I do not have torque wrench high enough for wheel nut. can i just tighten as hard as i can?

Yes, you can but tighen it with long breaker bar as much as you can. Rememeber to pinch the metal part on the bolt for extra security. But do it on your own risk not recommended without torque wrench though :)

From your review I got the stahlwille 3/8 flexhead. A great tool. Helps a lot on tight spaces compared to hazet 1/2. It can't 100% replace the strength of 1/2 ratchet but very useful. Removed the downpipe and steering box in my audi for repairing.

Even though Hazet hiper series ratchets are my one of the favourites but 3/8" flex head ratchet from Stahlwille is my most favourite. As you said narrow profile and compact ratchet is a big plus

You need to try z90 MATADOR Ratchet. Matador its a old school germany brand, for more fun, it a OEM Mercedes, BMW wrenches. A lot of japanese people order them.

Car Repair, I really like the head size on that "teardrop" Gedore ratchet, nice and small. As for the flat shank that is way I got the Gedore 1997 15 inch breaker bar, I was thinking it would get past engine pulleys better. I wouder if that ratchet has a 3/8 dr mac gear inside the head. Question I think you have the Hazet 916HPK how do the head size compare ?

Yes, you are right, flat shaft has some benefits as you mentioned already. I dont have hazet hpk ratchet but I have similar hazet ratchet with 30 gear teeth. Head size of that ratchet is pretty small. Head size of Gedore and Hazet are pretth much same on side ways infact Hazet has slightly small profile profile but not that significant. But teardrop side of Gedore is smaller than the rest

You got a good deal with $62. I am not sure since I have not seen any one removed the handle and have not seen hiper ratchet handle sold on internet either. But ofcourse those can be removed with hot water method. But spare handle part cant say any thing

If you have noticed that the whole set from Hazet with 1/2'' and 1/4'' ratchet and socket set cost around 200€ and just 1/2'' ratchet and socket set cost over 300€ which has just few extra extensions and universal joint adapter etc. What I found is Hazet offer those as their promotional product. Have you tried German amazon they offer way better prices and ship all over the world too.

It's one of those things do you need it now or do you have time to wait and see. I still am surprised that Hazet does not have a 24 inch breaker bar. Will their be more Hazet visit videos.

@@EdAtoZ Some time Hazet are behind the other brands when it comes to update. Like Hiper series introduced not long ago and before that they had mostly 30 gear teeth ratchets and one model with 72 gear teeth which they called it fine tooth. They dont have fine tooth flex head ratchet and no locking function. You are right they dont have breaker bar in 24". I think they should have not only 24" but also in 36" in my opinion. They have 20" ratchet though with 30 gear teeth. I have reviewed that too. Yes there are many more videos to come on Hazet factory tour e.g forging process and cold forging of sockets. You will see them in the future :)

You could avoid the hazzle by simply loosening the hub with a 30 socket.

Loosening the hub means changing to the new bearing. Thats hell of the job. Soon that video will come too with removing the hub.
