My favorite comment when Dr Smith says “ you are a goose” no matter how many times I hear it I have to laugh!! Still my fav show from the 60’s meeting the cast, friends with Mark and being a part of the B9 robot builders club will always be fond memories.

One of my favorite shows! I knew back then that he had to be gay and was surprised by how much he got away with his nelly performances, but that was a different era. It’s still fun to watch the reruns.

This is absolutely stupid. Harris was very straight. A married man for decades. Ya know, Opie and Anthony insulted Harris during an interview almost insinuating Smith's character was a pedifile in connection with his friendship with Will. I never heard such a insulting thing. You soil his good memory. SHAME on you.

As a child I was a huge fan of everything in Lost in Space except the character of Dr Smith. I thought he was awfully effeminate even back then. I wanted him thrown out of the airlock a million times for the suffering his antics caused the Robinsons. As an actor, I thought he was hilarious, but his character was DEFINITELY gay. It's disputed whether his portrayal helped the show, although it did if you asked Jonathan Harris 😂.

I have the privilege of watching Lost in Space here in Southern California on WETV at Midnight weekdays. Brings back memories. Without Dr.Smith the Show would've been Bland. He was Constantly scheming and Conniving. Malingering. It made the Show interesting. Though sometimes you felt like choking him. Or leaving him on a desolate planet. 🤣🤣🤣

I don't know, or care, if Dr. Smith was gay. The show has been off the air for 55 years. These conversations about iconic TV characters (always in shows long since defunct), appear from time to time. IMHO: They serve no purpose other than to attempt to drag homosexuality (kicking and screaming), into the mainstream. It's propaganda, nothing more. No! I have no phobias about homosexuality. I "call them as I see them". The makers of this video have made their "call" and I have made mine. OBTW: If you are a member of the "tolerant, all-inclusive Left" (whose actions remind me of "military intelligence"), why are you foaming at the mouth and about to chunder hateful bile in my direction? I'm glad they keep it all male! Some of the gay resorts in California started to let females in and it is so awkward and uncomfortable that I had to boycott them.

Just for the record! Yes, lets drag the Man`s name in the mud, make fun of his genius, make a public buffoon of him. Comments of actors he worked with on the show that hated his guts because they lacked his personal drive and vigor that turn his role into the star of the Series. Jonathan saved the show and kept it on for 3 seasons while the rest of the cast sleepwalked through their parts and got a paycheck for adding little or nothing to the proceedings.Yes, now that the Man is dead, lets dirty his name, lets forget about what is right and just. This video and the "creepy" little boy who is doing the interviewing in this video is a travesty, a cheap shot to a dead Man who can not defend himself any longer, being "gay" or not was and is irrelevant. Jonathan would see this video for what it is.........pure slander!.
