After playing guitar for a little while, I have to admit that poison. Ivy was pretty fucking good. I mean, she wasn't even looking at parts that are pretty difficult. She played basic shit. Don't get me wrong. She was no guitar genius, but she played basic parts so fucking well... And I tried to imagine she wasn't the sex God as she was.I'm just looking at her guitar playing and it was just pure rock and roll fun. I fucking love her

This is probably the best live version I’ve seen of ‘Mad Daddy’ and excellent visual and audio quality! I recently heard an interview with Lux and Ivy. ‘Mad Daddy’ was actually inspired by a radio DJ in Cleveland named Pete Myers who went by Pete ‘Mad Daddy’ Myers. Lux loved the radio show he put on back in the 50’s (late 50’s I believe). Thank you so much for sharing this. RIP Lux and much love to Ivy, the Queen of rock n’ roll! 🌹
