You can strafe infantry using dogfight controls, its just not as easy

Killing infantry is okay but it’s a waste of time in my humble opinion. Infantry spawns fast where vehicles do not. There is no greater satisfaction than killing a loaded tank or wildcat with your jet :). Forces them to wait a minute and a half until the vehicle is back, giving your infantry and air space plenty of opportunity to secure a cap. Love your videos. T1 pilot here.

I totally agree with you, when I play I mainly focus on clearing the sky first, then focus on wildcats and tanks. Maybe infantry if I have no other targets.. I use rifle aim or infantry controls (Yaw to mouse and roll to keyboard) and they are much easier to control. When I started I used the default controls and I struggled to stay on a moving target with Yaw being assigned to the keyboard.

@@AntiSocialElf i tried rifle aim and I couldnt. Been flying in all BF games with the same sensitivity and keyboard bindings. The only exception is that I bound brake to fire on BF2042 so I can burst fire hydra rockets to ground vehicles below 600 meters. Is risky but holding down w counter balances it.

Ah okay, I remember my first week on rifle aim I was crashing most of the time till I got used to it. I only played bad company 2 then bf 2042. Bad company 2 was extremely fun

Trying to aim at Infantery with the Mouse and Keyboard Jet df controls was indeed very hard for me when we played in your practice server. In the end it comes down to every individuals preferences. Like I love dogfighting and therefore don't mind about farming controls.

I couldn't get my head around rifle aim / controls, I'll leave it to the Pros to fight in the skies for me -- it does make me feel better though about constantly losing 😅I'll stick to my Lis' 'rifle aim' ;) Seriously though I love the insight you bring to the world of Jets. Playing them isn't my flavour but I absolutely respect them & glad to have a good pilot on my team.

Your infantry controls is the rifle aims? if im not mistaken the name, i watched in silk's channel, I want to use infantry controls but unfortunately i cant survive the dogfight if another jet amming at me lol

Hi, yes, rifle aim. as long as you play in pubs (not in private servers versus top 10 jet players) then you will be ok. it just needs practice. I use the rifle aim all the time and win more than 90% of the dogfights in public matches (conquest)

Which controls do u recommend for someone starting or new ?

I recommend that you only change pitch up to Space and use dogfight controls. the reason I switch to infantry controls/rifle aim is because I have played for over 100 hours and felt that I need more accuracy aiming. if you get that feeling after getting good with normal controls then you can change the controls to rifle aim, it will take you a couple of days to adjust. if you are absolutely new then maybe this guide will help, might be boring but watch till the end as it shows how to practice: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKuOu86cqcrdh8o.html

@@_Kurato_ make sure you remove the roll right and left from the keyboard first, in 1:24 you can see 2 columns, 1 for keyboard and 1 for mouse, click roll right in the keyboard column to change it, then press ESCape to unbind it, then click on the mouse column and move your mouse to the right. then do the same for roll left. if it still doesnt work for you please add me and I will help you. my discord username is sevenvi
