You used Counter Top Resin in place of Laminating Resin? Has it held up for many rides or Cracked all to pieces?

What's the clear top sheet made off? I would like to put my own artwork on a board and seal it somehow. I've used automotive clear and it chipped so easily.

I really like to watch a craftsmen working with a lathe and making something unique. Yes, there will be countless views on how long it could take to make and how large or how small should the pieces be? ... Well, my view is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder 🙂 ... Each piece of a hand made chess set presents a different challenge 'even down to just making them match' ... I certainly discovered this after making my own set that took over 60 hours to hand craft ! ... ( And included countless mishaps and rejects along the way 🤣 ) ... You can't really place an accurate value on something individually hand crafted as a 'one off' and that has taken many hours to make ... If you sell, I guess it's what a collector is prepared to pay ... I really enjoyed your video. 🙂👍

A very beautiful giant hand crafted chess set ... I really like the larger sets ... The craftsmanship that you have put into creating the look of those pieces is superb. 👍🙂 I can appreciate the work and time it takes to create such a beautiful set ... (Such a shame you parted with them 😢) ...

18:05 Beautiful except they've set the board up wrong lol....Black Queen sits on Black Square, White Queen sits on White Square. Great skillz utilized in the making of this set, truly magnificent chessmen, its been a joy to watch their creation.

Super Skills: W💥W! Thats a BIG Chess Set! I wouldn't mind playing a game on such a mammoth set as that, it would add a lot of character to the game. Beautiful pieces too btw, classic Staunton!

For future reference, it takes a lot longer but you'll get better results on the corner alignment if you glue one row at a time. Still not perfect (at least not in my experience, though a jointer would probably help) but pretty dang good.

Do a few updates to how your board holds up. It would be neat to see what you learn after using for a few months, 6 months, year... Also, it would be interesting to see the cost breakdown
