A problem with this game is that it’s so easy to get overpowered around halfway through. You’re supposed to look for ways to make your build stronger in a souls game because the difficulty curve gets harder and harder and you have to keep up. If I have to nerf myself to make the game have a normal souls difficulty curve that’s a design flaw. I’ve never gotten so overpowered so quickly in any other souls game. The bosses especially are just way too easy. Overall I enjoy the game very much but the relatively easy difficulty is disappointing. Now that I’ve completed 1 playthrough that lacked that initial difficulty curve I feel like I have to use the knowledge I’ve acquired to design another playthrough that ensures that it’s not too easy. Hopefully new game plus can offer more of that experience.

I think maybe your skill level is higher than the average player 😅 a lot of videos for people saying the game is difficult and there are guides on KZread helping them get overpowered earyl, for me the game is challenging I die a few times at each boss (just killed the hushed saint, did you think he was difficult or easy?)

@@AntiSocialElf hushed saint is still very early in the game. You’ll just have to see how strong you get around 50%-60% through the game. It does also depend on the build you’re going for. Personally I did a pure str build and my god did it get ridiculous. I’ve seen the same complaints with some other builds as well.

Yeah am going dark crusader strength build. So do you put points in strengths, endurance and vitality?

@@AntiSocialElf yeah that’s pretty much all you need. I started investing in radiance once I got all of those to the hard caps to dual wield a second colossal sword that scales partly with radiance. The trapper crossbow is by far the best ranged option for a str build and that’s also very strong halfway through the game.
