PERU said NO: REJECTED from MACHU PICCHU 😞🇵🇪
Peru said "No". Machu Picchu is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Its on everyone's bucket list, and it was finally my time to go. I flew over 4,000 miles from Lima, and to Cusco in order to see Machu Picchu in the nation of Peru with my own eyes... and they wouldn't let me go. I wasn't able to see it.
I was lucky enough to have my friend Caroline join me for this special journey to see Machu Picchu and to experience the lovely city of Cusco. Not everything went as planned for us (obviously), but we still had were lucky to have an incredible time in a super unique and historical city in Peru.
Stick with me as I explain what it was that stopped us from visiting, as well as other potential roadblocks we also might have faced. As it turns out, visiting Machu Picchu is hardly a guarantee, but having the right information can help a whole lot in your journey & in your preparation.

I'm from Cusco-Perú and I really apologize to you for the inconveniences you had to experience, I feel very bad for the tourists who couldn't visit our wonderful world. I really feel vergence every step of the way and I feel it again in the name of all the people from Cusco and Peru to the tourists who went through these problems. I hope that even then you don't remember us with a bad image, even though this is difficult.

Bro, this video... what a good storyline. The rhythm is perfect. Im very sorry that you were not able to visit Machu Picchu but don't be discouraged... Im Peruvian and I just visited Cusco for the first time last year. I was there for 5 days and I can say that there are still a couple of trips pending to finish getting to know much more. Take it as an excuse to come back sooner. I repeat, what a good video! 🙌

I thought I had the biggest hiccup when I wasn't allowed to board the plane to Peru when my passport was 11 days short of the 6months validity requirement. Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you still had fun!

If you ever come back, please, go to the Sacred Valley first, as it's lower you will have a better aclimatization to the altitude, you do the Sacred Valley first and Machu Picchu, and theeeeeen, at the end you go up to Cusco. Most of people don't know this but I've been a tour leader for over 9 years in Perú, so that's my biggest advice. First day always take a rest and walk at your own pace. So sorry to hear you couldnt visit Machu Picchu but you know what? This is a great oportunity to come back, we will be waiting for you! Thank you for traveling in my country, great videos!

There are several archaeological sites that you can visit in Cusco. There is a tour of the Maras salt mines, chincheros town and moray. It is a tour that lasts half a day. Take that tour with the guides of the main square

Oh yeah, I know! I actually heard a lot of mixed reviews about the salt mines so I was hesitant to visit, but I'll be back!

There is a pill called "sorojchi pill" i took it wheen i was a in cusco and it worked perfectly. And yes the mate de coca also works.

If this was my trip, I would have skipped the guinea pig, brought ear plugs, took a helicopter ride over Machu Picchu (if available), and hiked Rainbow mountain.

You might be able to get a copter from Aguas Calientes, but MP is very far from Cusco so probably not from there. But I can get with all the rest except, why the ear plugs? 😂

@@Get.Lost.Travel There are special ear plugs designed to block excess air pressure. I started using them after experiencing high air pressure when I had to drive across the Big Island of Hawaii. They also help during take off and landing on flights.
