  Why does the boiler need to be pressurised in order for the hot taps to work? surely the central heating system is separate to the hot taps system, isn't it? And we're pressurising the heating system and not the hot water. I'm baffled. please explain.

  i live in high rise block of flats i dont think combi can cope and may keep failing to work what can be done now council has just installed this combi system?

  Nice one! Really helpful. Have repressurised many a boiler at the start (and sometimes during) each winter, but couldn't work out which tap was which on this one. Gave up reading the manual after 20mins, and sorted it within seconds of watching this video. Thanks for uploading 👏

  What is the main reason for pressure loss though?? Mine did not lose any pressure during summer, and now autumn is here it starts to lose pressure !

  Thank you, now got hot water. It's very annoying when your boiler starts playing up in mid September as opposed to mid April 🙄😆😩😭😭

  You need to invest in some lapel microphones if you are going to be doing more of these sorts of pieces. Not complaining, but would like to hear them better without having to turn my volume right up. PS Good to see this investment

  Thanks for this video, I tried to raise the pressure by turning the black knobs but they seem to turn without an ‘end’ turn (sorry not a technical term). Is this normal? Please, could anyone advise on what to do?

  Hi, that's a really helpful video but I have a question: I have located the filling loop on my boiler, however, one of the tap valves has no plastic end attached to it to open it. What can I do in this case?

  Wish some one would have done something similar in the 1950's ! All independent shops then . Not Estate Agents , Charity Shops , Nail/ Beauty Bars and Hairdressers . There were butcher's galore , shoe shops , tailors , record shops ( Sissons/Rediffusion ) pet shop , newsagents , toy shops , fishmongers .... the list is endless . Proper shops they were . And the market was a proper market with proper bargains , stall owners calling out their wares . All gone forever .
