Is this a police interrogation? I know John and the Beetles 🪲 are massive icons but this interview just comes off as a police interrogation by the the interviewer, it’s a bit of a weird interview. And another thing why are they walking 🚶‍♀️ about on the beach 🏖?

The kind of performance that kept them from making it. A year later the band turned a corner for awhile and SLAYED with a live album opening for REM but then Precoda left the band and they devolved back into meh. I can't imagine how amazing it has to be to be THIS CLOSE but no closer....

Man! How fantastic and cool it was to see this!! I've been a major fan of this incredible Double Live RCA LP since finding it in a stack of records that my brother in law had just acquired in late 1974. To this day, it's my favorite! And it brings us the greatest Rock Star in full powerful voice, delivering lines that can melt people at 100 paces! And Earl Slick's MONSTER lead guitar runs inspired my own future with the instrument! Again, i have never seen this commercial. And I want you thank you for posting it. Awesome! Marc ⚡

I remember when Duncan joined, I can appreciate a band trying to reinvent itself, but the truth is it rarely works and this didn't. I wouldn't have changed the name to just the Rollers cause nobody knew who the were, obviously, and they strayed to far away from the look. They spent a decade trying to find their way back, luckily in the 90's they kinda came back. The songs are good, the 2nd actually still has a Bay City Rollers sound to it.

Wow y'all. Here's my two cents:(1). I believe they're both playing ridiculous twists on "the straight man". (2). They are not "messing" with each other as their primary objective; they're "messing" with US! C'mon y'all, don't you hear all the hidden, absurd, dry ass comedic commentary, disguised as droll, lazy, nearly clever, blow-hard chest-thumping? But none of it ever really takes, for either of them? Cuz they're constantly working us, together to that absurdist humored end! 😮🙃 I say to them both:BRAVO! Excellently pulled fast one!😂😂

He should have been going strong from 1980 to 1983 for some reason he just faded away ..he should have been living in Los Angeles or something.. there were still so many good musicians back then it's kind of in excusable that he wasn't at the top of the charts between 1980 and 1983

They wanted to promote some low class third grade piano playing by Billy Joel.. notice how when Eric Carmen faded away by late 1978 it was non-stop Billy Joel with his crass third grade low class music that appealed to the lowest people
