    Every dog owner should learn how to gain their dogs trust and be able to do everything said here.. it’s disturbing to think it’s NORMAL for dogs to not allow their humans to do everything like grabbing their tail or rubbing their belly. If a dog doesn’t allow you to do any of these things or looks uncomfortable then THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG and the owners must learn how to be around their dogs .. And gain complete trust and respect from their dogs.. As for the tail thjng just rub the back and continue to the tail.. I take stitches out when they have operations.. on their stomachs usually.. and this would be impossible if the dogs didn’t trust me. I take blood to send for tests which would not be possible if I didn’t have their trust.. I have a power breed and are 75kg’s and they ram the fence when strangers are there but when I go outside they immediately come to me.. because I WILL HANDLE IT.. and they know it.. they are alert but stop going nuts when I’m there BECAUSE THEY TRUST ME.. and THIS is the sign of trust.. and I don’t say a word.. NOT A WORD.. Again, it’s disturbing to think any of these signs of trust mentioned here is an issue for anyone with a dog.. except if it’s a new dog.. and the original owners didn’t know what they were doing.. Even my pups at 8 weeks old are bullet proof and allow all of this.. and are semi trained .. and comfortable with absolutely everything.. even litters of 16 which isn’t easy..

    I was a "cat person" for a very long time. It wasn't until I started pet sitting, and until I got my own dog as a puppy that I've realized I'm just an animal person. My husband and I have 2 German Shepherds, our first from a breeder (she's 6 now) and our 2nd was adopted (he'll be 4 in July). I have anxiety problems, and my girl always knows when I'm struggling and will come comfort me. If I have a panic attack, she's there doing anything she can from licking me to pulling my hair to help me come out of it. They are very incredible creatures.

He bonds very deeply, has a job watching the house, loves and looks after small children. I take him to hospitals and he visits and helps sick kids. They call him Scooby cause that is how he acts. We hike up and down mountains. He was challenging as a puppy, we loved him then too, and we kept with the things suggested in this video. He is a life saving hero now.

    🥰 My pup does trust falls with me all the time. She’s a tiny little shih tzu (7# purebred) and she frequently jumps on my lap and just throws her head back, knowing I’ll catch her. 🤭 Both my shih tzu will come up to me and paw at my hand so that they can put their chin in my hand because they know I’ll massage their jaws and rub their little heads. When I walk by, both of my pups will flop over on their backs, FULLY splayed. ☺️ They will even tilt their heads back so I can reach their neck easier. They also get frequent nose-boops both with my fingertip and with my own nose. Even more endearing, my pups LOVE when I rub the bridge of their noses. Because my pups are well trained with grooming, I can touch and hold their tails without any response from them. My pups are spoiled rotten and absolutely know that they’re pampered and adored.

    I have 3 children and I find it funny how our dog interacts with everyone in the family differently. Only with my youngest(who is 16 now) he will try to chase him away if he even walks by his food. Its almost like because he is the youngest the dog treats him like he would with a puppy and tries to put him in his place even though our dog weighs 9 pounds. But with me, he wouldn't care if i pulled a peice of chicken right out of his mouth

  • @milumav
    @milumav2 күн бұрын

    That reminds me of one of my first schnauzers, she treated us each differently but lovingly except my older sister, who had never really enjoyed being at home or being a part of the family, (we're estranged now). That dog never accepted her as part of the pack, and would move over if any of us needed to sit on the couch EXECEPT my sister, who she would categorically refuse to move over for and even growl if she tried to move her, (just a little motor sound, she never bit or snapped at anyone). She wasn't mean or aggressive towards my sister, there was just zero bond there, she treated my sister like a family friend or neighbor, nothing more. Strange how she could sense my sister's disdain for the family way before any of us could at the time, (we see it now in hindsight, but were oblivious to it then).

    My dog Smiddy was a pit bull... He liked playing with children, people tought he was dangerous just because of his breed... He changed peoples minds when a bear came to the playground, and children were scared... I ran to the playground to try to help some parents with their children... Smiddy jumped on the Bear's back and lock his jaw on him... The Bear rolled and Smiddy got away from him... The Bear chased Smiddy, and Smiddy lead the Bear away from the playground... The Cops came and shot the bear... They took Smiddy to the human jail cells he was quarantined, because they thought he might have rabies... When the Cops released Smiddy, the parents of thise children were giving Smiddy praise... They bought him toys and food... I miss Smiddy, he died about 10 years ago... 😔
