Great video recently met Jay on fishing trip down at Eastbourne, he even carried me bag back at 230am after a great session ! Caught me biggest smoothhound 👌Had nice chat and he gave some good tips, great lad 👍 will be down again 🎣
👍
Jay you are the man would be good to see more rig preparation maybe indoors next time so impressed with you making it up on the beach Fair play
He is a man of many talents 😁
Love your vids.. have smoothounds always been on the south coast? Like back in the 70s etc or are they a fairly recent thing
They traditionally were caught around Selsey. they have moved this way in the last few years, I think they were always here, but not in numbers.
Looking forward to the October club challenge match. Are you coming to film Chris?
Yes mate, definitely also would like to fish it if there is space.
@@tonystackleseamatch398 hopefully there will be 👍. Be great for the clubs to meet . Bacton in October known for Flounder and Bass . I’m looking forward to meeting you all 👍
Nice one CJ
👍
Brilliant video mate. I live in gosport. I have known Tony for over 50 years. I have sold him my personalised match measures that he sold all over the country. I would like to come down and fish one of your comps only if Joe and Harvey are fishing. Please let me know. Take care and stay safe mate. Tom.
I will let you know.
Another brilliant video, thanks Chris, just 1 question, how come Tony has gone back to using his Gravity HT
The prototypes of the mag iv are being trialled by various people . Once that is done, the final version will be on sale. He is using the latest version atm. Features in the next video.
Lovely night, at the right mark a real sole night!
Lots of soul, but no sole
Nice one Tony Nice one Chris and congratulations, Chris.👍
Thanks
Congratulations CJ Well you can't always get the fish but great to see the banter Another great video
👍
Excellent video 😊
👍
It doesn’t mater if your reel up or reel down, your hands are going to be in same position, Thumb spool up if right handed , or left hand if reel down. the fact some say bend the rod more is nonsense, a rod will bend the same no mater where you place a reel.
I'm sure it's a lot to do with preference and belief. I personally prefer fixed spool up, multi down, either way I believe my casting is crap. 😂
Well done chris
👍
Thank you very much Brian and Chris for a fun filled few hours. Just need to practice now before part 2. Thanks to my Daughter’s and there family’s for the birthday voucher.
Thanks for the video - L C
Absolutely brilliant watching for me as just starting to learn this style of casting many thanks cj and Brian . Its a shame I'm on the east coast and we don't have people like Brian here to teach us the skills I have to learn of videos like this many thanks
I so need this!
Need a wireless mic or something can’t hear him but like the vid we all need some pointers ( better with ear phones)
There is a story behind that....
Well cool that's so good excellent instructor 😊
Cracking watch as usual nice one lads from the north east coast
Are those caps available in Merch shop?? Gotta love The Donald!!
Great video CJ really enjoyed it. All really nice blokes. I love watching Joes casting and bait presentation. A great angler who is also very modest, which shines through. Keep them coming. Best wishes Dave broadstairs
Very enjoyable video 😊
On one of your older vids tony had sme paper with the chelsea badges on it? Think it was the match card but csnt find the vid now.. and does Joe find using a multi and mono holds him back as i still prefer the multi mono approach myself
I'll look and see if I can find the video. And I'm sure it doesn't hold Joe back, he wins too many matches using them.
@@tonystackleseamatch398 thanks mate.. i wonderd what it was with the chelsea badge on lol think it was the match card
Great vid cj
Thanks sorry it's taken so long to get out. Had a few things to sort out.
Cj I don't no if you can get them imported eels anymore but we use to use eel section for tope but that was before they became protected in this country.what a killer bait they was.🦈🦈
How do. Wondering is there any such thing as a fishing expo for the general public like they do for carp
Tony has open days.
Yeah I no he does although I'm a 6 hour drive from the shop bit of a mission 😂hense why I asked if there was anything across the country Cheers lad
Nice sharing host i really fishing also, beautiful fishing spot, more sharing more blessings to come, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful moment
Nice one vern 👍 😊
Brilliant video gents. As afr as I'm concerned by far the best video for OTG and Pendulum casting. Many thanks..... 👍
Cj I've just bought a sonik black bass rod 2/4oz 11ft5in.and haven't stop catching bass fantastic bite detection.
Well done Gerald you explained that brilliantly. Take care and stay safe mate. Tom.
Harrison rods are made in the Uk very nice rods if they are in your price rang.
Hi guys, i fish Southeast Essex and North Kent marks, so half clean ground distance fishing and half patchy mixed ground and strong-ish tides, right through the year, mostly 5 and 6oz leads. I really like the look of the Fireblade GT but not too sure which length for this general area? Any ideas which id be best going with the 13 or 14ft?
Buy one 1 rod pay twice.
Brilliant video mate thanks. Never met Joe I have known Tony from the first day he opened his shop. I am going to have a go in some of their matches. Take care and stay safe everyone. Tom.
I was told the reason the Mackerel dont come rightin to the beach until July ,August is because they can't stand the Mayrot in there gills. Is this tr true??
I'm sure that is one reason. They also only come up onto the beach when they are focused on eating whitebait. So the concentration of the whitebait is another reason. This might be as a consequence of improved water clarity.
That sound coming off the line.
Well done everyone including you Chris for the filming.
👍
Excellent video as always makes my day 😊
Is the likes of an M4 GT likely to be OTT for around the Essex and Suffolk area? Most year round other than dire weather conditions, and the odd trip elsehwere once or twice a year. Am looking to get myself a matching pair of top end rods to see me into my twighlight and always hearing people raving about these rods
Not ott at all, the m4gt is a great all round rod.
Respect the fish ! Try using a bucket and stop dragging fish up the beach. Poor show foe seasoned anglers. It doesn’t give our sport a very good image
I agree
Have you seen Sussex IFCA public consultation on fixed netting ,they want to allow having a fixed net set in just 2 metres of water through out the Sussex area and there is a part allowing close inshore netting at Langley for the plaice
this should not be allowed , so they want commercial fisherman to deplete our fish stocks inshore so beach anglers do not get a look in, bloody greedy people .
ile join this in the winter , now aged 54 .. lets do it
I see Tony is back on the Sonik ht
There is a story to that. 😂
@@tonystackleseamatch398 It appears to still work
Excellent well done all.
wish you would wipe your camera,
Yeah me too.
F@@kin hit it man !!!
You should try the graphex supermatch has the power to send 7oz (5/6 optimum) and the tip to see the smallest bites I have a graphex sport, supermatch, kompressor ss, excalibur tt. My most used are the supermatchs
