Hi welcome to our channel, we have had our allotment for 18 months and have been no dig for a year. Our goal is to create as healthy soil as possible to get the maximum nutrition from our food using organic and regenerative methods. I don't use any sprays for insects I'd rather nature find a balance and I am not buying in any organic compost or fertilizer, as I am making my own. The soil food web can supply everything your plants need all you have to do is feed the microbes and not Dig! 👍🏻🤠💪💗🪱

Great to get a walk away from the town. I live in whitby North Yorkshire and the town is flooded with visitors. Take care Nick.
@@johnnoble7610 thanks John.🙏💪👌👍😁
Love the forest and your pooches, Nick! So great that you could escape for a walk. There's nothing more beautiful than the English countryside ❤️ ~ Sandra
@@NanasWorms thanks Sandra I'm lucky that the countryside isn't too far away. 👍👌❤️💪😁
It's good to escape. Town is okay but sometimes you need breathing space. Glad you had a walk in the shade. Too hot otherwise for the dogs. Our Max keeps on finding a shady space at the allotment and lies on my plants lol. Nice countryside Nick 👍👍
@@allotmentjoy hi Elaine Scout the border terrier is very slow now but Ollie is still active but they don't like the heat, a cool shady forest is the best for them and me.👌😁👍❤️🙏
Oh I really enjoyed that Nick....thank you for sharing!!! Take care, Annie 🐞 🐝 🌱

Hi Nick, it's been a good experiment. I found that some of the volunteer harvest have been very good and they have been from very small seed potatoes.
@@adysveggarden I'm not surprised now I think about it as my cuttings produced quite well last year. 👍😁👌💪🥔
Aww Nick, I'm so glad you still get to see Ollie and scout.. I bet you feel amazing after seeing them...☺️🐮🐮🐮

Always worth it if it is free! i got close on 1.5kg from a tiny sliver of skin with an eye on it once. is that a leatherjacket? Daddy Long Legs larva.

I feel the same about my container allotment at home. I worked hard for virtually nothing this year. See if there is a local food bank or community pantry you can donate to. Also see if you can split your allotment if you feel it's too big.
