Absolutely brilliant watching for me as just starting to learn this style of casting many thanks cj and Brian . Its a shame I'm on the east coast and we don't have people like Brian here to teach us the skills I have to learn of videos like this many thanks

It doesn’t mater if your reel up or reel down, your hands are going to be in same position, Thumb spool up if right handed , or left hand if reel down. the fact some say bend the rod more is nonsense, a rod will bend the same no mater where you place a reel.

I'm sure it's a lot to do with preference and belief. I personally prefer fixed spool up, multi down, either way I believe my casting is crap. 😂
Need a wireless mic or something can’t hear him but like the vid we all need some pointers ( better with ear phones)
