@Get.Lost.Travel I'm literally referring to statistics. Nearly half can't afford a $400 emergency. And isn't that close to the amount you said don't have a passport?....Doesn't it strike you as ignorant to expect those people to travel to Europe when just the plane ticket alone usually costs over $1000?...You're choosing to believe things based on anecdotal experiences, rather than statistics. MOST people can't even afford to travel. SOME aren't intellectually curious. You got it flipped.
Exactly
Glad you like it but man you didnt have "Tlačenka" food what looking bad but is so much amazing :D
I had to look up "Tlačenka" and wow, you're right, it looks rough 😂😂 I'll try it next time though for sure!! Thanks for the rec!!
You are right
🙏🏻
I really appreciate this video of yours. I see the joy of digging into the depth and essence of things. Nice presentation and great work. Good job
Thank you so much! That's a great way to describe it, for sure trying to find the heart of everywhere I'm visiting. I appreciate it!! 🙏🏻🇸🇰
You have to try a traditional Christmas dish: Karp Zatorski. Obviously ordered in Zator.
That sounds super interesting! I'll add it to the list, thank you!! 🙏🏻
@@Get.Lost.Travel you can eat it whole year, but the most delicious is in Christmas Time.

Oh man, this is your most watched video by faaaaaarand TBH Wrocław is like the least Polish city you can find in Poland, similarly to Gdansk :D Heavy German influences. Next time come to Cracow or to the weirdest Polish city - my hometown of Lodz. You so NEED to come back :) Hugs & best wishes1
I know, the response has been really amazing! Definitely planning to visit more cities in Poland down the line, Łódź included for surreee. I'm looking forward to it! Thanks so much for watching!
I think your tour just had bad luck. I have traveled all over peru eating street food and never got sick. It can happen anywhere and is just bad luck.
Yeah I agree! Definitely possible at any time, but I usually do pretty well and got a little unlucky this time.
Respect to their president. Sometimes you gotta put bureaucracy aside. Get shit done.
@6:04 why can't they allow the blacks to use that land
I am shocked that you pronounce the name of the city Wrocław PERFECTLY❤ Congratulations! P.s. Have you tried pierogi with sweet filling?;-) My favourite ones are with blue berries and served with cream on the top. I realy mean it 👍
I practiced it a few times! 😂 I haven't tried them with sweet filling! A couple people have suggested it, and I'm down to give it a try whenever the opportunity strikes!
👍
🙏🏻
Co to są pierogi pyta się Polak z dziada pradziada.
4:15 -"Bar u bitki" 🤣
for your information, the movie Eurotrip was filmed in the Czech Republic in the city of Milovice on a former military base of the Soviet Army. The film has nothing to do with Bratislava. Only the American people like to humiliate other countries. Borat - Kazakhstan. Kofola has nothing in common with your American toilet cleaning water that contains hydrogen fluoride.
I actually know that it was filmed in Czechia, the point is that it's *set* in Bratislava, thereby creating the (incorrect) expectation for travelers. Also this is a very serious and intense response for a very lighthearted video that speaks only love for Bratislava and Slovakia. Are you ok?
Are you OK? Your brain. The film is a lie has nothing to do with Bratislava. You know it's a lie, yet you support it. You don't tell lies like that about other countries. Do you need to make money by lying?@@Get.Lost.Travel
@@Get.Lost.TravelDid you not find a film lie about Bulgaria and Budapest? Do you support the dirty movie Eurotrip only about Bratislava?
Nine Eleven Tavern in South Buffalo. Get there early and bring cash as they don't take cards.
I've heard good things!
Great intro to Pierogi Culture! Greetings from Colorado. BTW, there is a Pierogi Factory in Colorado!
I would definitely visit a place called "Pierogi Factory", that sounds amazing! Thanks so much for watching!
Poland and Polish people are wonderful.is the best west country to visit
I had a great time for sure!!
Czym k...a byłeś zszokowany, normalnością!
Pozdrowienia z Wrocławia! 👋🏻
Josh, I could easily give you a praise for pronunciation etc like others did, yet - I'd like to congratulate you on this little adventure as thats what traveling is (was?) all about: just go, explore, see on your own. Push / move your own borders by those extra 4h train ride. Godspeed!
That's exactly right! Thank you! I remind myself of this often, and the fun surprises that come along as a result are even more powerful.
Well done, Josh. Thanks for your positive energy. I'm sure Poles liked you there in Poland. Poles traditionally like America and Americans and you are in addition a very likeable person. All the best in your future endeavours.
Thank you!! It's true, I definitely had only positive energy coming my way for sure. The best to you as well!
😘from🇵🇱Poland!!
Thank you!!
Wrocław - my university city!!! Thank you.. Polish from New York
It's such a great city! I'm sure it would be a great one to spend university years in!
The Ostrich part really had me laughing. Grew up on an Ostrich farm, Ahh my Buddy Frank! Proud and...Delicious to the end (at the end) 🤣
🤣 That's wild you grew up on an ostrich farm! That had to be such an interesting childhood. And yeah, unfortunately, it is pretty delicious 🤣
I want to go back there some day. I spent half my life there. You can live your whole life there and not know how bad it really is in certain places until you live in those areas
It's a super interesting dynamic for sure! I hope you get the chance to go back, I'm sure so much has changed!
As a Capetonian, it's probably best to stick to the touristy/ wealthy places.
You have to go to Podlasie region in Poland. There is the best food in Poland for sure!
That sounds amazing! I'll mark it down for next time for sure, thank you!
Next time please do join the AWOL Tours cultural bicycle tour.
There is disparity all over the world, haves and have nots will always exist, your own country would be a great place to start being uber charitable.
