In this particular video, presentation was not square so his grip suffered as he didn’t get a good hold but that said, his bite is generally excellent.

Is their anything you would improve about Scratch,genetically and in his protection training?

Scratch is an apex animal. If I could change anything about him, it would have been my schedule during his development. I would love to have him being born right now as I now expect my schedule to finally start to lighten up. I also would like about 10 more pounds on him.

People think tail wagging means friendly, but it just means they enjoy it. These dogs are bred to be friendly and stable with the family while also enjoying conflict.

Great grip and determination. I'm not sure how i feel about him allowing himself to be picked and rolled on top of.

Is he allowing it if he is committed to staying in hold at the time and I had to push him out to swing him into a position where he could grab the dog? Like a cheetah hunting a gazelle, to win, do not release a solid grip.
