THIRTY DOLLARS? in canada those 7 cans of paint and 2 brushes would LITERALLY cost over a $150 cdn!

would jacking up the chassis have helped you situate the top mount in without having to strong arm compress it down ?

This episode brought me here. Recently picked up a 1993 f150 XL with 35,000 original miles on it. Sat since 2004 and all I did was put a radiator, hoses, thermostat and water pump and new tires. It's mint i drive it all the way to work. It's a testament to the true reliability to these old trucks. Going this week to pick up a 95. Super excited. Love your videos inspired me to share my experiences.

I totally understand. I think you made the correct decision! If anything, go out there and make some money. Put some aside. With any luck, you could buy a driver Mach 1 and you could take the two of them for some rides in the future! They aren’t far away really. They are probably living right there in that pole barn you’re standing in right now! You’ve had your fair share of hard times. None of this is your fault! Get yourself a different ride that is within your wheelhouse skill level wise. Work on her when you can. They’ll ride with ya! That was a huge undertaking for a restoration project. I mean, guys that have serious shops full of equipment. Parts fabrication machines. Correct gauges of materials. Hired help. On and on and on. Get a rust free roller. Go from there. I think you owe it to yourself!

It’s a very cool truck, I have the same one a shortbox flareside with 300 I6 and 5 spd manual, my fuel guage hasn’t worked in agaes I just watch my mileage. It is the most reliable truck I have ever owned and I’ve had many I’m in my 60’s The spot on your air filter is oil from the pcv vent that has the small filter inside the air cleaner box I knew that truck would run as soon as I saw the truck, it’s just what they do

Hey Man, What's up? I just started watching your videos today on the 93 f150 ! Awesome job by the way !. I watched all of them to the one where you took her home! & I hafta tell you watching the look on your face when you turned the corner & remembered that you learned how to drive in that truck was sooo cool!!!!. I have a 1978 F150 that my Father bought new, & I have it now since he has passed away. I remember having those same thoughts go through my mind driving the Ole Girl out in the country where I would get behind the wheel !!. I've never commented on anyone's video before, but I felt I needed to with yours !. Keep up the good work & the positive attitude!!!

If you don't just love working on cars for fun... then wrenching on THAT one would be a very lonely self-imposed exile of forced labor, surrounded by ghosts.
