    Yes, you can but tighen it with long breaker bar as much as you can. Rememeber to pinch the metal part on the bolt for extra security. But do it on your own risk not recommended without torque wrench though :)

    From your review I got the stahlwille 3/8 flexhead. A great tool. Helps a lot on tight spaces compared to hazet 1/2. It can't 100% replace the strength of 1/2 ratchet but very useful. Removed the downpipe and steering box in my audi for repairing.

    Car Repair, I really like the head size on that "teardrop" Gedore ratchet, nice and small. As for the flat shank that is way I got the Gedore 1997 15 inch breaker bar, I was thinking it would get past engine pulleys better. I wouder if that ratchet has a 3/8 dr mac gear inside the head. Question I think you have the Hazet 916HPK how do the head size compare ?

  • @carrepairandtoolsvideos
    @carrepairandtoolsvideos11 күн бұрын

    Yes, you are right, flat shaft has some benefits as you mentioned already. I dont have hazet hpk ratchet but I have similar hazet ratchet with 30 gear teeth. Head size of that ratchet is pretty small. Head size of Gedore and Hazet are pretth much same on side ways infact Hazet has slightly small profile profile but not that significant. But teardrop side of Gedore is smaller than the rest

    @@EdAtoZ exactly. If you have noticed that the whole set from Hazet with 1/2'' and 1/4'' ratchet and socket set cost around 200€ and just 1/2'' ratchet and socket set cost over 300€ which has just few extra extensions and universal joint adapter etc. What I found is Hazet offer those as their promotional product. @@carrepairandtoolsvideos I did buy some metal layout tools form German site, But 4 years ago. Once you convert USD into Euro's often a good sell in USA is better. It's one of those things do you need it now or do you have time to wait and see. I still am surprised that Hazet does not have a 24 inch breaker bar. Will their be more Hazet visit videos.

  • @carrepairandtoolsvideos
    @carrepairandtoolsvideos11 күн бұрын

    @@EdAtoZ Some time Hazet are behind the other brands when it comes to update. Like Hiper series introduced not long ago and before that they had mostly 30 gear teeth ratchets and one model with 72 gear teeth which they called it fine tooth. They dont have fine tooth flex head ratchet and no locking function. You are right they dont have breaker bar in 24". I think they should have not only 24" but also in 36" in my opinion. They have 20" ratchet though with 30 gear teeth. I have reviewed that too. Yes there are many more videos to come on Hazet factory tour e.g forging process and cold forging of sockets. You will see them in the future :)
