You should do a go around, i just bought it and the plane did not perform the go around as expected, and could not reprogram the fms for another approach.

Was this an autoland? Did you do anything when landing that we couldn't see, like reducing power? What would a manual landing be like? Do I just disconnect AP and A/T?

Hi! This was a manual landing. All you need to do is disconnect the autopilot when you hear MINIMUMS, and then pull the throttles back to idle when you are 50 to 30ft above the ground. No need to disconnect AT, it gets disconnected automatically.

Are you on Windows or Mac? Pressing TAB should be all you need to do. You could also try to go to the Settings on top of the X-Plane screen and click Plugins > E-175 (or E195) Options Configuration and try both Enable TAB Hotkey or Disable TAB Hotkey. See if that makes a difference. When you disable it, you might also want to try to press the CAPS LOCK key to see if that helps. So X-Crafts, On the old version where it was only for XP11 i was pretty sure there was a custom FMS. I now see on the new updated free one having the default X-Plane FMS. Could you implement a feature where you could probably switch it or could you give a reason, This might just be too much but if you can i'd appreciate it. Thanks, X-Craft.

Hi there, the reason for the change is that the previous custom FMS crashes the sim in X-Plane 12, and the developer who created the previous custom FMS is no longer available to fix it. Therefore I opted for the Default FMS, which is actually more capable than the custom one. @@xcrafts_development I did found a patch somewhere in the X-Plane fourms, It was like a patch for apt.dat on earth nav data. Still do have the free non updated 2.5. Dont know if this is like something that could possibly fix the MCDU. But i still have the old one and it still runs perfect, Even the old MCDU still works. I could send it if you'd like.

Is it possible top load a planned c/o route in the fms by entering the dep/arr airportes in the free version?.. like EDDF-EDDM? in the standard planes of xplane it loads the data .fms from the xplane 12 folder thx for any information :)

I'm not familiar with that, however the FMS is exactly the same one as you would find in the default 737, so if that FMS can do it, the one in these Free E-Jets can do it as well :)

I'm a beginner in Xplane 12, and you explained in this video that you won't be able to fly this flight plan in the future! Is this why I can't fly a flight I see on youtube and set up on the G1000? I can't set some approaches exactly like in the video!

Hi there, there may have been some confusion. The route could change due to the real airport in the real world changing or updating the departure or arrival procedures, but that means that the FMS might show you an updated procedure with a very similar name but a higher number, so for example the SID would be LEGL2V, instead of the LEGL1V now. But you would just select that. I'm not sure what you meant by the G1000, this airplane doesn't use the G1000 GPS. Are you sue you are using the correct aircraft? Free E-Jets by X-Crafts v3.0 for X-Plane 12?

@@xcrafts_development I received your email today with the X-Plane 12_ Free Embraer E-Jets by X-Crafts v3.0.0 and installed them this afternoon! Flying with it has not been possible yet! I also just bought the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant yesterday, but I haven't fully set it up yet! The G1000 is the Cessna Skyhawk (G1000) from X plane 12 where I didn't find some procedures. Thanks for explaining why the SID gets a higher number with an update.

Don't get me wrong. It's a nice gesture for the people who want to try some E-Jet flying. Nevertheless it's a little irritating for me and some people in discord who purchased the not that cheap payware version that a team of this size has the time to release freeware stuff even though we are waiting for a lot of announced features like Glide Path und Curved RNP approach mode, FMS Speed, Steep Approach, fly-over-waypoints, ILS autotuning, holdings and so on.

But you'll be happy to know that the Free E-Jets were entirely updated by me only (Marko) in my spare time, and none of the other members of the team worked on this. Therefore, the Free E-Jets didn't delay the other projects that the rest of the team is working on at all. We're doing our best to make as much progress as possible, and I'm glad you are eagerly awaiting the next version!

VNAV is already in our E-Jets :) FMS Speed is being beta tested right now and it is almost ready, but our next version v1.1.0 is huge and there are many other features that need to be tested and the main reason for it not being released immediately is that it's my wedding in 2 weeks, and we're going on a honeymoon so we won't be able to test as much during that time.

We do plan to eventually work on the E2 variants, however, that would be in the distant future. Developing the E2 would take a few years. Right now, we want to focus on improving the E-Jets E1 and ERJs as much as possible. We want to be able to always provide the most authentic experience of flying these jets and there are many areas in which we can still get better. So that is the plan for the next few years. Plus since the E2s are pretty new, there isn't enough information, and there aren't that many pilots who could help us develop them at the level that would match the E1. Additionally, the E2 has many new parts, like new wings, new belly, new landing gear, and an almost entirely different cockpit, so it will pretty much be like creating a while new add-on. Are you using the payware or freeware E-Jets? The Freeware E-Jets don't have the EFB.

Congrats for the anniversary!! Now, please, add the E2 to the family.
We do plan to eventually work on the E2 variants, however, that would be in the distant future. Developing the E2 would take a few years. Right now, we want to focus on improving the E-Jets E1 and ERJs as much as possible. We want to be able to always provide the most authentic experience of flying these jets and there are many areas in which we can still get better. So that is the plan for the next few years. Plus since the E2s are pretty new, there isn't enough information, and there aren't that many pilots who could help us develop them at the level that would match the E1. Additionally, the E2 has many new parts, like new wings, new belly, new landing gear, and an almost entirely different cockpit, so it will pretty much be like creating a while new add-on.
