I have no idea who you are, I have no idea why you appeared in my feed, especially since it appears that your typical content focuses on all things I detest; that being any media classified as fantasy/sci-fi, I refuse to read or watch anything featuring dragons, hobbits, trolls, sea monsters, time travel, light, lightsabers, magic spells, wizards, etc. However, I am obsessed with disasters and stories of how the struggle breaks you and builds you. It magnifies our complexities, how we are frail.and resilient; hopeful, and fatalistic; confident and ashamed; invigorated, and apathetic. Rarely does a story capture the authentic tension that is both ripping you apart and growing you. You are a marvelous storyteller. This took a lot of bravery and I thank you for going there and for sharing it with us all.

My husband was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2001. Two years treatment, lots of surgeries, heavy chemical treatments and lots of radiation and diet change he is still here very alive. We celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary in October. There is always hope. God bless.

I still cant understand all this talk about Nynaeve/Elayne/Egwene being unlikable. These are characters with deep frustrations. One of them always got their way before (being the Healer) and is now considered a nobody with a block, a wilder. One of them was a sheltered princess who is now having to deal with stuff way above her paygrade and experience. One of them is being constantly humbled over and over again and does things to learn whatever she can in the process, and still be pragmatic - thats Egwene. Sorry, but I'm on the eight or ninth reread, and I still enjoy their bickering, their frustrations, and these chapters are so much more complex than any of the "oh no, I want to run away from responsibility" of Mat's, for example.

I'm happy to see you, and I'm sad that things are not going well. Wish you strength and luck. And now I'm a bit upset I can't read Sanderson. You speak about him very enthusiastic, and I believe his stories contain many great things, but... It's like having strawberry allergy and watching a tasty cake with a lot of strawberries. Anyway, you story about Sanderson's story is interesting by itself, I enjoyed. Thanks for the video! Oh, and about music, because you asked. I personally would prefer no music at all.

I can’t help but cite Tolkien’s On Fairy Stories when you’re talking about the importance of stories, of making and interacting with the made. We don’t consider forests less enchanting, but more, because we read about enchanted forests. Love the video as always; thanks for deepening my enjoyment of an already favorite book. (As an aside, my partner is soon to be a professor at UW, so I’ll be seeing those buildings with a new lens.)

Great video! About Fjon assassinating Hrathen at the end. I think it is ment as a hint about magic (same as ChayShan and Dakhor). Fjon was sent to Teod by Wyrn to wait for Hrathen and we as readers know that Hrathen isnt even supposed to be in Teod at all. That implies some sort of ability to fortell the future that Wyrn has at his disposal.

Till book 6 (Lord of Chaos), I felt that Pedron Niall was the most foolish leader of this world, in the sense that he did not know and was unwilling to learn anything about the world outside his own narrative. He was described as an old man who was a brilliant military commander who has won many battles. So, it can be inferred that he would have seen a lot of the world, including some bizarre happenings. However, he did not believe any reports, even by his verified personnel sources, that did not align with his own thoughts, especially if it could have hindered his ambitions. But after this book (Crown of Swords), Elaida surely takes the top spot. I am surprised at how anyone supported her, on her road to the Amyrlin seat. On the same lines, I am even more surprised on how Sevanna is a leader of the Shaido Aiel. Even the Wise Ones, who have generally shown to take no non-sense, support her and at many times are afraid of her.

Also really enjoyed how you drew on other sources and things like philosophy to analyze the story. Lots of great details and connections you made.

If you mentioned it, I didn’t catch it, but Jordan explicitly discusses a number of the Aes Sedai having very fluid sexualities. Tarna, for example, was courted by Galina to be her “pillow friend”. The “honey in the tea” chapter is full of the Aes Sedai discussing who was sleeping with whom.

Yeah, as much as I've enjoyed Sanderson so far, you can definitely tell the difference when someone like Jordan or Tolkien takes the wheel, at least when it comes to the military aspects of the work.

You say a lot of good stuff. Speaking a bit slower would help. Also, Men carry sun energy - Women's chakras are flowers that want to open to receive the sun. Women are the womb of creation. We don't need amateurs trying to muddle up Platonic Archetypes. Suffering and endless frustration comes from dabbling.

I’ve never encountered a related work that has increased my appreciation for the primary text more-thank you. I think AMOL highlights Sanderson’s strengths tremendously: no one provides a better dopamine cascade via plot/character interwoven beats, and so the Last Battle is thrilling in a way that feels amazing, but perhaps isn’t entirely appropriate for Jordan’s world and the tone he brings regarding war and violence. And yeah there’s the problem of writing the greatest military mind in history when you’re... not that, but still a very mechanically motivated author. I think Sanderson himself gets this. He’s said that the tactics in Stormlight are intentionally so alien that his ignorance of real-world tactics just doesn’t show. I’ll be thrilled to see what you think of those books when you get to them, but I’ll eagerly watch whatever you write next.

Heyo, I usually do this write up for people as I think the information is helpful to anyone dealing with a health crisis. I'm going to recommend to you a diet to follow by a man named Aajonus Vonderplanitz, he passed in the early 2013 in an "accident" if you know what I mean. This way of eating has changed many lives including my own and I believe in it wholeheartedly. Please consider together if you'd be willing to give this a go! To put it short, Aajonus created the primal diet. He dealt with terminal illness and was resigned to death at a young age, he was able to heal from his ailments and recover. He also treated and healed many peoples cancer which doctors had been unable to treat within the medical system. The diet is based on high quality raw animal foods. This means raw meats and organs, raw eggs, raw milk, cheese and butter. Fruits are also allowed, but I am unsure if they would be included in a cancer protocol. I've ate this way for years because nothing makes me feel as good. If you'd like more information you can search his name online and find his lectures and some of the information, though censorship does make some of it hard to find. If you'd like more info, my email is ([email protected]) I am happy to send you a document containing all the information on the diet. Availability of some of these foods may be dependant on where you live, nonetheless.. I am giving you this information because most of the time people don't want to consider that raw animal foods are healing, yet I believe that in a situation where one is faced with death they are much more open to finding ways to live. Cheers, take care. <3

From one guy who thinks he knows a thing or two about love to another, you have my utmost respect. I watched 20 minutes. I cried. Your delivery of such incredibly heavy subjects in such a calm yet.... implicative manner is admirable. I dont know why this was recommended to me, but there are more dire mysteries. I pray that the good in humanity prevails and no greedy piece of shit pharma head stops our brightest minds from finding ways to save your wife and people like her. I dream of a world where love can flourish unhindered by disease. I think people, Americans anyways are waking up to the fact that the deepest possible connection is everything. You found it. To have to lose it, so early, before there was any sight of feeling encumbered by it all.... Man, I cant imagine. I dont want to. My last girlfriend absolutely ripped my heart out, and I barely knew her. But we went through some intense shit together, and formed a tight bond. And I know that if I had spent 10 years with her, it would be 10 times as bad. It's very rare to hear of relationships failing past 5 years or so. But to go that far and NEVER. GET TIRED OF TALKING. NEVER. STOP CRAVING THEIR INTERACTION....Man, it's my dream. I wanna see honest love flourish, and I want a piece of that pie too. Youre a legend man, and if you ever lose your way, just think back to that one episode of AoT where the bitch (Mikasa) decides that the world is too fucked, that fighting isnt worth the pain, and that she couldnt make a difference anyways, as she hung her head, admitting defeat in front of a monster. That is, until her body had other plans. The monster was ready to kill her. She couldnt fathom it, but for some reason, virtually against her will, one of her legs kicked down hard and threw her out of the way. Literally just putting one leg in front of the other for a single day is all it takes to give the old adage time to ring true, that time heals all wounds. It worked for Mikasa; that simple bodily action of putting one leg in front of the other gave her mind time to credit itself properly and realize that she was still strong. I've had some lows. But you know what, life was meant to be a rollercoaster. If you're at an all time low, then a statistics major smarter than me could tell you that the odds of sinking any further are negligible. And if you can just put forth the negative amount of effort that it takes to put one leg in front of the other, you will figure it out tomorrow. And if you dont figure it out tomorrow, then at least you will feel a little better, and you'll start putting one leg in front of the other a little faster, and pretty soon, you'll be running to new horizons. Look at how creative you are. The way you talk about the relationship you have with your wife defines creativity. And given that honest love is a two-way street, I already know for a fact and beyond any shadow of doubt that you are bright enough that you will figure out what to do, if you just give it time. *alt+3 except it's still ASCII*

In case she took the mRNA shot, maybe check the igg blood levels particularly igg4 and spike protein levels, if they are high, there are things that can be done to restore the immune system and hope it starts to fight back the cancer, in case that's what got compromised, rare cancers are known to rear up in immune system failures. I'm not a doctor or oncologist so please ask their advice, I just do my own reading and other research on this distressing stuff. Sorry the authorities are completely failing to do any studies as to whether the shots are related or not, it's baffling that they even suppress and discourage own research which might stand a chance of saving somebody somewhere.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and I hope you're doing... as well as a person could, under the circumstances. I keep trying to think of what I'd want someone to say to me if I wind up in this position, but I really can't think of anything. I wish I could help somehow. We have nothing but good things to say about MD Anderson, they've done a fantastic job for us (Fred Hutch handles our day-to-day meds and facilitates infusions, but MD Anderson coordinates our plan.)
