I grew up in Milwaukee, caught the end of the 80s as my earliest memories. Use to be such an awesome city. Would love to have experienced that city from 1950s to 1970s, hell even early 80s. Spent from 2020 to 2022 up there and it was disappointing.

It's 2024 and I came to this video after a YT short I just watched interviewed a US Marine that was witness to her death in 65"! I'd never heard of her but her life and story captivated me. She was on tough lady, having survived battles on Iwo" and Okinawa!!
This is wonderful. My father is Joe Hauser. He took us to the concerts every Tuesdsay evenings to all the nursing homes. It was such a fun time. This was back in the 70's when I was attending !

My Dad was a Hmong Soldier in the Secret War. He fought for America. He used to tell me about what happen when he was in the war. He say you always have to be alert because you can get ambush and killed. I am thankful for my Dad who got me and my family here to USA. And Thankful for all hmong soldiers who fought for our freedom. Honor those Hmong soldiers who fought and died. They our Heros our history. Long live Hmong! I am proud to be Hmong. As kids back in the late 60’s- 1970s we would camp at a lake resort in northern Wisconsin. Pretty sure the lake was called big McKensy lake(likely spelled wrong). Anyway it was the resort where some gangsters had a big shootout with the feds. I remember seeing gun ports built into the foundation of the resort and bullet marks where there was an obvious gun fight. It was quite the battle. I was told it was there where Al Capone barely made it away from the area alive. It was a favorite hangout for us teenagers to fish and swim all day,.then go bar hopping at night by boat. Those were the days my friends.
