Hi Brian, you spoke at the end about you loving your experience in broadcast journalism. I want to become a sports broadcaster (the next stephen a smith). can you please talk about your experience in broadcast journalism and some things that are key in order to make it in that business. I am a freshman in college by the way and i’m on my college radio station and hosting a podcast. I’m also hopefully volunteering with the Brooklyn Nets this fall and working with college newspaper as well. Thank you for your videos, they are so informative and I can’t wait to binge watch more of them! Enjoy your 4th of July!

Hello, how are you? I hope you respond to my comment. I do not study sports management, and I want to become a football team manager. How can I start without obtaining a degree in this field? I am an anesthesiologist.

Very good advice. I’m 55, getting ready to go back to school to get my bachelors of Business degree in Sports Marketing and Media. I’ve done a little of everything, including create my own company working as an independent media outlet. At this age, the degree for me is more about personal achievement, learning more about business and being able to take younger professionals who want to work with sports and entertainment and give them an opportunity as part of my team. Any advice for me?

Hello Brian, I hope everything is going well. I have to say that your channel is one of the most comprehensive sports industry/career-related content platforms out there. I want to thank you because I've learned a lot as a newcomer in the sports business in the U.S. Also, I wanted to ask if you have a video related to international students trying to break through in the industry. I cannot imagine how hard it is for us, if even U.S. citizens struggle sometimes.

Brian, I have a question. What is the best way from going from part-time game-day staff Jobs to full-time roles? For example I have part-time jobs working guest relations at the Carolina Panthers/Charlotte FC games, another at the Charlotte Hornets stadium, and one at the local parks and recreation. However, I've been doing them for two years and need something that is full-time career. Also, it took me a long time to finish school but I do have a bachelor's degree in sports management and a master's in sport and fitness administration at age 30. I'm also a more reserved person so sales/marking wouldn't be my best bet.

Hello, I'm Asya Çulhaoğlu, born in 1999, and I have a strong background as a national team athlete in Turkey, particularly in track and field. I've had the privilege of competing in various championships during my high school years, winning multiple titles between 2014 and 2017. After graduating with honors from Ege University's Faculty of Sport Sciences, I pursued further studies as an Erasmus student at Lithuanian Sports University. During my academic journey, I've also earned a Physical Education Teaching Diploma from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Educational Sciences. My dedication to sports extends beyond my own athletic career; I've spent three years volunteering as a coach for various disciplines including athletics, gymnastics, yoga, swimming, and strength training across different age groups. Currently, I'm pursuing an International Master's Degree in Performance Analysis of Sport at Lithuanian Sports University, which involves collaborative education with institutions in Portugal and Germany. Given my passion for sports and performance analysis, I'm seeking part-time internship opportunities in any sports-related area where I can contribute my skills effectively. Could you provide any recommendations or guidance?

I was recently selected for my 2nd internship in sports for this summer. With a huge nationally recognized brand. My problem is, the internship is offering $30 an hour and i dont want to go back to the wages i earn now from my job. My case is specific. My internship is with the same company that i work full time for (for less money than the internship). Any tips on landing a full time job within the company or increasing my chances of landing a ful time role post internship.

Just to add, my full time role now is min wage on the retail side. The internship pays double, and I know once I make that for 3 months I'm not going to want to go back. Just trying to plan for the future

Hey @Brian! I'm an African who plays and likes football. However, due to my situation I couldn't concentrate on balling. Thus,I'm into entrepreneurship and more inclined with Sport management specifically; football Agent. I'm a graduate with a BSc. I see an opportunity in this Field as my country has numerous talented lads who lack an opportunity to play in the best leagues compared to our own League. I'm motivated to help them while helping myself alone as a business. How can I start this journey?
