  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Warhammer community came a long way I remember when one guy brought his gf in 1997 to our hobby shop and the uncomfortability was literally oozing from all the patrons and shop owners - we didnt know how to handle the female energy of one human being in our murky games workshop store - super awkward bunch of nerds hahaha - love it

  I like your way of reasoning and it feels very grounded in how the game works. Real good advice mixed with some opinion but always clear what you're trying to communicate each time. Keep it up! I'm about to try to play Drukhari for the first time and this video validated my thoughts. I've played against Drukhari half a dozen times with my Astra Militarum army and the elves never seem to be able to crack the tanky stuff. So I've challenged myself to create an army that would be able to eradicate though units and vehicles and get to borrow a friends to play against his Space Wolves. So far it's easy, but I've come to hesitate between Haywire or Dark/Heat-lances. Anti-vehicle and dev-wounds are great but the lances wound everything, given that they only shoot half the number of shots and truly dislike invulnerable saves. Against Space Wolves I'm guessing Haywire might be better with all the invulns and no monsters, only vehicles, but I want a list that's usable against every army. Is there any consensus in the community for what weapons to use. In my case it's for the Talos (bringing 2 x 2) since I want to try Scourges with lances to keep them outside overwatch if I can.

  Sorry to um-actually, but I had an argument about this recently, and had to whip out the books. 43:00 Heroic intervention states "your unit does not receive any Charge bonus this turn.", Now the "Charge bonus" is the rule that applies Fights first to a unit that charged (p29). Thus all other rules that activate upon charging still apply, for example lance.

  Yep, I’ve done a how to build a competitive Custodes list video recently, so you can check it out for my full opinion. Otherwise - I think the optimal build Custodes (wardens, Caladius, venatari) are more than playable, but i really want them to get more variety back. Make Allarus more playable, make bikes playable, make LR better at shooting, make dreads playable again

  As a Guard player, may I humbly suggest; Shadowsword+Daring Recon+Take Aim!+Fields of Fire. Guaranteed to knock 24-48 wounds off any armour without an invun each shooting phase.

  Not really that difficult now I’ve heard. Russia is a great place, with its upsides and downsides as anywhere, just like the U.S. But if you really want to do it, you are not going to regret it I think

  I’m watching this in August (just found the channel as I’m only now getting into Warhammer, Adeptus Custodes are my first army, followed by Imperial Knights, I have a Canis Rex on the way) and the Xmas music in the background is just great. I hope you do another with Xmas music in the background so I can watch in December and enjoy it to the fullest.

  Great BR again. Knights vs. Thousand Sons, with a glorious 1st shooting phase!! Sometimes it takes more guns to pin one mutalisk down... But Canis Rex evened the score! Well done! Might have been the other way around... In the first shooting phase, if the Sons would have started off first... 😊 Anyway.. Great job on the paint scheme! Those Thousand Sons look great!

  Didn't watched yet, but there is no way that knights can handle it TS are OP 😭 (Edit after watching): Well😂 I guess heavy weaponry kinda nerfed them Canis denying half of doombolt was brutal 🤣 Also I'm not sure if Magnus kill was right. You counted melta with d6+6 and not d6+4, didn't you?

  A transport is actually really bad for azrael. If he’s in a transport you don’t get his bonus command point, so if you’re going to have to put whatever unit he’s in inside a transport, it’s probably more worth it to just choose a different unit that doesn’t need a transport.

  Yes, you miss out on 1CP potentially (because you still are likely to discard a card and get that CP) but his mobility becomes much-much better

  IMO the landraider is over hyped. Yea it got a good stat line and best flamers in the game. But people know what it is and often focus fire it. Its a hard model to hide due to its large footprint and thus I dont usually have it last pass turn 2 or 3

  @@vfminiatures as my collection is old (been playing spacewolves since 2nd edition). I'm thinking of running a champion sof russ list with bjorn, harald deathwolf, wolf guard battle leader on Thunderwolf (with black death thunderhammer), ragnar, ulrik then for troops 10 wolf guard with shields for ulrik and a rhino, 5 wolf guard with shield for ragnar with a razor back, 10 wilfen, 6 thunderwolves, 2 predator destructors, 1 predator anniolator, 1x5 man infiltrators pack, 1 x 5 man scout squad, and 1 x 5 man assault intercessors with jump packs. Might try rapid ingress the razor back with ragnar squad to try and get at the enemy home objective. Or might switch out bjorn for murder fang to do the rapid ingress thing and use a strat to give him 1 OC and the other strat to murder move 6 inches after a combat to get into another combat and trigger him to fight again after he's attacked.... (undecided).

  Would something like Adarax with 5 Assault Intercessors work as well as captein with assault intercessors? Then they would get rerolls to wound no matter what and adarax has a scary weapon profile

  His hammer is A5 S10 D3. I guess vs. toughness 8, 9 and 10 it might be pretty good. Much weaker against higher toughness and lacking dev wounds is also a drawback, but if he surives the combat he is still better than the captein

  @@vfminiatures Thanks, I also got the impression that the BGV are much better with adarax. At the moment I do not have any BGV, so my options are: Stern guard, Infernus, Intercessors or assault intercessors. I assumed that Assault Intercessors would perform best as they have the best melee profile, are the cheapest and are battleline. The overlap is annoying and it makes me feel like I am wasting pts, however it is probably the best option for me in this case. It is for an escalation league btw
