All that 1987 money on the table is probably enough to buy a 2024 3 bed 2 bath starter home in bidenomics.

I never really looked into it but I heard a rumor that the original cut of this movie was so violent they had to go back and edit it to tone it down just to get an R rating otherwise it would've been considered "Adult Content" X rated just based off violence.

The lack of music really adds to the brutality of the scene. I think a score at this part would lessen the effect.

Most realistic robocop movie and the best one, when Murphy throws clerence here and there, he is not flying but rather thrown by a robo man... Best movie of it's time

Imagine if RoboCop had busted the dinosaur black market of the 2022 film "Jurassic World Dominion" and arrested one of the dealers who was working for Biosyn Genetics CEO Lewis Dodgson. Of course, RoboCop would have to travel all the way to Malta in order to do so, but if the dinosaur black market was at a secret location in Detroit and RoboCop had tracked down the dealer there, then he wouldn't have to travel to Malta to arrest him. What no one realizes is that these tricks RoboCop is using is actually Murphy’s personality rising from the ashes imitating T.J. Lazer going after the bad guys.

Kurtwood Smith did a great job as the cocky, aggressive crime boss Clarence Boddicker. But originally he auditioned for the role of OCP Vice President, Dick Jones. It was only later that he discovered he got the part of Boddicker instead because Verhoeven thought that with his glasses on, Smith resembled Nazi, Heinrich Himmler. For the shoot, Smith was given rim-less glasses similar to the type worn by Himmler and the idea was that they make Boddicker look smart and intelligent and much more threatening
