While I do agree with most of these points, in the comics Barry is very empathetic towards villains and usually talks with them to try to convince them to change their ways, so stopping talk is kind of in character for him. This show does overdo it to an extreme though.

It still doesn't make sense no matter how you put it, Barry uses the law of mass x acceleration in the first season to beat the metal guy, yet the show doesnt acknowledge that Barry alone IS that fast, he is instantaneously acceleration, each punch from him could send anyone flying. Not to mention, according to the Flash's canon. His brain enters a zone state kinda thing where it just shuts off so to him it appears fast and slow at the same time in a sense, he's practically operating under ultra instinct and has the power to send you flying with a single touch. Why the fuck would you make an episodes conclusion dedicated to acknowledging this and then proceeding to fucking never do it again.

Bad magic systems are the death of me. Is it really that hard, to think about the implications of a spell? You cant literally do whatever you want with your magic system. It can solve any problem you want or create any that you need. You can shape it the way you want it to be. Its like playing with sand. And exactly like sand, you have to think about how to construct it. If you dont, it will crumble at the slightest touch. Btw, my favourite fu*kup in a magic system is in Skyrim. They have a commonly available spell, which turns steel, an abundant resource, into gold. The operate on a gold-based economy. Fun, right?

Ok theres a small little issue with the first episode that madvocate (and the writers) forgot about, but this tiny little detail might break both this season and the entire show. After retrieving Barry from the speedforce they put him in a containment chamber for safety reasons as his mind was kinda fried, but if we take a look back to the previous seasons, it is established that those containment chambers are near indestructible and capable of withstanding any kind of meta powers. They had speedsters and other metas locked up in there, hell even reverse flash was imprisoned once in one of those. But apparently Barry can headbutt the security glass with superspeed and shatter the entire thing in a million pieces with no problem whatsoever
