Bird's career could have been better if Len Bias who was picked in 1986 hadn't died of an overdose. Bias was better than Jordan, think of a Kevin Garnett only 10 years earlier. Bird and Bias and Mchale and Parish would've torn up the league and won multiple championships.

The Bulls should have swept the Supersonics in the Finals but I honestly think the Bulls got bored after going up 3 to 0!

They definitely did get bored and Seattle, with their backs against the wall, got a little rhythm for 2 games but Jordan doesn't go to Game 7...

When people laugh at Draymond saying he could limit Shaq, I remember watching Rodman, 100 pounds lighter, owning prime athletic Shaq.

Lasalle Thompson is a good dude. He was there to pick Bird up after the fall on his face, and he was there to give him props and admiration after the final whistle. He knew what he had just been a part of.

1988 Duel with Dominique. There's a great video about it with player interviews and footage. In the next days paper it was reported that Bird had played the game with bronchial pneumonia. Check out the video, tho. Great battle. (On NickSmithNBA channel, I think)

My favorite player of all time. I will never forgive the Hawks for trading him. They may not have won it, but they would have went far. Whatever happened to Danny? I don't care. Just making a point. And Jon Konkac? What a joke of a so-called player there ever was.
