    @@carrepairandtoolsvideos Question on your Hazet HiPer 916HPLG, Their is one youtube video that claims when the selector switch is in the middle it turns the ratchet into a breaker bar ? Nor where else is this mentioned so is this true ?

  • @carrepairandtoolsvideos

    @@EdAtoZ No, that's not true. Although switch stops in middle turning ratcheting into little breaker bar its just the design lag I guess.

    @@carrepairandtoolsvideos Will I got the Hazet ratchet 916HPL yesterday.. The anvil has no play and high torque to rotate, which I think come with the tight main gear. The reversing switch needs to be pushed about 3/4 of the way to click over (which I am not a fan of). But the shank is thick deflect little. Wish the grip was longer. But it dos seem to be very strong and that was what I was looking for. Do you find it funny that these new ratchets are not sealed ?

    Car repair, have you watched the Torque Test Channel they have done some torque resting on Stahlwille wrenches / spanners ?

    Yeah and I m surprised about Stahlwille. There must be something wrong with the spanner or that was fake since there are fake available on internet. My experience is different. For me Stahlwille spanners are one of the best

    @@carrepairandtoolsvideos They did retest Stahlwille wrench (tested twice) and I would say the Williams SuperCombo wrench also under performed what I have done with them.

    Car repair, I am impressed by the forcing screw, that is the weak point in many puller. Some time spending more money does get you better thing. Off subject question, their is one European tool type I just do not under stand the angled socket wrenches or spanners like the Facom 76.J5 set. Why use these wrenches instead of a socket and ratchet ?

  • @carrepairandtoolsvideos

    @carrepairandtoolsvideos

    This tool is robust. Its bit expensive but worth every penny. The socket type wrench you are talking about is Pass Through type wrench. You can put allen key through that socket to hold inner screw for example. These are old type of tools.

    Car repair, Question Since the forcing screw pushes on the shaft assembly have you ever had the problem that this side ways force damages the shaft assembly bearing (Axle shaft joint assembly) ?

  • @carrepairandtoolsvideos

    No it does not demage it. You need to push the forcing screw enough that it break the rust bond between CV axle and knuckle. I stop there once it moves a bit then I use slide hammer. Or first I unscrew the CV axle screw and remove it completly and then continue until hub is removed totally.
