  For anyone watching, inverted controls are ON by default. This means you would need to either change Inverted Controls to OFF, or change Pitch Down to spacebar in stead of Pitch Up.

  @@_Kurato_ make sure you remove the roll right and left from the keyboard first, in 1:24 you can see 2 columns, 1 for keyboard and 1 for mouse, click roll right in the keyboard column to change it, then press ESCape to unbind it, then click on the mouse column and move your mouse to the right. then do the same for roll left. if it still doesnt work for you please add me and I will help you. my discord username is sevenvi

  This is a very old video, please check my newer ones they are way better. To answer your question: Go to Options, Mouse and Keyboard, Vehicles, scroll down and turn off 3P camera roll

  I use CAPS lock as pitch down on the keyboard, and I leave pitch down on the mouse as it is. This way I get to have fine control over my pitch when I use the mouse, and if I want the pitch to be more aggressive I use the keyboard

  Watching some of these dogfights is pretty intense. I was playing conquest 64 and flying a nightbird, enemy was in the stealth chopper (still new to this game, don't know the name) and we were doing circles around each other and taking shots for what felt like eternity. He won in the end because his team had AA and the score was something like 100 v 500 at the time of the fight, with my team losing.

  What an excellent dog fight video, I have never seen any jet youtubers teaching as good as you , thanks to let me learned a lot about how to watching the information of radars. I still want to confirm one concept about afterburner management . Is the afterburner always used in climbing then release in diving? Or it depends on the situation about the distance between two jets?

  Generally use afterburner when you climb up then release when you when you dive - this is a must. then you can use it to close the gap (situational)

  Hi AntiSocialElf, very appreciate your jet guideline video, I learned a lot. i am taiwaneses and I' am not very good at English, so please bear with me. there are some questions about this guideline, could you please correct my mistakes? Fisrt, 1:09 how do you expect the enemy jet is a rookie? how does the pro pilot do when the two jets face to face? Second, 1:22 how to do the tight circle always confuesd me. According to your advice, I think that use the Roll and Yaw together can creat the tight circle compare to the Roll only? Third 2:52 when the two jets passed each other, you inverted and dive the jet and use the afterburner at the same time, my question is why do you use the afterburner when the jet diving? Fourth 4:55 when the radar shows the enemy jet do the horizontal loop from your right anterior side to your left posterior side, you yaw left and do verticle loop to get the attack window, This makes me thinking, if you Yaw right, what will be happened? Thank you again for your help.

I am happy that my guide helped you, there are other dogfight guides on my channel so be sure to check them out. to answer your questions: 1:09 a pro pilot wouldnt miss this amount of bullets, I was coming down from a stall and he spawned and spotted me first before I could see him, he had enough time to take me down but missed most of his shots 1:22 Yes, use roll and Yaw, Yaw in the same direction of your roll if you want the circle to be tight. this guide can also help: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h3iXktSjaa6tk7g.html 2:52 so in this fight I was against a good pilot and I wanted to have a fast turn, I didnt want to give him a chance to be behind me so I used the afterburner. you will notice that once I got him in my sight on my turn up, I didnt use the afterburner while climbing up. I usually use afterburner to close the distance between me and the enemy jet. watch this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gmuGvLF-mMmzdLA.html 4:55 if I Yaw right my turn radius would be wider, it would be a mistake in this fight and the enemy jet would have been behind me if you have any other questions let me know :)

I always follow the rules strictly, but this rule in contrast to this video at 2:52, and this makes me so confused. Another question I want to ask regarding the tight circle. We already knew when used the Yaw and Roll together, we can get the tight loop. Can the same concept used in the verticle loop? When I pitch up the jet by used the keyboard and mouse together can create the tight circle compare to the keyboard only? Thank you again for your help.

  Since last update, dice increased the yaw sensitivity, any suggestions on how to compensate for it ? for me its getting harder to aim at infantry by using A or D due to the sensitivity change, just one click of yaw left or right, the crosshair moves away too much!!

  Great video! I would suggest using the 3rd person camera to zoom in since it has way more zoom than the cockpit one. It's a bit tricky at first but it's a gamechanger once you get used to it.

  Yeah I use it a lot, they changed the placement of it in one of the past updates so it's not good with close quarters, I find it very good when the other jet is far away

  I think you have to play a lot vs bots first, when I started I couldnt even kill the AI jet.   Press and hold S which is slow down/brakes on pc, and don't press afterburner. And start shooting as early as possible

  There is another trick, go up to 500 meter a altitude and come down towards the chopper with an angle, am not sure if you are doing this already or not 😅

  Never attack from the front, attack from the back of the side and pick a moment when the wildcat is busy with other targets. use Hydra rockets
