Chris , Happy New Year. Another great video . Your comments on the buckets , spot on. My wife keeps moaning about why the anglers drag the fish up the fish , why can't they walk down the beach a reel in ?

Another excellent film and the discussion from 53.00 about catch and release was spot on. The pressure that fish stocks are under - pollution, commercial over-fishing, etc - makes it vital that we return immature fish to grow on. Coarse match anglers and even game anglers have been practicing C&R for decades. If we want decent numbers of fish in the future, it's the way forward.

Hi Chris, still enjoying your videos, v. good production in some of the conditions encountered, when you asked the fella in the red top about doing the Qand A with you, did make me think, about people, the different responses you get when you start chatting with them, he seemed a pleasant chap, but some of them barely answer or look at you, they say it takes all sorts!

Actually im amazed at how relaxed most have got in front of the camera, i have to edit a lot of the chat out to try and keep the videos at a reasonable length , and that is getting harder.

Hi c j I fished on Thursday down the thames and that wind was relentless but still managed six fish 3 whiting 3 school bass.then fished Saturday with my son with the wind blowing straight in our faces still we got seven between us. 4 whiting and 3 schoolies.

First 3 minutes, Tony drags a whiting across the shingle, unclips the trace dumping said whiting back on the shingle then immediately casts out again. He does this repeatedly in every show. No fish care whatsoever and why is he seemingly the only angler there who does not use a water filled bucket for the fish?

Who a gives a toss. If you’re that worried about the fish, I suggest you never hook one through the face and then drag it through the water for your own amusement then.

Chris, Just a small suggestion. Is there any way of showing a visual at the start of the video of were the pegs are on google earth or maps. Even just start and finish pegs. Great Video. Thanks

Happy new year lads,, I don't think the anglers have much affect to what's in the sea and many places are plaged with small whiting's don't get me wrong sure fling them back in my opinion the damage is being done much further out at sea with nets I've seen with my own eyes stone after stone of netted cod breading size stock being flung over the side to rot because of quotas etc fair enough do your bit but the problem doesn't lie with the anglers ,, cheers 👍

Request for the channel. Would it be possible to add the details of where to find and join angling clubs and comps - also where the events are posted? Nomads, Over 50's, etc IN THE CHANNEL DESCRIPTION? I'm 2+ hrs drive away and cant just pop in at Tony's Tackle to check. I have been looking all over the web for Nomads and only find 2 x old Facebook pages, a website not working. I would love to join a match sometime but cant find any details. Thanks!

A small hook hung off a bigger hook, You bait the small hook to catch a little fish. The little fish then acts as a livebait for the big hook. It is used when there are lot of little fish around and you canst cast a livebait very far. If you watch Totally Awesome Fishing, Graeme is often using one.
