I knew a lot of info on fnd as i am experiencing it, and done the research but your way of explaining certainly helped. I did share it w/ my sister so she understands it better and she won't question the stuff i'm telling her. Unfortunately in Greece i've only found one neurologist who identified it and helps me out. The first to have contacted years ago (in 2011 was the onset), was so brutal and mean about it: "its not epilepsy, it's pseudoseizures, here get meds and try to live your life", as if I could at that point. Soon I will try to go through disability board for maybe better work conditions though i don't see it happening.. most likely they'll say I need a shrink but i will give it a shot. Thank you anyway.

I had two bad things happen taking melatonin: 1. Felt like I was ‘awake’ sleeping if that makes sense 2. Slept so hard on my own arm it was numb and limp for several days

12:05 Why is is that if something cant be seen that it doesnt exist and that its in the patients mind? I extremely resonate with this recently as im getting the run around from the medical system. I've been labeled as just having anxiety and as a result no one wants to help me any further. Its agonizing, especially when the anxiety meds theyve put me on dont help and I still report being in agony for months and they wont do anything to help. I dont know what to do or where to turn anymore as I know its something more than just anxiety, but i cant do anything about it.

It seems that if the medical community is skeptical why don’t they just do a legitimate trial study to show that it doesn’t work? 🥹

Has anyone had the head tremors while sleeping but then when it wakes you up the tremor stops? Nobody can help me or understand why this happens. The head tremors are only when I sleep but they stop upon waking. It’s so strange.

Can someone please explain what this means in a CT scan report: "A small oval lesion with a longitudinal diameter of 3 mm is located on the sulcus corporis callosi (exemplary series 13 ima 98). Otherwise inconspicuous signaling behavior of gray and white matter supra- and infratentorial in all sequences performed."

Unfortunately I was not given the time to ease off my gababentin because I was kidnapped. 😮 even though I had alot of other feelings I didn't feel any other type of withdrawals from it. After the incident and the 2 weeks of "no pills" and I began to feel elated and happy again. All those years of taking the Gababentin I was never happy. I was miserable, never smiling ir laughing, good riddens.

Congratulations on this wonderful work! Thanks for sharing with your followers. It's inspiring. My grandfather was Carl Rogers, who I'm sure you know as a pioneer of person-centered approach. I'm caring for my wife with dementia right now. Don't want to ever go to a facility because of the poor care.

Um i think the number one reason gabapentin gets prescribed is for its antiallodynic and antihyperalgesic effect in neuropathies.

Thank you for the information! I have always felt “crazy”. I do have a question about the stimulants. My psychiatrist and I worked through nearly the entire list, including the release options. We are now trying non stimulants. Can you offer your thoughts on what to ask next? I hear people say how much it works for them and since it doesn’t work for me I must not have adhd, it really bums me out. The medicine doesn’t make change my life at all one way or another. Even the side affects are not something I deal with. It’s like my body doesn’t even recognize it. Also, I have non diabetic reactive hypoglycemia. Could this be related to adhd. Maybe something i should bring forward to my doctors, even though everyone knows that I have both.

I've been on it for 15 years. I was able to get myself off of 30mg of Valium no problem. But this shit??? I go down 300mg and the withdrawal is terrible! Horrible anxiety, insomnia I lasted but I'm too afraid to go down any more. But I want off of it! It's worse than benzos withdrawal ! Thanks for your informative video

Thank you!! I watched grandparents and then both of my parents develop dementia. Sadly, the nursing homes were not very good. Because I lived far away, I was not able to visit very often. It broke my heart and I know that some day it will be me.

I applaud you and those working with you towards this goal - seeing my mother decline in a memory care unit that was not equipped or seemingly even motivated to engage with the patients more than at feeding times was a real eye opener for me. Music is indeed medicine and I did what I could to help bring more music in for them - they all responded so beautifully when music was playing as if they had been watered after a long drought. I never could understand why they didn't make this simple free activity more of a daily event than weekly. There is so much more involved than just offering music of course but I love that you mentioned it. I hope the work you and others are doing on this front spreads far and wide.

I have a balance problem which nobody seems able to diagnose. Perhaps ot is a cerebellum problem. I've had a brain mri and nothing was said about the cerebellum involvement. Is this connection possible or probable?

After two pulmonary embolism I suffered respiratory failure and resulting neuropathy. Mine was fast onset with no prior symptoms. I have been taking 3,200 mg daily in four divided doses. After three years I'm weaning off per my choice. I'm down to 2,000 mg one week later and no withdrawal symptoms but definitely worse neuropathic pain in my legs. I'm confident in my decision as I dislike taking medication but I do fear this neuropathy pain will get worse. From the knees up I feel just fine and for that I am thankful. I have no addiction issues. I don't drink and no mental health issues. I'm self cutting back 1000 mg weekly.

Then I have another relative whose husband is having trouble with memory. She agreed to try your channel out. I was so happy to be able to suggest your lectures.

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the brain, primarily responsible for regulating sleep-wake cycles. It helps control your circadian rhythms, promoting sleepiness in the evening and helping to coordinate the body's response to darkness and light. Melatonin supplements are often used to treat sleep disorders or to help adjust to time zone changes (jet lag).

The only thing fibre will do for you is make you poop more. It'll do nothing at all for your cholesterol levels. Why didn't your specialist tell you that? The damaging LDL is caused entirely by carbohydrates and sugars. You are doing the damage yourself.
