My name is Anita, I am in my sixties and a Senior doing Carnivore after having gone from low carb to keto to ketovore and now Carnivore. I have lost over 145lbs over the course of the past few years and I feel pretty darn fantastic!
The goal of this channel is to make Carnivore more accessible to the average person who has found themselves getting older
and sicker and finds the idea of just eating meat to be too overwhelming. I am here for YOU.
I am doing this while also feeding others in my family who do all flavors of keto, paleo and there's even a vegetarian in the mix. I try to give multiple options for cooking meals to keep them all happy!
I am not a professional cook, my only training is Home Ec in Grade 8 and 40+ years of cooking for my 4 kids! I'm just sharing things that help me stay on track and learning to cook the keto, carnivore and animal based lifestyle.

Anita love your video. I can not get rid of it all as I have a husband who will NOT eat this way so he eats a SAD and I have lots of pasta , bread , rice... etc in the house. But I am doing my best to make it through. 30 lbs down this year. You have been a big inspiration to me!!!
😊❤❤
Trying to download it can you tell me how please I want to do this again need help with downloading
Thinking about giving carnivore a try! Love listening to you.
Anita I love your channel, all your recipes, I’m 58 so I can relate to us older women, I have been way off track, this video is just what I needed I only watch a couple of carnivore videos because to much info, your simple that’s what works🥰🥰🥰🥰
I just finished my first batch of L.Reuteri yogurt and it came out great! I had no separation of whey at all! However, I noticed that when I removed the jars from the yogurt maker and removed the loose lids from the tops, I found that there was a good amount of condensation on the top of each yogurt. I carefully tipped each jar to pour that water off, although you can’t get it all without disrupting (and pouring out) the yogurt. I dried off the tops and snapped them onto the jars before putting them into the refrigerator. Did you have that condensation issue also?
Anita, there's a KZreadr called El Paso Manual Physical Therapy that has great videos on knee therapy exercises. They really helped me. I had been to 2 physical therapists and wasn't improving when I found him now, I'm mostly without pain anymore.
what if i dont have vitamix or ninja mixer?? i have a food processor and bullet.
Just found your site. How long did it take you to lose your weigit😊
You always make me smile, the extra stuff for giggles makes it so fun and its like talking to an old friend. You are awesome! Thank you so much for making these videos, and keeping it real
Anita, my wife & I have a weekly lunch at the James Bay Inn (restaurant side). For the last couple of years I'v been ordering my 'carnivore special'. It is a 6 oz top sirloin steak sandwich, which normally comes on a piece of garlic toast, topped with onion rings, and served with chips or salad. I order it rare, sans toast, sans onion rings, sans chips / salad. Instead,I have it served with fried mushrooms & onions (2 oz MAX) and 3 bacon strips. (my one concession each week to plant food but I love the taste of fried onions &mushrooms). They are VERY accommodating and don't charge me extra for the bacon. When we go there for brekkie (before 11:30 AM), I order the Ultimate Canadian which is 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, hash browns & toast. I exchange the 2 carbs for 1 (or 2) more eggs, a 3rd sausage and a 3rd strip of bacon. 😀👍 If anyone in Victoria is looking for a good place for brekkie/lunch, Id' recommend them.
I have eaten there many times! Before I moved to Victoria I always stayed there when visiting my sons! Not sure if you know but there is a good carnivore community here on the Island. It's the British Columbia Carnivores Group on facebook.
@@KetogenicWoman I'm already a BC Carnivores Facebook member!😃👍
Thank you Anita, I will definitely be making these. Question: do you know if nutmeg is a common ingredient in sausage? I was surprised to see it used, but I never made sausage before. 😊
I'm not sure! It's just how I've always done it!
Thank you Anita. Such great advice. I’m just starting carnivore diet and fasting, I have small cell lung cancer so I’m trying to slow the progression down, my dream is to eliminate it 💯
I guess I’m just fat 😂😂 my body doesn’t do that
Thank you. This was so helpful! Now I know I’m definitely not eating enough fat😬
looks good - glad I found it. Maybe revisit now - do some oldie but goodies in 2024
You look great. Especially your hair 😊😊
Thank you so much!
I love salmon cooked in a foil pouch with mayo, dill and a bit of lemon juice. Can also add a small amount of sweetener (actual recipe calls for honey). Soo good.
I go to my butchers and get beef fat and cut it up and put it in the slow cooker and boom beef fat in a jar,and when its cooled I put it in fridge and it goes nice and hard untill melted . It's really tasty too
I love to chop up the eggs in an egg slicer and mix with mayonnaise. In fact, I need to make some now, I ate the rest for breakfast.
Great tips! You're such an inspiration😊
Great video, thanks for sharing! The only thing is, sardines have around half the fat of mackerel, so they wouldn't be a good substitute
Just made these with chopped pork rinds and choc chip; yum!
Thank you for this video. Your channel is one I go to often for encouragement!
You’re amazing ❤
Anita, that was the best video! I’m going to mark this one to send to all my friends that are curious about my way of eating. Thank you so much for this one and for all your videos.… By the way you make my husband think I’m a great cook. Thank you for the recipes as well.
Haha, I love that! Thank you!
These look delicious! Looking forward to trying!
Can you just melt the butter and talloy in the microwave, stir and poor into molds? Just thinking about cleanup and not getting the kitchen hot in the summer. I'm transitioning from Keto to Carnivore and working my way through all you videos, thank you for these great "how to" videos.
I like to slightly brown the milk proteins in the butter and not sure what happens in the microwave with that. But sure, just be cautious so it doesn't overflow and get too hot.
Thanks Anita. Your leadership has help me. You inspire and support so many. Thank you!
Will totally use them to serve with tartar and egg yolk. Maybe will try to add a few drop of Worcestershire sauce, pepper and coriander(like biltong)to the meat before drying Thanks again great advice
Every time I see those two photos of you I’m blown away. What an amazing journey. It doesn’t even seem possible that your “before” picture is you!! Always an inspiration!!!!
Congratulations I know how hard it is to lose weight and you look amazing. And to get online and share your story you are so brave. And I hope that you inspire so many people.
Brilliant! And I love your editing with fast time chatter. :)
Gear video ❤. I am restarting so helpful were the five tips ❤
Hi Anita, you look wonderful! I love your new hairstyle, it is most becoming on you 🌸 Thank you for the good advice and inspiration. You give me hope!
32 days and not even a pound or inch down. Will continue but i’m worry
I know that is frustrating and I hope that you are feeling better in other ways. Sometimes healing does come first before the weight loss. Don't give up because there is more to learn, hope you stick around for the good stuff that will happen eventually if you stay the course.
Thank you for sharing!
I use dehydrate for yogurt, just drop temperature to lowest temp 40c
Great tips. Thanks.
I just love it when you talk about canned fish your face lights up ❤
Haha! Cans of fish make me feel so good! 😅
Love this!! You are an inspiration!!
Thanks so much for your word of encouragement. Been keto since 2016, met goal, & have since maintained but am ready for my next journey. I'm 72 & it is never to late to start 😄
