Why did you rinse it off the next day? You're supposed to leave it on, that's why it's named spray and forget. I left mine on and it cleared up everything. It does take a while to see the full results, but it definitely works.

Thanks for the comment. I sprayed it off because the instructions tell you to do a light rinse to get the orange off. The product should adhere to the roof and not wash off. The product is reactivated when it rains and cleans a little each time. I did not rinse the other side of the roof to see how it works. I use another product called Wet and Forget; it is used on sidewalks and buildings and works great.

I got confused too as whether we rinse it off or we leave it and forget about it. The instructions explicitly says to rinse it off so I did. Next time I will definitely try it without rinsing.

I just bought a couple of bottles of this to do my roof and I was under the impression through my research that we were supposed to just "spray and forget". I don't remember reading anything online about rinsing it off gently after applying it. I guess I'll wait and see what the bottle says. I have a feeling it's gonna tell me to rinse it off which is kind of misleading on their part if you ask me. Just one man's opinion.

agree, I thought the same thing, after buying it I realized it had to be rinsed. I tried it both ways. I ultimately found myself rather dissatisfied with the outcome. I believe that the area where I allowed it to rest, letting the rain reactivate it gradually over time, performed better than the section where I sprayed it on, left it for a brief period, and then rinsed it off.

You may want to consider putting mesh around the panels to stop birds nesting under the panels and damaging wires etc. Under the panels is warm for birds which they like a lot and they will keep coming back unless you terminate them. Leading to the birds crapping on your panels blocking light and messing up panel efficiency increasing panel and roof cleaning

You have to use the same chlorine that’s in your pool.

If you have to rinse it off, then spray and forget is probably not the best name for the product.

You are correct. I love the product "Spray and Forget" for sidewalks but after using the "Spray and Forget" for the roof (two different products). I was disappointed.
