    Thank you, Brent, The fan is performing wonderfully. It can be operated via remote control or voice commands with Google Assistant and Alexa. Two features I particularly appreciate are the wide range of fan speeds and the adjustable brightness of the light. When set to high, level 10, the fan spins as fast as a helicopter, :), but it can also be slowed down to a gentle breeze. The light's brightness is highly versatile, ranging from very dim to extremely bright.

    Interesting, as far as I know, I didn't have an extended cushion cover. We only had the necessary seat and back covers. It's been three years, and the unit still looks as good as the day we purchased it. Living in South Florida means we must store our cushions when they're not in use to protect them from the sun, which could otherwise damage them. Remarkably, the unit itself has stood up well to the intense Florida sun.

    Have you had any issues with water getting through gap between the sliding doors? If so, how did you remedy that? Didn't take into account how big that gap is (about 1.5") & with how close the wall is to inner door (bit over 22"), splash back of water can get through - very minor but some water still manages to get through. I'm currently looking for vertical shower fin / guar to cover that gap. Any advice / suggestion appreciated!

    What causes the machine to not spin?

  • @SanctuaryofthePalmBeaches
    @SanctuaryofthePalmBeaches9 ай бұрын

    There are several potential reasons why the Samsung Front Load Washer might not be spinning. Here are a few common issues: Unless you are fairly handy with working with these machines you will probably need a service technician to come out and see what is causing the problem. 1. Faulty Door Lock: The washer will not start the spin cycle if it detects that the door is not locked properly. This could be due to a faulty door lock mechanism or latch. 2. Blocked or Damaged Drain Pump: If the washer cannot drain the water properly, it won’t spin. A blockage or a faulty drain pump can cause this issue. 3. Unbalanced Load: An unbalanced load can prevent the washer from spinning properly. Adjusting the load or reducing the load size can often resolve this issue. 4. Worn Out Motor Coupler or Belt: The motor coupler or belt could be worn out or broken, preventing the washer from spinning. 5. Faulty Motor Control Board or Main Control Board: These components are responsible for controlling the motor and other functions of the washer. If either of them is faulty, the washer might not spin. 6. Faulty Rotor or Stator: These are integral parts of the motor, and any issue with them can lead to the washer not spinning. 7. Broken Lid Switch or Sensor: If the washer thinks the lid is open due to a faulty switch or sensor, it won’t spin. 8. Software or Firmware Issue: Sometimes, an issue with the software or firmware of the washer can cause functional problems, including issues with spinning. Troubleshooting Steps: Check Error Codes: Refer to the user manual or look up online to understand any error codes displayed on the washer. Check the Door Lock: Ensure the door is closed properly. If the door lock is faulty, it may need to be replaced. Inspect the Drain Pump and Hose: Check for blockages or damage in the drain pump and hose. Balance the Load: If the load is unbalanced, redistribute the clothes and try again. Check the Belt or Motor Coupler: Inspect these components for wear or damage and replace them if necessary. Perform a Software Reset: Unplug the washer for about 10 minutes to reset the electronic components, then plug it back in and try again. Contact a Professional: If you are unable to diagnose or resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for further assistance. Note: Before performing any checks or repairs, always refer to the user manual for safety instructions and specific guidance for your model, and unplug the washer or turn off the power at the circuit breaker.

    Avoid Home Depot (HDX) water filters! My Samsung has the same exact housing and takes the same kinda water filter despite the fridge having a slight different model#; anyways the HDX brand got stuck in our refridgerator and when it came time to replace it we couldn't get it out despite turning-off our water and trying to put a wrench on it! So we had to call Geeksquad. BestBuy's tech people that come to your house. Thankfully the housing didn't break. Home Depot gave-us a full-refund but the technician visit costed between $115-$200! Go with either OEM Samsung or Lowe's brand! We've used the 2-pack "S-4-2" water filter from Lowe's no problem! Believe it or not, both Lowe's and BestBuy can price-match Amazon's price for their Samsung OEM filters which aren't that much more expensive! it's like $3-more than HDX if you do the math! Also the Samsung OEM brand doesn't require submerging it in water for an hour prior to installation and is easier to install! Btw, it's obvious that the filter you have is a review filter because they normally don't come in packaging like that. Is Home Depot paying you to make this video? Btw, Samsung says to run 3-gallons through it, Home depot and Lowes say 2.5-gal, (listen to Samsung) You should try pulling it back out after you run the water to make sure you can get it out.

    I just bought a couple of bottles of this to do my roof and I was under the impression through my research that we were supposed to just "spray and forget". I don't remember reading anything online about rinsing it off gently after applying it. I guess I'll wait and see what the bottle says. I have a feeling it's gonna tell me to rinse it off which is kind of misleading on their part if you ask me. Just one man's opinion.

  • @Dan-TheHandyMan
    @Dan-TheHandyMan11 ай бұрын

    agree, I thought the same thing, after buying it I realized it had to be rinsed. I tried it both ways. I ultimately found myself rather dissatisfied with the outcome. I believe that the area where I allowed it to rest, letting the rain reactivate it gradually over time, performed better than the section where I sprayed it on, left it for a brief period, and then rinsed it off.

    This situation is far from normal. Either the machine is unbalanced, or there is an underlying issue. It is possible that something went wrong during delivery. Since you recently purchased the machine, I recommend contacting the merchant from whom you made the purchase. Hopefully, they will address the problem by providing a replacement or sending someone to assess the situation.

Gradually make your way down slowly removing the paper off the back of the brush as you stick it to the frame. You will need a sharp knife or razor blade to cut it in the end.

    Hello, I've got a question about a timer for a sprinkler. We have quail out here in Arizona in our tree outside our bedroom that are pooping everywhere under a specific tree all over our pool deck and wrought iron black fence. I've gone out there at dusk and sprayed into the trees and they scatter like crazy. One hour later, sometimes less, they are back. I was thinking of a timed sprinkler that would shoot into the tree every hour for about 4 seconds. Do you know how I would go about this? Their poop is everywhere!

  • @Dan-TheHandyMan
    @Dan-TheHandyMan Жыл бұрын

    This might work best for your situation. It's a sprinkler that you hook up to a water hose and it has a day/night movement sensor detector on it. So, when it sees movement the sprinkler would turn on and spray up into the tree. You would of course need to point the sprinkler in that direction. The sensor works off of a battery. So, you can put it anywhere you can run a water hose. Hope this helps.
