American Sentinel K9, LLC
American Sentinel K9, LLC
American Sentinel K9, LLC is owned and operated by APBT & bandog specialist, H Lee Robinson, who obtained two degrees in Animal Sciences (1993 & 1997) from the U. of Illinois, taught biology and genetics for over 25 years, has been breeding working class APBTs (American Pit Bull Terriers) and the American Sentinel Bandog since 2000, and is licensed by the state of Mississippi fin K9 training and boarding.
The term "Bandog" describes a catch dog that when released stops & controls threats and/or dangerous beasts.
American Sentinel LLC is the oldest bandog program in existence today and consistently proves their dogs in 1) sentry work, 2) protection work, & 3) hunting dangerous wild game.
If you need a high performance sentry dog, protection dog, or hunting catch dog, be sure to require proof that performance measures were used to evaluate the breeding stock. Claims mean nothing if a program refuses to provide such evidence of their own dogs performing said tasks. Select wisely.

Was the Danger sibling in the video Ryuk or another male from that breeding?
❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥 awesome video. Lee produces a hell of a working dog.
Thank you ❤ so much! You are the real deal. Thanks for sharing and teaching this. I desire to become a breeder and you are educating me and inspiring me
I like the water buckets can I ask where you bought them?
Thats a real nice dog you have their
This is one of my favorite videos I've seen from you bro
appreciate it.
Never forget, make sure the dogs are worth breeding in the first place. That's the problem today 🤷🏾♂️
You greatly inspire me! I always wanted to become a breeder since I was a kid!
I could listen to these two men all day long. So knowledgeable and real dog men. May they both be around for another 100 years 🙏 to keep these beautiful dogs around.
You have the best videos ❤
Rick, should that be your name, your comment was removed because you mentioned Chuck's last name. That said, I would not be surprised if you are actually Chuck. It is not my objective to cause him/you any embarrassment concerning his/your lack of experience or knowledge about committed protection dogs. Also, you stated the man should not be able to touch the dog's head...well, perhaps you are blind and deaf as we hear the dog's chomp, but clearly the man cannot touch the dog's head without getting bit...and is only able to touch it with an object (the hat, which was taken, and the stick which the dog also tried to take) because the dog is tethered. Should I remove the tether and not tell the dog to behave, anyone outside of the family is in trouble. Additionally, a wagging tail does not mean friendly dog. The fact that you think so simply reveals your lack of experience and knowledge. A wagging tail simply means the dog is enjoying the encounter and happy to be there. Dogs can be happy for many reasons. A good guard dog, sentry dog, or protection dog is happy to be with family...but is also happy to engage a stranger. Likewise, a good hog catch dog wags its tail during the dangerous and life-threatening combative task of catching wild boar, as does a gamedog during combat. Don't confuse happy with friendly. It seems your experience is limited to dogs that do not enjoy combat, and SOME such dogs have proven effective in some situations, most of them are unreliable, and as a result, it is unwise to rely on such an animal during real combat. Those comments are errors on your part. Dogs that tend to do a lot of snarling and growling are generally far less committed and not true gladiators in combat. I call such behavior the "huff, puff, and bluff" because dogs that do such things do not enjoy combat. They may look to be great deterrents to the inexperienced, but such dogs often prove unreliable when actually in actual combat. Tucked tails, hackles up, and a lot of growling and snarling is what an animal does when it is working in fear, and such dogs may engage when cornered and cannot get away, but give it a chance for flight, and most will run. A true gladiator will not think that way. A true gladiator says, "I'll be your huckleberry" (one willing to bleed like a berry), or as some say "huckle bearer" (one who carries a casket).
I’ve personally visited this man’s yard when I picked up a puppy. Lee is one of my favorite breeders because of the man he is and the culture he has. I met scratch, such a powerful high drive individual and he just wanted to 💡 me up. This is a working breed with amazing capabilities. Let’s just say from seeing with my own eyes these dogs are not playing and will chew your ass up. You rock Lee, but I say know what you’re getting into because they are not for everyone. God bless the 🇺🇸 Sentinel program ❤

Hey man, hope your health is all good and you’ve been in recently for your cough, my uncle thought he just had a regular cough, ended up having lung cancer. Thank you for the video and god bless!
Thanks. That has been gone for a while now. All is well.
I would love to be able to talk to you about my program that I have going thank you will be interested
Thank you
I had to rewatch this entire interview over again, it's even more interesting and entertaining the second time through, six months later.
I'm telling you this in case it might be good information. I'm always looking forward to seeing you. As I recall, a few of the perfect females were released from your kennel because they were not in heat. It is said that If you put a nice male and a female together and the female likes the male, it is said that she will come into heat. This was a tip from someone who has been breeding dogs in my country for 50 years. It was so sad to see a female like Machete disappear. I am working hard to make my dream come true. I hope I can see you that day. have a good day sir🖐🖐🖐👍👍👍👍💥💥💥💥🤩😄(It may be a little strange because I used a translator, but I hope you can roughly understand it.😅🤣🤣)
As an experienced breeder with a Master's in Reproductive Physiology, liking the male has nothing to do with being in heat. Additionally, my females are not kept with specific males anyway. However, what can and does happen is females often sync in their heat cycles, and when doing so the pheromones from another female (or females) can suppress the heat cycle in some females. For this reason, moving the dogs around or in more severe cases moving them to a new yard will often allow a female to again come in heat. This is often seen in wolves as well.
@@APBT-Bandog wow you are scientific person😝😝😝yes If you look at what I said, it is no different from superstition. It is enough for you to remember that there is a way like this once when there is no other way😄😄😄 thank you sir👍👍👍🔥🔥

How do I get in contact with you about a pup or 2
AmericanBandog.com
Nice!
Oh man, do I love this little warrior!!! And the icing on the cake: No barking; all energy reserved for fighting the threat!
Love watching these two play
nice video
They are dogs that have been taken out to exhibitions ,dogs that have been socialized with people ,they bark in their territory because thay have the guarding instinct ,but because they have been socialized with people, they are reluctant to bite !
Beautiful Dogs. Can I get a pup off of Wilson?
If I seen what I think I seen, you saved that agitator from getting caught. That's alot of dog and she ain't dumb. Maybe I'm wrong but it looked to me like she was about to outsmart the human. Impressive.
I like the way you did your kennels. The elevated platform that the houses sit on are nice. Does the welded wire on the kennel panels fully support the boards or is there support underneath it or support by other means. I’m working on a couple Prieferts that I’d like to do something like this to. Do you have a video on your kennel build? What are you using for your dividers between the runs? Sorry if I’ve perhaps overlooked the video if you’ve already shown the kennel build.
On our above ground kennels, we use “flattened” expand metal for the floor over supporting joints (treated lumber) and the side panels are welded 6 gauge wire supported again by treated lumber. The side panels in our chain link kennels are 24 gauge galvalum with edges folded so they are not sharp
@@APBT-Bandog Thank you for answering my question. This was very helpful. I enjoy learning from your videos especially the breeding and genetics videos because I know I’m getting good information from someone who actually knows what they’re talking about. God Bless!
rest in peace, Vicious
Can anybody explain like the last 3 minutes or so, I still don't get how he got 37.5%.
Count the generations to determine the exponent (square, cube, etc) of 1/2, then add all the paths together. 1/2 squared is 1/4 (one path to grandsire through sire) 1/2 cubed is 1/8th (another path to great grandsire through the mother) 1/4 + 1/8 = 3/8 = 0.375
@@APBT-Bandog appreciate it, I get it now.
So what would the 25% be thats leftover, if the sire is 75%? Is the dam the leftovet 25%? or is it a mixure of percentages that make up the leftover 25%?
